  1. Amazing thread! I never liked animals until I started to self actualize. I don't cuddle so much with animals I see but I do respect them; they can teach us so much! I'm only eating plants and my gf like cats so we will have them around when we go back to South America. One cool thing about South America are all the street dogs. They love to hang around with you and even if they missing legs and eyes they don't seem depressed. I surely believe that street dogs are happier than the dogs living in apartments here in Europe!
  2. This forum in it's completeness is a very good view on how the spiritual path looks like. So many topics, questions and concerns. And people still believe they can get enlightened in one day and skip the hard parts This whole forum is a great way to show all the confusion during the path. This we should not forget and neither should we forget that all is well!!
  3. Would you believe him if he said "yes"? ???
  4. Of course, you can do! The question is: what game is the most fulfilling?
  5. Don't forget strong determination sitting. That's the core of the technique. 1 hour sittings and I highly recommend doing a 10 day retreat to get established in the technique.
  6. First rule when starting the self actualized journey: It's impossible to change other people.
  7. I agree even though I would have expressed it differently
  8. You should definitely do it! Share your stories with other skaters and skate together. If you take the step something Will definitely happen and it's almost guaranteed that it will be completely unexpected ?
  9. I like the idea but in this case they are talking about passive income. Passive means you can stay in bed all day and still make money
  10. The destination is the journey ? When we are looking for a goal we are looking in the future and that makes us totally forget about what is now. It's tricky buy the truth is... What you have right now such as friends, understanding, feelings and so on, is your entire life. Look around. This is your life and no matter where you go your life will still be there. What takes time is to accept the unsatisfying present moment and then miraculously it will change to something that fits you better. The expansive quality in you will never settle down ❤️
  11. Mods! How about making this the official dark room retreat thread?
  12. It is the beginning because you have to learn and develop everything again. But this time you do it from your deepest core. The journey doesn't end even if suffering does.
  13. Interesting What happens if you focus on the I thought?
  14. The surgery clearly showed you that it's not just about doing. Being is the start and the goal and all in between
  15. We need separation to live. And this experience is the most meaningful experience there is. And at the same time it doesn't matter but forgetting the part that it actually does matter can be self denial <3
  16. I don't think a strategy is necessary because you can't do anything else than follow your natural flow. Do yoga if you know that, otherwise just meditate and rest. The experience will be different than what you expect I believed
  17. Here we have some depth Spot on!
  18. You are right that action needs to be taken! At the same time it's impossible force actions and lifestyle without a deeper understanding of the nature. Meditation is not about growing yourself ❤️
  19. People are trying to describe the reality as awareness, consciousness, nothingness, emptiness, God or other things. Everything is consciousness the question is are you aware of that?
  20. There's no me is easy to see when you come out of it. Who am I? I am all this. Who is that? Who wants to know? Silence beautiful silence. And then we go on
  21. Dino D and Dodo Thank you very much for that ? Funny thing was I saw this question on Facebook around the same time! Someone asked "What is THAT?"
  22. How can one go deeper than enlightenment? No one can describe it but we surely have our own ways of describing it. That's right... Describe. I'm enjoying this without popcorn
  23. I accidentally became a teacher in Hatha yoga during my trip to India. It's hard to show anything via the forum but remember one thing: breathing is the whole game of yoga. Without deep inhalations and controlled exhalations, you can not expect any good results. Inhale maximum, hold the breath inside for 1-2 seconds and then slowly (as slow as possible) exhale completely. Exhalation is the natural relaxation which means you are stretching with your breath. Much love
