The fact that FB is bigger is actually a case for stronger and stricter moderation guidelines. The more mainstream a platform is, the more it has to cater to the mainstream public because the minds of far more people are at stake. Not even Fox News should tolerate QAnnon, why do you think there aren't many fringe conspiratorial voices on mainstream conservative news? You think everyone or at least the majority has to worry about potentially becoming censored by mainstream platform dictatorships. I don't think you realize most people just don't give a shit. The truth of the matter is is that most of their guidelines are set up so that only genuinely malicious actors are under threat of being banned. Doesn't mean that there aren't any false-positives or exaggerations from time to time, but the average user doesn't have to worry about getting unfairly banned even if they hold unpopular opinions. They're carefully set up in a way to only target those who are an actual threat to certain individuals or groups of people. But of course, people like you will never hesitate to defend these threats as if they do no harm whatsoever.

Perhaps mostly functional right now but maybe not for long since Covid symptoms can go bad really quickly and unexpectedly a few days after initial symptoms arise. We still don't actually know just how good his recovery is. We've barely been given the full picture to his condition and they've been very careful with his public appearances. They allegedly doctored a 4-min video of him speaking. If they did that, then we can't really trust that we can know for sure if Trump will be fine given how controlled the information is.

We're so focused on the fact that Trump got Covid that we forgot that he's been teasing a potential vaccine coming in a few weeks. It's obviously hogwash but now he has to make an additional claim that he will take this vaccine if he wants to keep the lie going.

I remember a certain section of conservatives and so-called 'enlightened centrists' shaming people for being happy that Boris Johnson got Covid. They'll probably do the same with Trump. I will say that at least Trump deserves it a heck a lot more than Johnson did.

I'd just like to throw in: The title 'AAA' is pretty pretentious anyway. It's a marketing buzzword for big-budget promotion on games that usually aren't even that good. It's no wonder that Ubisoft has even unironically started using the term 'AAAA games' when talking about it's own releases for the new upcoming console generation. It's just as dumb as it sounds. I'm not sure they realize 'AAAA' just sounds like screaming at this point.

I think with this specific person, the traumatic experiences they had including their depression and suicidal thoughts is an extra layer of problems that prevented them from gaining a level of cognitive ability equal to that of a Never Trumper which is really sad. That's not even to mention their level of emotional intelligence. . . I don't even know how I would even approach someone like this, much less try to convince them that they're being duped. Just out of curiosity, how would you handle someone like this?
