FoxFoxFox replied to Preetom's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Preetom Well... I'm just saying at some point the practice of self-inquiry (or whatever practice) itself will become the obstacle. Self-inquiry will take you as far as I-I, which is what you described as a non-localized awareness. You must build enough intensity within you and give up the practice and merge with awareness at the right time. No it's not impractical to talk about it. Without knowing it, you will keep staying with the "I-I". You must surrender instead. What is impractical is the belief that "I" cannot make that jump and that it has to come with a moment of grace. While technically true, the grace is going to come from within you anyways. If you have that belief in you, better to burn it away with the power of awareness (as you described). Why? Because you don't know how grace looks like. You are just expecting something magical to appear before you and grant you self-realization. But if you expect to appear in a particular form (even you yourself don't know what that from exactly is!), you will miss the mark when it happens. So how does one surrender if the statement is paradoxical? Well through intensity. By that I mean creating a highly intense longing, love, and devotion of liberation. By doing Kriya or kundalini yoga and literally imagining your energies rising from the base of the spine to the top of your head. That's just one example. -

@Preetom Well let me say this then: is there any identification? It should be really easy to answer. Like today people kept calling "my" name but I didn't respond because I didn't recognize at as my own. A total absence of identification. If you believe in an "I" that is not localized, you are still identifying with that I. I or "I am" is not the end of the search. Void is. You want to merge with pure being, not subtly objectify it as an "I". -
FoxFoxFox replied to Preetom's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Highest Just to clarify, there shouldn't even be the thought of "I am conscious", not of "I" nor of anything else. Literally. It's void - empty. No mind whatsoever. No realizations because that implies someone who is realizing - and that's duality. I understand the English language produces a lot of "I"s but it's worth mentioning -

@Preetom Well the thing is staying with the 'I' is not gonna make it vanish. It actually reinforces it because you are feeding it energy by validating its existence. You have to question it and keep showing yourself that you can't find it anywhere. The void, along with bliss are facets of the Self. They are its inherent qualities we could say. But most people will only get the void first. It's the recognition that nothing has an qualities of by itself. For example, look at a flower. Realize that all attributes of this flower are given to it by the mind. For example you could say it's a beautiful, red flower. But neither of those descriptions are actually properties of the flower, right? They are projections. If you continue exploring in that direction you realize that the world suddenly vanishes. Everything literally becomes one, because no distinctions are being projected. Moreover, the fact that you can even project things shows you that all these properties are actually properties of you. For example, beauty is not really a property of the flower, it's really YOUR beauty that gets projected. It's a recognition. It also continues to evolve and get deeper and deeper. That is why i sometimes talk about stages of enlightenment because the experience gets richer and richer. Don't get caught up in mind games. it really doesn't matter how you phrase sentences, or even if you use the first person nominative. These are all relative stuff. Try and recognize the void. -

@Preetom This is what I want to tell you specifically. In your signature you progressed from Gross I to I am then to the subtle I right? I assume that by "I" you mean to say that you believe you are an "I". That there is a sense within you that says you are someone or something. A being, even if has no body. Well what I told you earlier that you should step into the void is to dis-identify even with that subtlest of feelings of being a someone. There should never be any thought or feeling of being a someone arise within you. That is self-realization. Apologies if I misunderstand your situation. -

@Omni An identified butthurt ego would tell you to fuck off Be mindful of the effect your words have on other people, sometimes being harsh is necessary, and sometimes it's a projection of deep-seated anger. -
FoxFoxFox replied to Aakash's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Highest Huh. Well. No that's not what I'm saying. I literally had to be given an identity today and even that i've only consciously accepted as to be able to relate to other people. But people disagree with my experience so it MUST be false, right? -
FoxFoxFox replied to Aakash's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Highest Well let me ask you this since i think we have the same problem in conveying the message. Is this "I" you mention that is "Identity-less" a function of the English language, or are you saying that you literally are a someone who is identity-less? -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Zigzag Idiot The English language is based upon identification. Like I said, the words flow by themselves, if you want to put that way. There is no writer, only the appearance of one to the readers. He began his critique by saying that "You seem to believe" in what you say. I don't believe in anything. The "I" is in the mind. It appears out of nowhere and goes back into the void. This is 'my' experience. There is not even a witness. -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Serotoninluv Going back to the original (the first) edit you made. Yes I am comfortable with those edits, but "I" doesn't really occur within 'my' experience like before. That is to say, there is no personal ownership of experience. -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Serotoninluv Clearer! Point it out clearer! If you have to be verbose, then so be it. What do you mean am I comfortable with those edits? What is the form of identification? Who is identifying with what? -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@thesmileyone "You" needs to go out the window. Become conscious of the fact that at this very moment, it is not "you" who is typing on a keyboard. God happens, then your mind becomes aware of it and ascribes meaning to it. God's morality is not the same as ego's morality. Ego's morality is subjective. God's morality is based on the fact that it cannot make mistakes. At the end of the day, everything that I have said on this thread has been from a perspective adapted spontaneously by God. So is everyone else's. Who is moral here? Who is amoral? Who is right? Who is wrong? -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@thesmileyone Oh a ghost from the past. Yeah I laugh at my idiocy from then. I'll probably laugh at my current idiocy a year from now. -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@thesmileyone Huh? When did i claim i was enlightened? Now don't go and project your devilry on me you heathen Also, I was calling myself an idiot. Me, FoxFoxFox is an absolute idiot. -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@thesmileyone You are telling me that God, which has infinite potential, infinite capability, infinite intelligence, is incapable of being an idiot? Are you questioning the sanctity of Saint Paul? -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Serotoninluv Don't think! Just tell me what you want to tell me. That's a much better way of communicating in a text-based forum, no? There's no need for mind games. Say it as simply and as clearly as possible. I am not being sarcastic or anything. Quite the opposite. I am quite eager to understand the point you are trying to make. -

@David Hammond I see what you did there you devil. @Omni I am 100% arrogant -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Serotoninluv I would be 100% comfortable with calling myself a 100% ignorant idiot who has no understanding of what he is saying whatsoever. It does not matter. I am 100% comfortable with what you wrote. I am 100% comfortable with you continuing to paint a clearer and clearer picture until this (referring to FoxFoxFox) idiot understands. -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@David Hammond Big NO. Bliss is not a feeling. It is not an emotion. It is not anything that the ego could ever experience, because the ego is all about blocking out bliss. There is a reason they say: Sat, Cit, Ananda. That last word means bliss. It is an inherent quality of the Self like how wetness is a quality of water. The body doesn't feel bliss, the body feels like it's riding the wind or things like that. Bliss is recognition. It is energy experienced in a way that you have never experienced it before. It totally overwhelms your senses, but that is only the spanda aspect of the ananda. -

@thesmileyone Sorry to say, but God is a moral Savage. Just ask Tarrant. -

@David Hammond Well... what if i told you that the emptiness could be blissful? -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It is exactly this. -
FoxFoxFox replied to tecladocasio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Serotoninluv Let me put it this way. What you are doing by being a sensor of somebody else's enlightenment is really just projecting your own ignorance on someone else. I know this sounds hard, but i don't know of a softer way to say it. There is no ignorance. There is only God. Whether you are conscious of it or not, God carries on. ALL experiences are God's experience. None is better or worse. More enlightened or less. The depth of the experience is infinite! How could there be levels to it? This is not a race or competition. This is about sharing our experiences. I am a mirror, because I want to. If I wanted to be the ocean, i would go and learn Tai Chi. -

@tecladocasio But that' just... liek... your opinion dooode. Really. You see in me what you want to. Which is exactly what you should throw away.
