  1. Has anyone here ever seen Waking Life? If not, I highly recommend it to any person who is interested in metaphysics and consciousness!
  2. @Joshe Thank you so much! Free movies aren't always easy to come by.
  3. @Naam@Joshe What a read that was! The imagery was phenomenal.
  4. @billiesimon I personally don't feel any hatred for humanity. I mean when it comes to the people who do severe harm and suffering to others, and to the ones who are seriously ignorant & arrogant, it can be repulsive, and it does make me cringe and it deeply hurts me inside but I still can't define my feelings as hateful or cynical. I just believe every ending is followed by a new beginning and whether or not it is easy to accept, it is for the highest good. I'm not condoning destruction, chaos or vaporization among humans, but I do support the curiosity and fascination over what will come out of such a tremendous universal event. I'm not hoping for it, or wishing upon it, I'm simply just personally interested in the process and the outcome, this is a completely different thing. I would love to see the human race expand their minds and overall consciousness more than anything. But unfortunately, the majority of people on this planet are incredibly corrupt, lazy and simply lacking interest. There are high-consciousness people (such as on this forum, for example) who ARE making a huge difference, don't get me wrong. But if someone is not interested in anything or passionate about anything, I don't think someone is going to grow all that much let alone elevate the overall consciousness of mankind. It simply takes a shimmer of boldness and courage and fearlessness to even contemplate such questionable possibilities. I understand this is not easy for some people to do or to prepare themselves for. Especially if it's unknown or like some huge cosmic secret. I think it's a useful technique though, to train the mind not to fear anything that may or may not come our way, but to embrace it and accept all kinds of unknown possibilities, "good" or "bad." It's useful because if you require a relief, you know it's not happening now because there's no valid threat so you can always just reassure yourself like "Oh, it ain't the end of the world." Lol, so it's all good.
  5. @EvilAngel Yes!! This is the kind of shit I live for. <3 Synchronicity is one of the most exciting phenomenons. This has been happening to me frequently for as long I can remember, so of course when I discovered Jung and found the term of what I was experiencing, it was life changing. One unforgettable incident very recently occurred where I was outside explaining to someone how I seen a beautiful blue bird that morning, which is a rarity to see in my area and with the weather getting colder. Sure enough right at that very second of explanation, three of the bluest birds I've ever seen flew on the fence in front of us and just peacefully perched there gazing into our souls for a few seconds. It was so illuminating. <3 All I could do was revere and bask over the God in that.
  6. I look forward to this topic. Westboro Baptist Church is another one that makes me cringe. There has even been a good amount of dogma & deception within traditional Wiccan covens throughout the years as well. I know several mystic women and men personally who have had their fair share of negative experiences within covens, and myself as well, from merely observing within the community. This is one of many reasons why I would encourage someone to by all means study religion, but to practice spirituality and find their own path that works best for them and their highest good. Wicca is rather dogmatic. Witchcraft on the other hand, is great in the sense that it gives you the choice to either take a religious route or a more spiritual one, choosing not to worship one God, Goddess or deity, but to develop your own eclectic practice, integrating various methods & forms from different areas, expanding your perspectives. The very choice given in that one can practice the craft without falling under any religious demands or limitations, is what initially attracted me to it, but I've come to find that no matter what someone's religious or spiritual beliefs and practices are, or who they say they are, this does not necessarily change or neglect their psychology, behavior or neurosis. Just like if you're a practitioner of magic but you also lack empathy & compassion for others. If you have a negative, psychotic mentality on life, then sure enough you're going to practice "Black Magick" whether you realize you are intentionally or not. This is why it's best to practice these things when your head's on your shoulders and with clear awareness of your own emotions. Magic is very psychological and much like a mind game. In a way, we are all practitioners of magic everyday since magic is happening all around us, even in the little simple things. It's all about being alert and attentive to what's occurring around you. One could consider a glass of water, curing dehydration, to be a magical potion. Or when you're taking a walk at night and you see a beautiful owl, and suddenly an unopened fortune cookie makes an appearance in front of you and you've got yourself a significant message. (This synchronicity actually happened to me! There's nothing like random surprise Chinese aphorisms.) But it all depends on how you see "magic." When one curses, complains and bitches & moans, one is permeating that negative energy into the atmosphere, which to me is a subtle form of everyday "Black Magick." Think of politicians. When you are raising your vibration and consciousness, sending positive loving intentions outwards, this is simply white magic, in which the world could use some more of right now. @Leo Gura Have you ever heard of the cult "Children of God" during the late 1960s? I discovered it through a documentary on Narcissism a few years back. David Berg, the leader of the cult is considered to be the absolute archetype and paragon of a Narcissistic "leader." It's an interesting read.
  7. I just want to make clear though that I'm nothing special or some sort of sacred deity or whatever this is accessible to all and this channel has been experienced and explored by numerous musicians, artists, and writers, etc for centuries. It's super common I just don't think it's talked about enough. This is why I'm quite passionate about music & art therapy for spiritual transformation. It's not conventional in the field of healing and it's finally starting to progress more into a "profession" within the system of therapy which blows my mind.
  8. That is a very good question. There are moments of surrendering to it because within the flow I am not trying to control anything, I'm completely surrendering to the present and to the possibilities coming forth, lovingly open to receive, waiting to see what will spontaneously appear on its own, which is blissful and feels like second nature. For the most part it feels as though I am within an energetic protective circle or shield where all worry and anxiety banishes. Especially when there are instruments & pedals literally surrounding me forming a circle haha. But of course every artist has setbacks or blocks and other things that may hinder the process so sometimes instead I'll just have these adrenaline quick bursts of manic writing, leading up to a headache from focus or too much fixation or lack of patience. The flow is independent and disappears when its had enough, if I allow myself to get anxious or vulnerable or pushy with myself, I will scare the muse away, and invite the ego in. So I learned to never chase the muse but to simply show up, and catch it whenever I can.
  9. @Serotoninluv Absolutely, all the time. This space is Divine. For the majority of my time creating and being in that zone of pure consciousness and active presence has been done within the sacred space of loneliness and of having some sort of emotional or cathartic release which is part of replenishing. I value solitude for creative expression because it does tap you in. There is a major sense of spiritual communion & aid here. Music for me, is a spiritual practice. And I think anytime someone is in the process of creating anything they're passionate about, they are invoking the Muses and accessing source energy. Especially when done completely on their own, in this space, as one would do meditation. You're just experiencing this total magical process where you are completely calm and in the moment, just closing your eyes (as you would during meditation), your body is moving, your energy is raising, your voice is singing, it's just a steady flow of universal energy, of losing & finding yourself in it simultaneously, letting yourself melt into it, and when you don't try to force or control anything and let things happen naturally, otherworldly surprises start to come through. Ideas, visions, and suggestions come to the surface and hits you and suddenly you're just like, "Wait a second what the heck just happened?" Very similar sensations and results to when we are practicing many forms of meditation & manifestation.
  10. @Serotoninluv He best start psycho-analyzing himself before he proceeds to discuss everyone else's issues.
  11. For me personally I have grown to revere and glorify solitude for loneliness only guides you along the path of individuation, unlocks your imagination and stimulates your creative illumination. With the art of solitude comes introspection and centering yourself, learning to create a sense of sacred space and recharging and seeking your soul. It is the gateway towards healing, transformation and self-actualization. I think the ego wants us to fear being alone but eventually you realize there is nothing to fear but only to embrace and look forward to. So much can be heard in the silence and so much can be learned and found when you no longer fear or try to escape it. As far as other people not vibing with the way I see things, I'm too content at this point that simply them not understanding or not trying to understand doesn't change anything for me. Sometimes it's disappointing or disturbing when someone is on a completely different wavelength than you and your perspectives but even then, I feel the peace within and I feel the joy for my path so much that therefore all I can do is just shrug my shoulders now and carry on.
  12. Loove that movie <3 Waking Life is one of my favorites as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waking_Life I also really resonated with Slacker, another Richard Linklater film.
  13. @Serotoninluv Thank you! ? Seemingly not.
  14. It seems to me like this dude could use some serious self-investigation himself. This is preposterous. If we don't wear makeup, we're unsanitary and "boyish" but if we do wear makeup, we're too sexually provocative and "vulnerable." In my opinion, as a woman, we should be able to have the freedom of wearing makeup if it means connecting with our divine feminine, our confidence and personal power without having to walk on eggshells around a sexist's irrepressible libido & perversion. Personally I wear makeup because it reminds me of self-expression, as a woman, and utilizing my face as a canvas, if you will. I'm respecting my individuality as a female artist, not wearing makeup as a tool for seduction or to gain lustful attention. Instead of being degrading and scapegoating women even more, shaming us of our own feminine energy, men should be learning by now how to tune into and embrace their own feminine nature in order to connect and empathize with the psychological aspects of a woman and ask themselves "What does it feel like to be a woman?" Connect with the essence of androgyny without feeling discomfort or alienation within your gender due to societal judgments and misconceptions. Women shouldn't feel inappropriate or uncomfortable within ourselves as feminine creatures regardless of where we are simply because men can't control their masculine temptations. Learn to respectfully look into our eyes and our minds, not our cleavage. Find the beauty within. Don't be so one-track minded. We should feel comfortable in our own skin with or without makeup as ladies and express our femininity if we feel like it, without the societal toleration that comes with harassment and violation from untamed dogs. @Leo Gura @Serotoninluv As a woman, I just wanted to say I really appreciate the both of you grasping this as men (and as women.)
  15. @1x0 Thank you! It's just simply a topic I always enjoyed contemplating. I looked up tardigrades and I'm extremely intrigued.
  16. The goal is to eventually get as close to experiencing this as possible haha
  17. Are you prone to anxiety? Sometimes a "fiery" type gut sensation in the stomach can be synonymous for having "knots in the stomach." I would suggest doing meditations for balancing the solar plexus chakra, or try partaking in activities or hobbies that elevate & empower you.
  18. If our time of extinction arises it would be a super profound and exciting time for this infinite unstoppable universe. It would be the time and like Leo said, it would happen for the highest good of the universe. It would also shed some light and consideration among other creatures who don't get enough attention, nor do they ask for it, they just are. If this means our extinction is caused by something stupid like the emergence of artificial intelligence taking over emotional intelligence and us as mindless lost souls in mechanical aluminium skinned suits using built in iPhones on our arms then that would be a shame but I would still perceive this as an inevitable factor in human evolution leaning towards the eventual natural outcome of this event we've all been waiting for. We do have freewill though and if we are contributing as a species because astrologically speaking, we do have a powerful, spiritual connection to the universe and to the stars, then we can choose to be the best, loving, inquisitive creatures we possibly can within this existence and lifetime and not succumb to the foolish, ignorant traps of this era. But whenever it is our time I still think there's nothing we could do about it, it's indestructible and in a way that's beautiful to me. It shows how little control we think we have over everything. The universe is infinitely intelligent and has been way before we came along, and way beyond our illusory perceptions that mankind are highly developed creatures, in all actuality we require a major upgrade. If we need a few natural disasters or space threats to wake us up then it's a shame we would require such graphic (Hollywood kin) tragedies to reach collective consciousness/enlightenment. As a species we've been incredibly blessed with many moons and billions of years to spiritually evolve on this planet, you would think we would have reached it by now.
  19. @d0ornokey Another thing I think is important to mention is that once you've delivered your intentions and completed the visualization exercise, it's best to let it go and try not to contemplate whether or not it is working or whether or not it will work. Within patience & time, if it's not working, consider asking yourself if what you want is exactly what is best for you at this time. Sometimes you don't see results because it enables you to determine any likely reason as to why it will not manifest. This holds significant value because it encourages you to reevaluate or reconsider something that may not be for your highest good. It's wise to continue putting effort into the things you do as well and acting upon what you want, alongside your visualization practice, and avoid just beating around the bush waiting for something to blossom.
  20. @Leo Gura I know I just typed like a whole essay pretty much, automatic writing is getting a hold of me. But hence why I mentioned "Awakening."
  21. @1x0 So I've been fascinated with human extinction since I was a small child, always wondering if dinosaurs can become extinct so quickly why can't humans? I do see where you're coming from. For me personally, not to sound too dark-minded or resentful here, but if we *are* racing, or gradually making our way toward extinction, well that's just perfect. The inevitable and irrevocable reality of such a revolutionary event to me is also "perfect" in the sense that it would be a powerful, epic time, like *the* official, ultimate time right before our eyes, something that's been hypothesized & theorized for millennia and finally it's here and finally the whole truth just unfolds in front of everyone. Time has a strange synchronous way of allowing things to fall into place sometimes and letting nature "run its course." I think there's something perfect about having that level of detachment and acceptance and peaceful preparation for the possibility of such an event, and neither fearing it nor anticipating it. Whatever happens naturally, within the flow of time, happens and that's perfect for me because that would be an act of cosmic, divine intelligence. Also, it will go to show that no politician, scientist, no map, computer or meteorologist can conquer or alter such an inescapable occurrence, whether it's a divine response, leads to personal perspective and your thoughts on karma. To me it will go to prove just how microscopic we are as a species and how very little "factual power" and say and scientific understanding we think we have on everything, especially everything we seem to take for granted. When I think of ending times or human extinction I think of a collective Awakening, a new beginning, completion. Never underestimate the mysteries of the universe, and nature, it shouldn't be seen as a superstition when it's as real as it can get, it is natural, super. It isn't mechanical. And of course no one can foresee everything, not even statistics or science in my opinion for such an unpredictable event, the future is always changing and surprising us. I do think that the human species right now could use a big surprise if you ask me, our low-level consciousness and delusional way of thinking that somehow we are highly advanced does contribute and in some way or another, like most of the time when it comes to the ego, there will be consequences if the majority of humans do not commit to spiritual growth & evolution, or at least attempt it. You can say in a more metaphorical, mystical sense that nature has "a mind of its own" or seems to have coincidental, almost moody emotional-type reactions to our civilization, our environment, and our ego-system as if it is trying to get us to "see something", it's trying to catch our eye but it lies in the peripheral for most people, in the subconscious and shadows. Nature is mysterious, and often ineffable when you have personal direct experiences of synchronicity between you and the trees, animals, ground and sky, etc. Synchronicity is a beautiful phenomenon. There are plenty of metaphysical messages & answers from nature and things all around us everyday that one can receive, directly experience and tap into with an open, intuitive mind, you just have to look and listen and take it all in. It's not to say that nature literally has a mind like humans do. It's that nature is a huge fraction of this entire intelligence and of existence and we have a strong connection to it and to its intuitive intelligence. And it mirrors many things. This is why we shouldn't destroy it of course. We must learn to love and empathize with the Universe. I understand your idea of Mother Earth's revenge. Protect the environment. Go Green. Hug some trees, don't fear this c'mon. "Come on people now"
