Precisely. All of this is as he says- pure magic. Because it needs not be stored anywhere. And whats crazier is that what is right now is everything and nothing...right now it is both the Actualized and the potential. It's just fooling you into thinking it's just one possibility....the possibility that you are being @Arthogaan right now - when in fact you are all of it. You are me and @justfortoday just as much as you are "you". It just requires a shift in consciousness to realize. -

@justfortoday well I prefer to think of it as every other possibility, exists as nothing, or pure potential. But of course, even something IS nothing. But what I added to my post above is that because brains are irrelevant, you also have to concede per your explanation that there must be experiences as atoms, or molecules, or quarks, or.....you see where I'm going? -

All that exists is NOW. Everything else is being dreamed up by Infinite Mind - or that which can't be spoken as it has been called. AKA Infinity - AKA God. All objects - both self and other - with brains and without brains - are indeed imaginary. Formed reality is identical to that of a dream- a dream of One Mind. Why would an Infinite Intelligence go through the trouble of keeping a database when it is Infinite and it all can exist as nothing? Why would it hold a database of so called conscious entities - because remember - humans aren't the only beings with brains. Even ants have a brain, which supposedly holds consciousness. Does it have a database of a gazillion ants and there experience? And why would it limit it to "creatures" with brains? Why couldn't it experience itself as a chair? This is kinda where your ideas fall apart. It would have to hold a database of every experience as a chair, or a couch, or an atom, or a molecule, or a quark..and you see this circles around to everything and nothing, because you can break reality down forever. Other selves aren't conscious because even the self isn't conscious. This is the materialist or brain paradigm. Consciousness can appear to take any form and then imagine it is separate from other form. And thus consciousness is dreaming itself to be a self where there are other selves, both human and animal - all of whom hold consciousness within a brain. All of this is an illusion. Because there is no difference between your mother and the couch!!! They are all fragments of Consciousness...but it is very easy to be fooled about that because the materialist paradogm taught you that because you have a brain you are having a conscious experience. It is very easy to fall into the illusion. But really, all there is, is right now. Only what is actual. Consciousness was never held in a brain. -

This an Absolute answer but one must first realize what is relative. If my Christian friend asked me why her child died of cancer I could not tell her its because she is God and it was her will. I could - but it would fall on deaf ears. -

You're trying to get some conceptual answer to this. Words are words. You need to go beyond words for what we are telling you. -

I would say it's important to understand philosophy has its value but then one must go beyond philosophy and access the Truth directly. Here we must be careful because even to call this spirituality can confuse someone looking in. But then again, we are sitting here talking about Truth, so there are inherent dangers simply doing that. Ultimately you have to realize that Truth is a slippery beast. It will attempt to evade you at all costs and masquerade as various things or descriptions- none of which are actually it - even the word actual isn't it. I think this where @Jannes might be going with this. We need to very careful with our use of language. Ultimately since all dualities collapse - it means all words must also collapse. -
Inliytened1 replied to Jannes's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I was eluding to what @Moksha was saying- the word spirituality tends to get misinterpreted- (wow - here's something familiar - like the term solipsism!)...so really, its simpler to think about what is actual in terms of what is True. And Truth is what one seeks, no? Spirituality ultimately just points to what is True. But what is true just IS - it is Actual. -

True spirituality is Actuality. -
Inliytened1 replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If you really take the time to go deep enough and question everything- you will realize that good and bad are relative. And everything breaks down - all duality breaks down to Absolute Oneness. You are every being in reality - just as in a dream at night all of the characters are your own mind - and it is One Mind dreaming it all. In the end, if you delve far enough into this work, all distinctions will collapse to where the question also becomes relative - and doesn't exist in the Absolute sense. -
Inliytened1 replied to Jannes's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Actually even spirituality is conceptual. Actuality is what you want to separate philosophy from. See the episode "what is actuality" and see if you can grasp the difference between that and imagination. -

I've been there for a time. That's a paradoxical statement because there is no one to be there. So "i" do have a clue. But don't mistake it for depression. True depersonalization is dissociation from the self - it is a complete lack of the sense of self - it is the abyss. It is not suicidal tendencies- because that which is no self cannot end itself. -

Depersonalization is enlightenment minus becoming God or realizing you are God. I experienced Depersonalization and realized instantly that it is identical. This was an insight or an epiphany. The only reason I knew Depersonalization itself wasn't enlightenment is because if it was, all the people suffering it would be awake. So in a nutshell - God realization is depersonalization with the added bonus of God realization. But otherwise it's Identical. God is not all upside. God realization is bliss but also the epiphany that you are completely by Yourself and that there are no other conscious entities anywbere is blistering and shocking.. This shows that a non-dual state does not have always have to be all upside. To say that is to once again limit the limitless. -

It doesn't matter while the ego exists. The longer (the older) the ego exists the more pessimistic it will become because the more it will see how fucked up survival is. A religious person will counter this with their faith in God and that God will ultimately fix everything. That's called keeping the faith. An awakened person, however, knows that faith is a falsehood. That they ARE exactly what is being manifested. They can still get lost in the dream and be a pessimist. But at the highest level they still grasp it is a game. Getting lost in it is just fine. -

The only thing that separates you from the Truth is you. -

It would be joyous if there were other Gods. But they could always only exist within your mind. -

You got it. Not even for love's sake. Love is Being. -

It does until it doesn't. Self inquire. But keep in mind that true self inquiry will kill you. -

Spirituality is not the dispelling of rationality- it is embodying rationality and then going beyond it. It is transrational. That includes rationality and mysticism which is not irrational but rather both includes and transcends. -

Robots aren't conscious enough to realize they are robots- or to go meta on their existence. Since you are existence yourself, you have that ability. You also have the ability to then forget and thus the lucidity you had can be gone. It's just like a dream at night. The character within the dream doesn't know its a dream- but they can awaken as the Dreamer and then go back into the dream lucid. And then they can go back to sleep and forget all about that. -
Inliytened1 replied to davecraw's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It really points to Being or Consciousness - but both- or Reality itself- are actually ineffable. Because it is what you are, which is fundamental and prior to thinking of what you are - for there you have already gone too far. See the episode called "What is Perception" -

God is all that appears and vanishes, simultaneously. It is the chair and it is the dog. But these are God masquerading as a chair and a dog. And like any good shapeshifter it must have no shape as its source. You are correct that it cannot be pointed to. But one must be careful here. For in saying this is God there is a subtle duality between self and other being generated. If this is God, then who is it declaring such? If it is just what is- yes - but then be careful not to take the Beingness from God. For it is you that is Being it. There cannot be any separation. Language is limited so when we say You we don't mean the ego. If you choose to leave out the you, that's fine as long as there doesn't exist that duality in your mind, hiding in the backround. -

I don't feel that you are spamming at all. I went back and read again- and I have to say your words are some of the wisest here. You have captured the Absolute so beautifully- and since it truly cannot be captured - your words become even more beautiful. Yes, if we meet, no words will need to be said. Your destiny is to become a mystic, because your ability to describe God is truly mystifying. And yet, in your descriptions you speak of Pure Awareness - awareness minus the self. This is so true- but these words, much like Buddhism, miss the Love/Bliss. For Lovd/Bliss IS Being. It is Pure, impersonal awareness. Failure to mention Love/Bliss and Fullness is a failure to accurately describe the Transcendence or the falling away of the self. Indeed, Oneness must also not be lost here- for Solipsism points at Absolute Oneness. Non-duality. But Solipsism must fall to Being, as all things do. As the realization of Infinity and Nothingness do. Moreover, Omniscience and Being are bound together, for without Understanding nothing exists. You are Pure Understanding and Love. That is the same as Empty Awareness. -

What I fear for you is the sandtrap of becoming overly immersed in concept. All of this is nice- but it is merely a map and not the territory. You must become God - not try to capture God with theory. And what you are doing here lately is getting lost in theory to the point where it has become an obsession. You have the theory down - indeed you do. And your intuition has guided you properly to the place where you need to be. But now, linger not. Now only becoming a mystic awaits. Mysticism is where you must go now. -
Inliytened1 replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This would be nice but it is not complete - this is because it makes it seem like God is not You. Like what appears and you are two separate things. They are not. If you understand that, then yes it is OK to say this is all experience and not my experience. But for one that hasn't collapsed the duality of self and other - we say my as in the Self or royal Self in Buddhism. To me the Self with a capital S is much more accurate then just raw experience- because it is much more than just experience.. There is a personal aspect to it but not in the sense of the small self. The One who feels is not the ego. But he feels it through the ego. It is through the ego that God can make it personal.
