Look for spore-based probiotics as most probiotics get broken down via stomach acid and do nothing. Also eat a tablespoon of raw sauerkraut every day. That's superior to any probiotic you'll find in a supermarket.

Whenever I experiment with mushrooms (2-3grams), I can experience this terrible sense of paranoia. About a month ago I saw a helicopter followed by an aeroplane in the sky and somehow deceived myself to believe they were coming for me... Sounds funny in hindsight lol. I also felt like people were laughing at me like I was some sort of clown. Not pleasant at all. The other day I tried a low dose of 0.5 and the paranoia wasn't as bad however I still had a sense of uneasiness to myself. I'm starting to think that perhaps that these are issues that already exist in my psyche that the schrooms seem to expose? Can anybody relate or make sense of this?

Olly started following The Bulletproof Diet is the way!

After all my research into diet and biohacking, The Bulletproof Diet seems like the perfect diet to me. The best way to describe it would be a combination of paleo & veganism, however it takes the benefits of both. The diet consists of grass-fed meats from grass-fed animals, low-mercury fish, pastured eggs and safe plants that are low in anti-nutrients (oxalates/lectins/phytates/mycotoxins) To any of you who are into high performance or are suffering from auto-immunity or other health conditions (brain fog, digestive issues, fatigue) I would definitely recommend looking into it! Has anybody else tried the diet, and if so what was your experience?

Happy Sunday from England everyone! Let me know what your personality type is? And do you think the Myers Briggs test is a good way of learning more about ourselves and what career we should get into based on our values, interests and work environments For those curious, mine is an INFJ (the counsellor) I'm aware Jordan Peterson has created a personality exam too and was curious whether anybody has tried that too

@Espaim Usually the mind will think of the worst possible outcome, having to put up a fence all the time to hide your true self is draining. Once you let go of all the fake persona’s, it feels truly liberating.

@Hansu glad you’ve found what works for you
-
@LfcCharlie4 I think if you have the money you should try a 23andMe blood test to see what your genes say about you. I think coffee works great with 0 side effects for some people, however other people respond very negatively. Sometimes you gotta put all research aside and test what works for yourself.

Olly started following What’s everyone’s diet?!

I personally LOVE experimenting with different diets, and I’m very keen to know what diet everyone else is following? I’ve literally tried them all... vegan, paleo, keto, fasting... I’m currently interested in Weston A Price’s work on nutrition. He mentions the importance of organ meats, raw dairy, and eating sprouted grains to remove anti-nutrient content. p.s. I’m also a massive green tea and dark chocolate addict
-
@Preety_India Thank you! Just what my ego wanted to hear
-
100 percent agree! People need to realise organ meats are the most nutrient dense foods on the planet.
-
@LfcCharlie4 For me personally, Coffee makes me feel amazing initially but I always notice myself needing more and more of it to get that same ‘hit’. I also noticed a lot of skin issues and digestive issues after drinking coffee. All that aside, I do drink green tea and dark chocolate daily which both contain caffeine, but much less that coffee does. What’s amazing about green tea is that it contains an amino-acid called l-theanine which counteracts all the negative side effects of coffee.

Many studies show interval training is better for your overall health and puts less strain on your joints.
-
To minimise fat gain and feeling like absolute shit, I would reccomend eating high calorie foods like nuts and dark chocolate. Make sure you get enough protein also.

I feel that doing nothing and meditating will make my mind lazy and stupid. Is this the case or is it my ego talking?
