I'd really like ask that women what she thinks "The Swamp" is. Heck, even I haven't really looked into what "The Swamp" is yet and I reckon I'm significantly more educated than she is. -

For me, yes. . . that was my initial gut concern when I first learned about BLM protests months ago. 'Course, there will always be liberals with that attitude but you can't assume that of someone because they're making fun of conservatives spreading Covid. -

We have to define what counts and what doesn't count as "Forced Diversity" before we start throwing that term around. Sometimes reactionaries just label the existence of minority groups in media as 'Forced Diversity'. -

Are we all just going to ignore the popular vote now? Personally, I don't consider Trump to be the winner of the 2016 election because of this. Any MAGA person yelling fraud clearly only wants to win the unnecessary electoral college and doesn't care about upholding democracy. -

Tim Pool After Biden Won: "We always knew this was going to happen." That's a real quote, btw. I forgot where the clip was, though. -

Wording. Trumpists will complain if he's banned just for saying something stupid. It has to be something dangerous. Although come to think of it, they'll likely complain either way. -

If Biden wins, there will be a video, but still also a Picard facepalm at the collective stupidity of Americans. -

In American politics, that means Trump has the advantage. -
Looking forward to it. I've seen Science abused by ignorant devils on both sides for a long time. About time you abuse Science the proper way.

@Leo Gura It's happened to me before and I did make good progress for many weeks. But I've been back-sliding again for the past couple weeks or so so it was probably just an ego-backlash. I've aimed to re-commit to my positive pursuits yet again but overall, I have been making progress in the long-term. -

Just when I stayed up late last night playing video games until 11pm yesterday which I really shouldn't have done which led me to have terrible sleep and sleep deprivation and am still feeling pretty shitty from it as I write this. Guess I learned this lesson first-hand before you even made this thread. -
So Donald Trump recently tweeted out a satirical story that also happened to be written by the right-wing (somehow) which lead me to discover the right's version to sites like The Onion: The Babylon Bee. And it's. . . weird. https://babylonbee.com/news/twitter-shuts-down-entire-network-to-slow-spread-of-negative-biden-news The site is filled with your typical gas-lighting and misinformation but what ends up making it strange is that it apparently tries to count as clever "comedy". Yet the articles typically read like a right-winger ranting by sarcastically saying what he thinks his opposition believes in. Most of the articles I've read pretty much just re-hash the same talking points you hear from Trump-supporting and Anti-SJW types but with flat attempts at being funny and sarcastic. It's that juxtaposition between the cleverness that it's apparently trying to have with the sheer lack of imagination that I find makes the whole thing seem weird. The only thing truly funny about it is that they happened to accidentally fool their own favorite president with one of their own articles. Looking forward to see what kind of article they write about that.

He's more unhinged than usual here. Something's different. I suspect he's secretly upset that Trump is going to lose re-election despite him saying otherwise in his "news videos". If and when Trump loses, he'll have no problem pushing (more) narratives of fraudulent voting and lies about polling. -
