Awakening is ego death- and coming back. So when someone says you ain't awake - it means you ain't died. It's Absolute and finally. There are no degrees. God is God and omniscience is Absolute. There are no degrees to omniscience. You can understand reality In a flash but you can forget it even quicker. The fool believes there are degrees to grasping God. There cannot be because God is beyond the human grasp. There is only becoming God. But enlightenment is very real, even if we are only left with the memory. God becomes God for a short time - the rest of his time is spent being that which is other than God. It's much more spellbinding. To God, being God is boring. It is much more enticing to be mortal.

@AlexNonymous6 this is an excellent post and I really commend you for the level of awakening and oneness you have experienced. It is something beyond what 99.9 percent of this foolish population will ever understand. But know this - had you gone through the final awakening you would know that others are a figment of your imagination and thus they must be glued to the dream. If all others woke up you could not linger and persist here. Your dream would dissolve. You must have something real and concrete here - something that you can hold onto - and thus you dream that others believe in its realism. This further solidifies its realism to you. You cannot dare fathom how deep this goes, or how deep as God you will go to fool yourself. If you take anything away from Gura - know that his lectures on self deception are probably the most essential.

Putting into percents is another mistake. You either wake up from a dream or you don't. There aren't percents of this. There are different things you can learn about the dream you are dreaming - but awakening is Absolute.

No they are not. If you think there was some alternative motive in that episode you are mistaken. There was not. It was simply to teach that death, along with your soul, is but a thought in the mind. In fact - it is a thought in the mind of God. Death- by you - has never been experienced. It never will be. A soul, will never be shown to you anywhere- because it does not exist. A self that does not exist cannot die. Thoughts can die, but what are they? Perhaps They never were anything. Perhaps what was never anything cannot be something.

Only because you came back Yes that is correct. Which is why total insanity cannot exist. It is the same as death. Leo's definition of insanity is your mind going into a completely different reality. That is something different then my definition- which is a loss of the sense of self.

No imaginary means it's made of mind. It's the stuff of dreams. It's not made of matter. This is real though, because there is nothing other than that.

I don't know why he removed it. It was the perfect finish for an epic run. If his videos don't awaken you, nothing will. And yet- he himself did not awaken. He it non-dual states, yes - but it was like accessing a bunch of cheat codes. He didn't do it. Drugs don't do it. End of story.

Awakening. But real and imaginary are identical. You mean physical and objective - meaning something beyond the current experience.

@Holykael its imperative that you realize your wisdom is no where near as a character to God's Infinite Wisdom. God isn't making you finite to punish you. He wants you to realize that the greatest gift is to transcend your own finitude and selfishness.... .Do not jump so quickly to think he programmed you with an inability to awaken. But even if you don't - you can look and be inspired by the paraplegic that still has a a love and a zest tor life. And see how selfish you are. It is selflessness that God wants you to see. You can look beyond your own shortcomings and realize that is in those that make you perfect. God holds out the hope that you may one day rise above selfish desires and realize that that is not what life and love are about. That will be the ultimate gift to yourself.

Good stuff. Indeed you are talking to yourself. But remember, when you speak of your own character - note that there are many characters that have it way way worse than you. People with debilitating illnesses or paralysis- things of that nature - making for a seemingly miserable existence. Yet through the light of God and Love they still find happiness. You can too. GOD wants you to realize that you are in control of how you view your life. That control is Absolute. So if you sulk in your misery, that is what you will get back in return.

Or perhaps they leave it unsaid and rather speak of no self. But when you remove the self what else remains? .....

@RedLine in the end - the Absolute shall never be captured. We can name it Infinity. We can name it God. We can name it Love. But the problem, should there be one, is in the we. For this, we must turn inwards- to destroy the we. And then, only then, shall it be revealed. Because it refuses to reveal itself to a we. It cannot - because it cannot be named by a we. Yes - Buddhism comes close - because it does not attempt to glorify God as another. For there to be a we, there must be an opposite. As in, what is not us. But God is Us. Is it not? That is for God to discover

Such matters cannot be taught. Grab the framework from the episodes - then walk the path by sitting in silence. Dwell in Being. That is where Truth hides.

@M A J I @Breakingthewall as you both see - it is in not knowing that true understanding is found. For understanding is not found in the conceptual realm. It can be found, but by no one.

Omniscience IS Spirituality. Love IS Spirituality. The Unity of both Omniscience and Love is God.

If you've died and become pure consciousness then yes the answer is the body is an illusion as is the self. Consciousness goes on forever. You will forget you were in this form for another form.

There are no awakened therapists, so they won't be able to aid in anyone's mediation practice.

Because you have OCD alone is actually a gift, not a curse - when it comes to spirituality. If you can just sit in actuality for enough time, you will awaken - and this will be much less time then one who isn't genetically gifted. It could be a matter of weeks or months, as opposed to decades. To calm your anxiety, I would look into some SSRIs and or benzos, that will open your mind and free you from anxiety, so that you can sit in actuality for long periods of time.

@Razard86 my point still stands in terms of awakening someone. You can't. No method works. Especially not brute force. A horse can be led to water but not forced to drink. So a gentler approach is the more wise, for the wise see that teaching awakening is a futile endeavor
