You guys just ain't getting it. I didn't realize there would be this must resistance on this forum. LOL. Try to follow: The devil comes up from hell. He does good deeds and improves everyone's lives. Does the devil deserve credit for that? Answer the question for yourself. Does the devil deserve credit for doing good deeds? If you answered NO, the devil should get no credit because he's the devil, then you understand what a devil is and are "biased towards good". If you answer YES, the devil should get credit where credit is due, then you fail to understand what the devil is and as a result, end up serving that which is bad. It really does come down to epistemic failure. Not a moral failure. Not a moral relativity. Because I will tell you right now, every single one of you are biased towards life, biased towards good. You are in favor of life. If someone slings a baby over a cliff, is that bad? Or do you want to play your moral relativity games? Yes it's bad, and you rightfully condemn it. The problem is, you lack the discernment to spot a devil and as a result, you can't even call it bad and are then vulnerable to being tricked into discussing the virtues and good intentions and good deeds of a devil. There is no getting out of this. If you want to talk about the good things a full-blown, malignant, narcissistic con artist has done, as part of a character analysis, you are lost. -

Hi @Wizardking I went through something similar several years ago. I heard about enlightenment and that you could totally immerse yourself into an unshakeable peaceful existence and be above all negativity and live from peace and love and I was like, man, this is it, I gotta have that! I probably spent 4 or 5 years half-assing things, exploring theory, teachings, practices, etc., and in that time, my pursuit and desire for enlightenment started to negatively impact my worldly affairs and mental health. Nothing serious but I was putting the cart before the horse. I was shirking other responsibilities and the unfulfilled desire was contributing to depression. Eventually, I just let go of the desire and when I did, over a span of years, reality would, in its own time, show me things, remind me of things, trigger crazy synchronicities, etc, all of which would contribute greatly to my current reality, and I didn't force any of it, although I think digesting audio books while going to sleep may have had a big impact, but I wasn't engaging in any practices. The main point is my spirituality blossomed and continues to do so without any effort on my part and it seems like I couldn't stop it even if I wanted to. I now know what spirituality is, I think in large part because I loosened my grip of wanting to know by maybe 90%. I'm becoming more and more spiritual without any conscious effort on my part. I'm still sort of "floating" in between the linear and non-linear but it seems inevitable that some day, I will enter fully into the non-linear and none of it will be my doing. To be honest, now that I know more about what it is, I would prefer it wait about 10 years before it comes because I need more time to get my worldly affairs in order before I go looking for the ultimate. You probably know about it but if not, David Hawkins has a good book on "Letting Go". -
Trump is saying the assassination attempt has changed him. He's saying he will start to unite instead of divide.

I have learned a ton from Leo but I discovered these notions on my own in my early 20's. I'm now 38. @questionreality The idea of moral relativity is only good insofar as it contributes to yourself or the greater good. It's good to be able to not hate a devil and it's good to exercise impartiality. After you exhaust all that, you might come back to a place where you realize there are things that actually matter. Or, you can stay in the world of moral relativity where life itself has no inherent value. You're free to be equally biased towards life and death because it's all "relative". It might be the case that you have uncritically clung to Leo's teachings of relativity. Not sure how I parroted Leo because this: "The issue is people cannot discern truth from falsehood. If you fail to recognize devilry, you will fail to condemn it.", is actually an idea I've been contemplating a few years now and the main teacher I picked it up from is David R. Hawkins. I don't recall Leo ever saying this but maybe he has. I am biased. Biased towards Truth. Biased against falsehood. Biased against that which is detrimental to life. Absolutely. But to call this "brainwashed" is fallacious. This is probably one of those topics where we won't find any common ground, so let's table it for later, shall we? -

@josemar When you say something like, if the devil only does good deeds, you reveal that you do not understand. The devil is inherently incapable of goodwill and good intentions. That's the point. That is why you would not call him virtuous for any amount of good he does. Edit: And of course, I thought it went without saying there is no actual devil entity being with horns. -

Owen has to say things like that to make it appear that he's balanced and mature. Unfortunately, this ridiculous tactic works on many people. Many Trump sympathizers say shit like "Yeah, he's a narcissist and a baby" and then shrug their shoulders and say something stupid like "Trump could have retired and lived out his life in luxury but he didn't because he's got a big heart". What is it with people thinking good and evil should be "balanced"? They think it's some sign of higher mind or deeper level of maturity if someone isn't biased AT ALL towards anything. Like Owen's take is superior because he's in the middle? The issue is people cannot discern truth from falsehood. If you fail to recognize devilry, you will fail to condemn it. -

@Gennadiy1981 Maybe this analogy can bring you some clarity: Imagine if the Devil himself rose from the depths of hell and started doing some good in the world and he won over the hearts and minds of half the population and those people were trying to tell the other half of the population that the Devil really isn't that bad and they should give him credit where credit is due. If you can see why, in this analogy, it would be absurd to discuss the virtues of the Devil, then you can understand why people like Leo only discuss Trump's devilry, but if you can't see it, then you just can't understand it. ONLY THOSE WHO DO NOT SEE THE ACTUAL REALITY WOULD DISCUSS THE VIRTUES OF DEVILRY. It's not a matter of bias so much as it is a matter of epistemic failure on the part of the population that extols the virtues of evil, and that failure itself is the very mechanism that allows for Trump to act out his devilry on the world stage, to the detriment of many. The masses cannot discern truth from falsehood. If they could, they'd see the devil and condemn it, but they can't, so the devil resides in their midst and they call it good. To be "biased towards that which is good" is something you want to be. It's a good thing! -

@Danioover9000 That's interesting! I'll definitely check it out when I get some time. Thanks. Have you ever watched House, MD? Destiny often mentions it, and you might notice "House, MD" popping up in his Youtube recommendations. This suggests he frequently searches for quotes or scenes from the show. This can answer SOO much about Destiny. Destiny likes House because House is: super-intelligent inherently curious and loves to solve puzzles, especially puzzles involving people wears his social outcast badge on his sleeve is always right avoids emotion at all costs as a defense mechanism favorite pastime is to shine a light on mankind's ignorance, evil, and hypocrisy Who does that sound like? To most people, House appears to be evil but he's actually a greater force for good than the ones around him combined. That's how Destiny sees himself and I think that's how he actually is. I think he's well-intentioned, albeit brash. It's like this: If you sit at a poker table for long enough, no matter how good your facade, it will eventually be seen through. It might take time to break through the facade but sooner or later, it always breaks and the true character is revealed. Same thing goes with observing Destiny or anyone else. You simply cannot hide your intentions or who you are over an extended period of time. -

@aurum True, true. Many of them are indeed religious. It would be funny if they weren't though. lol They might as well not be. -

@Karmadhi Yes, it's real. The politicians don't believe it but the citizens do. lol -

I don't have enough context to really comment but some of those clips in the tiktok montage were years apart. He plays with and manipulates ideas for a living. It would be messy. I'm sure he has argued in bad faith and for the sake of argumentation and not always from a moral ground but that's not enough for me to write him off. I haven't had any reads that he's at the core bad faith. I'll check out the Candace Owens thing though. -

@Raze When Destiny says something like "I don't know if there's anything wrong with ethnic cleansing", and stares at the ceiling, this is a mind that is not afraid to actually question things it's never questioned. If you really want to know why ethnic cleansing is bad, you have to see for yourself and try to poke holes in things to see if they're actually bad or not, rather than just claim they are. He makes an earnest attempt to actually consider the idea. You can see it in his movement and hear in his tonality that he's engaging with the question from a place of genuine curiosity because this is how INTPs operate. They question everything. Nothing is off limits. You can probably find a clip of him saying "IDK, is pedophilia really bad. What's so bad about it"? And the conformist mind will immediately condemn him for wanting to actually identify what is wrong with it. -

@Leo Gura😂100% , and his career is tied to that behavior so he's probably in it for the long haul but "makes a lot of sense at times", I don't think gives him enough credit. Think of how much light he's shined on ignorance. He's contributed greatly to the collective epistemology. He might not promote Truth of the same caliber as you but he does promote it, at least an aspect of it, and he's highly effective. -

@Danioover9000 Let's let this be the last we engage each other. I prefer more open-minded, good faith engagement. I actually am all for the original high teachings of Christ and all the major religions but you incorrectly assumed I was oblivious to those things and decided to be condescending to me and then others. You've done this at least 3 times today on this thread. Maybe take a break from the body language practice and look into power dynamics. It seems you like to scold others. I'll just go be salty and let you take the W. Let's end it now. No more juvenile argumentation. I won't respond. You got the W. -

@gambler I don't doubt Destiny has issues. But I can read people pretty well. Destiny is an INTP, like Leo. He has a high IQ. He's an A-type personality. He's definitely got some trauma and suppresses a lot. He fell into streaming and got lucky. His high IQ combined with his A-type personality and thirst for knowledge makes him a good candidate for debate and he discovered that. Thing about INTPs... they are socially awkward. Every single one of them. So when you say to me that a misunderstood INTP is "not normal in the head", it sounds EXACTLY like something my conformist sister would say... no offense. It could be that case that he uses laughter as a defense mechanism to protect himself from pain. Do you really know? I don't get the sense that Destiny is a bad character. Of course he chases attention and tries to be edgy. Mix that with social awkwardness and i think it's easy to get the wrong read, especially when he is being arrogant. It just rubs most people the wrong way but it's an emotional bias against him, not logical. From my view, he's got integrity because people without it don't do some of the things he does. I don't judge him for being fucked up by society. I think his intentions are good. That said, I don't know everything about him but I've watched his content for the past couple of years on YT. -

@Danioover9000 I actually don't have notifications on and am glad Yimpa shared the link, but thanks for the useless negativity. I'll consider your points on my bigotry and Christian phobias, if that's what they are. Obviously, I am bothered by current affairs but not sure you're assumptions are accurate. I'm in the the deep south where the Trump flags fly and the Christians hate you if you aren't one of them. Now that I think of it, I'm not intolerant of Christians. I'm intolerant of their evil. Forgive me for not having my shit together to the point where I can just be all cool like you. -

Thanks @Yimpa! @Danioover9000 - You sound like an absolute grouch. You're bothered that Yimpa shared a link and that I posted things I find striking? Maybe take a break or a nap or pray or whatever it is that you do to calm yourself. Or are you always like this? -

@mrPixel I'm actually glad Destiny is putting these thoughts out there. Everyone wants to act like "he's such a bad person", but what it is, is those people don't appreciate the gravity of the situation. Destiny does. Maybe he could temper his frustration but he's lashing out against evil, which I myself am not above. His courage is actually admirable IMO. -

@Something Funny I think a lot of people were undecided and I would guess that if someone were weighing Biden vs Trump, the scales have tipped towards Trump. Something about human psychology wanting to root for the "underdog". Also, a lot of Trump supporters were not even going to go out and vote this time around but now they're energized and will be coming to his defense, which means they will be doubling down on him again, thus making it more likely they will show up to vote. Just my 2 cents. -

I would add that Musk isn't that intelligent. He's above-average capable of manipulating abstractions but there's nothing of note or special about his cognitive abilities. He actually runs propaganda campaigns and floods the zone with stories and headlines that he is super intelligent. He pays a lot of money to spread the perception that he's super-intelligent but he's really not. He strung Paypal together with spaghetti code and got lucky with it. That was his jump-off point. From there, he used that money to buy Tesla and SpaceX and others and then made everyone think he was the one designing the satellites and rockets. He's good at business and marketing, but like Leo said, advances there have more to do with devilry than a profound intelligence. He's actually a dumbass who changed the price of a Tesla to 69,420, because he thinks 69 and 420 are hilarious. How intelligent could he be? 😂
