@Monkey Mind You're missing that Leo only teaches a very small fraction of what he's actually learned. If it feels like he's repeating a lot of things, it's probably because he wants to focus on the most foundational topics that will be most useful to his audience.

When I first got into watching YouTube videos, I was really into the athiest anti-religious channels. Nowadays, I just can't help but notice that these types of channels have devolved into the same low quality behaviors that the fundamentalist religious commentary YouTube channels used to have. Oh. . . and of course this YouTuber quotes Daniel Dennett because of course.

We've got ourselves a troll here. -

HAHA! Funniest shit I've read in a while. It might as well have been someone using logic to reason that nothing exists outside the knowledge of their tribal community. -

I discovered The Best Page in The Universe. maddox.xmission.com Those were good times -
Great timing (he said sarcastically). I was just about to do my meditation. Be back in an hour.

ON A SUNDAY?!!! Are . . You . . MaaaD? ! !

I've noticed @Leo Gura say something along these lines for a few times during the time I've been in this forum. I feel like it could possibly do with a little more elaboration. Maybe even a video's worth of explanation. I think it sorta makes sense but it's also kinda doesn't because I can sort of think of things that are popular that also aren't really that shallow imo.

Leo has been visiting the forum every now and again so he's still a part of this mortal realm. Maybe he'll release a new video this Sunday, maybe he won't

Yeah, there was: A Rant Against Jordan Peterson: Why He's a Stinky Doody-Brain Totally real video. Look it up. . . . in an alternate universe.

@Dwarniel An unhealthy manifestation of a Spiral Dynamics stage is just when its existence is threatened by higher stages.

I use YouTube to avoid dealing with creative block lol. . . . . . . It's a coping mechanism.

That's fairly standard for that kind of channel. It's probably going to reach over 200K at most. Not exactly nothing but it's not very significant either. I'll probably only really start to get worried if it exceeds 500K.

Your average normie doesn't see just "an air of spiritual superiority". To them, this is an insane self-help guru who pushes harmful illegal drugs to the public. They don't just disagree with his approach to Awakening, to them Awakening is not real.
-
Yeah, it's also in order to make a YouTube video he can get himself more success off of (ironically sponsored by an educational website). Part of this is simply devilry.

@Mada_

Those aren't necessarily bad things. The rules say this isn't an anything-goes free speech zone and he's advocating for a revolutionary drug that could potentially benefit humanity (allegedly).

I'm just curious. Excited? Maybe at some point but I haven't gotten there yet. -
@The_Rig ???

@Gili Trawangan Funnily enough, I was subbed to him for a while because of a video he made a while back though I barely watched any of his vids. He has one of those Stage Orange topical commentary/influencer type channels that sorta tends to be 'apolitical'. I agree, he's not funny. Nor does he really put much effort into research. He doesn't even know what a 'cult' is.

@SamueLSD I wrote a couple of comments. Both of them were pretty short, though. If I encountered this video a few years ago, I would have been far more immature and would have written a novel.

Careful with the bad faith critiques. The obvious difference there is that it's Leo's job as administrator to keep the forum in line with his vision. He can't just go "I'm a real man, I don't care about redpill. Everyone's free to redpill the forum!". -
This is just a bizarre story to me. It almost feels like a report from The Onion.

Podcast seems like a waste of time for him. Very unnecessary considering his main content is already very long and mostly weekly.
