We are all vulnerable to temptation. The question is who is going to act on it. So the question of character is very relevant. If we act on it- that makes us different in some way. Either we lack understanding and later realize it's a mistake. or we go full throttle and have no remorse. It will mostly be the latter Big difference between Hitler or any other fascists and the average Joe. I know you want to sound like a psychologist and say we all have it in us but there are certain personality traits a person either has or doesn't have. -

Where on earth did I say that someone "empty" was evil? I did not say that anywhere. What I meant by empty was someone who lacked empathy and compassion. This guy clearly had a buti had a guilty conscience also had guilt for some feelings that he had that went against what he was supposed to feel according to society. What I meant by empty is someone who doesn't feel guilt. Who doesn't feel empathy or sadness for when his or her own mind wanders. That's called a sociopath. And only those could turn into a Hitler. A person that can sleep at night when hundreds are being walked to their deaths the day prior. It's normal for this guy to feel guilt or anything at all for those feelings. That makes him a human being. -

There is only this. Nothing else exists. Not a self. Not anything. You reading and understanding this post is all that exists and all that is happening. Now if you choose to think about anything else...anything! Like the scratch on your asshole, or the girl you forgot to call today cuz you chose to fuck around on the forum...or how Trump watched a rocket blast with Musk edging him on...all of that happens right now! Prior to that you were just reading this post. You see, your world is all that exists. Everything else...well..it's imagined. But it's imagined on an even deeper level than what your doing right now! Because that's being imagined too. It's all a dream brother. -

@Emerald I don't buy it. This is entirely your projection. I think racists are typically just really bad, empty guys to begin with - and have something missing. This guy wasn't necessarily evil, he just had a conscience .....he's messed up (the cognitive dissonance you mentioned) and he is juggling these natural messed up feelings that may not be accepted and he doesn't know how to deal with them because he doesn't know how to deal with the guilt. Everyone's story and upbringing is different so I think it's very limited to bring one guy's personal story and say this is the psychology of fascism. We all have our upbringing and a part of that plays a role but at the end of the day we can make a conscious choice of whether we want to hate or not One guy's story about repressed feelings is probably an invasion of privacy let alone a psychological reason for fascism. -

Bro don't mix spirituality with politics please. This gets really messy. Leo's stuff on spirituality is really good but leave that to what it is. -

We love you too dude. Love and kisses. The game of wrong and right is played as entertainment. Is everything OK? You seem extremely loving of late. -

Precisely. -
It should be on Leo's booklist.

It's still a democracy. It's still the land of dreams. Many would give anything to be here to make a life. To be a creator here in the land of opportunity. And it still is. The problem is we've all forgotten how to be creative. But you haven't. -

Well, you made an impact on me. So if that ain't control I don't know what is. You keep going kid. In the name of love. You will find your way. And don't ever break. Even when Love seems so far away. The world is going to hit you but as long as you keep punching you'll be ok. -

Who judges who is the Devil and who is God? Is there some outside guy and if so what is he? -
Inliytened1 replied to Recursoinominado's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
They're too busy up Musk's ass watching rockets launch at the moment. May as well call the guy who is top 10 in Diablo the President. Talk about the devil. -
Inliytened1 replied to Recursoinominado's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
But how do you not defeat the devil other than infiltrating his defenses via deception? You cannot defeat him head on you have to use his own tactics which is deception and defeat him from within. -
It doesn't seem like his autobiography is available online but you can get it at a public library. Mein Kampf is the name of the book and that will be how you really can get to know him.

Have to concur. The guy even looks like a snake. The Devil would not have any control over that. You give him too much power. -
Inliytened1 replied to Hardkill's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Hardkill That would help. But ultimately it will depend on how the economy does and international affairs. Luckily Trump can't run again. That's big. If Trump implodes or the economy faulters, the left needs to be there to step in. With stronger voices this time. -
What's different about this one?

What about your free will video. We have very little control over this dream even though we are dreaming it. Even Musk has little control he's just going on ego. -

I wasn't in the camps. If in four years you really think your suffering was equivalent to the holocaust victims then we can make that comparison. -

The thing you missed in your blog post is that if the politician even was conscious of the choice you proposed that would be something in of itself. If they were even aware and conscious that they were selling their soul. The sad reality is that none of them are even aware of anything outside of their current perspective. Otherwise they would be awake. Otherwise they would have a meta perspective. So I know you're trying to enlighten some folks about this - but honestly it falls on deaf ears. And the attack on voters - well - yes most of them are very ignorant. But those that have explored different perspectives- they may still come to the conclusion that a change was needed, for survival purposes, that doesn't necessarily mean a deal with the Devil. Because maybe if you really, really look things holistically, you would see that survival and the advancement of society can in fact be One. It just may be very deceptive on the surface as to how that plays out. Meaning long term it ended up being the best thing that could have happened. As opposed to something that seemed obvious at the beginning but led to a possibility that would have even further extended overall growth of the human race. -

Yeah but it's like those early guys that were into science too and look what happened. They got excommunicated. You guys should like at how many centuries it took for the Catholic church to lose control to science. Most scientists who challenged the Catholic church were isolated or killed. Same thing now. You have to fly under the radar if you are going to push a more advanced agenda. It's just the way it is right now. Eventually things just happen on their own.
