Your average normie doesn't see just "an air of spiritual superiority". To them, this is an insane self-help guru who pushes harmful illegal drugs to the public. They don't just disagree with his approach to Awakening, to them Awakening is not real.
-
Yeah, it's also in order to make a YouTube video he can get himself more success off of (ironically sponsored by an educational website). Part of this is simply devilry.

@Mada_

Those aren't necessarily bad things. The rules say this isn't an anything-goes free speech zone and he's advocating for a revolutionary drug that could potentially benefit humanity (allegedly).

I'm just curious. Excited? Maybe at some point but I haven't gotten there yet. -
@The_Rig ???

@Gili Trawangan Funnily enough, I was subbed to him for a while because of a video he made a while back though I barely watched any of his vids. He has one of those Stage Orange topical commentary/influencer type channels that sorta tends to be 'apolitical'. I agree, he's not funny. Nor does he really put much effort into research. He doesn't even know what a 'cult' is.

@SamueLSD I wrote a couple of comments. Both of them were pretty short, though. If I encountered this video a few years ago, I would have been far more immature and would have written a novel.

Careful with the bad faith critiques. The obvious difference there is that it's Leo's job as administrator to keep the forum in line with his vision. He can't just go "I'm a real man, I don't care about redpill. Everyone's free to redpill the forum!". -
This is just a bizarre story to me. It almost feels like a report from The Onion.
-
Podcast seems like a waste of time for him. Very unnecessary considering his main content is already very long and mostly weekly.

Why Joe Rogan won't invite Leo Gura:

I'm anticipating the debates more tbh. Hillary vs Trump was embarrassing to watch.
-
LOL. Looks like you went through a newbie-"practicality is bullshit" phase which in itself is bullshit. EDIT: Also I'm sorta reminded of that one spiritual story involving Prophet Mohammed and the man who wouldn't tie his camel because he "puts his faith in Allah". "Tie your camel and put your faith in Allah" was Mohammed's advice.

@Hatfort My favorite was one part near the end: (paraphrased) ". . . heck just do it to upset Destiny. You know how long he has been saying Bernie has no chance of winning." -
I'm not an American (or even a voter at the moment) but if you're both of those things, you might want to check out this video.
-
YEAH! His videos were so much deeper when he was talking about 'How To Have Amazing Sex'. @Leo Gura You should go back to talking about how to make girls cum.

He did. A hurricane passed through the Philippines where I live on Christmas Eve. Had no power for 48 hours afterwards and had to spend part of it doing some Do Nothing Meditation to pass the time. https://edition.cnn.com/2019/12/26/asia/philippines-typhoon-phanfone-damage-intl-hnk/index.html -

I saw this video when it first came out. I just thought it'd be a good time to post it after @Leo Gura recently made a blog post about the Shapiro clip about Jon Lennon's 'Imagine'.

I did not say it was purposefully designed. The fact that it became that way naturally is not even a good thing. Also, that's a red herring. The specific way in which the system came to be is not what's relevant here I had a feeling you were going to say that. That's still sexist, though. You're engaging with the stereo-type of boys being dumb, low-brow neanderthals and girls being down-to-earth, pragmatic independent thinkers. The actual issue here is that the AAA game industry as a whole still appeals largely to a male audience so of course, most aspiring game devs who want to work in big game companies will be male.
