  1. @Consilience You brilliantly summarized meditation. Top-notch post.
  2. Just found this podcast the other day. First and foremost, this is NOT an anti-vaxx podcast. This is as objective as it gets and we really do need conscious podcasts like this. Please listen to this with an open mind. Topics include: - What is COVID exactly - What is mRNA - Role of science when it comes to viruses - Where and how vaccines should be used - Potential risks of vaccines - Vaccine injuries - Media, politics, censorship
  3. Every single person is the protagonist in their own story. More often than not, what you mistake for someone doing something against you or towards you, has absolutely nothing to do with you and everything to do with them.
  4. A tough, brawny samurai once approached a Zen master who was deep in meditation. Impatient and discourteous, the samurai demanded in his husky voice so accustomed to forceful yelling, “Tell me the nature of heaven and hell.” The Zen master opened his eyes, looked the samurai in the face, and replied with a certain scorn, “Why should I answer to a shabby, disgusting, despondent slob like you? A worm like you, do you think I should tell you anything? I can’t stand you. Get out of my sight. I have no time for silly questions.” The samurai could not bear these insults. Consumed by rage, he drew his sword and raised it to sever the master’s head at once. Looking straight into the samurai’s eyes, the Zen master tenderly declared, “That’s hell.” The samurai froze. He immediately understood that anger had him in its grip. His mind had just created his own hell—one filled with resentment, hatred, self-defense, and fury. He realized that he was so deep in his torment that he was ready to kill somebody. The samurai’s eyes filled with tears. Setting his sword aside, he put his palms together and obsequiously bowed in gratitude for this insight. The Zen master gently acknowledged with a delicate smile, “And that’s heaven.”
  5. Be decisive. The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who couldn't make a decision.
  6. Love is the only answer to every question. It is the only thing that will serve you in every situation. It is the route and the destination. It is medication, liberation and should be at the heart of and expression of your vocation.
  7. All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake up in the day to find it was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.
  8. Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous.
  9. You are already Enlightened. You need to meditate to clear away and dissolve the obstructions that are in the way to you experiencing your enlightenment.
  10. That's what Leo has been doing for many-many years now
  11. Note: This thread is about the relative domain. Have you ever noticed any changes in your relationships since you've been doing consciousness work? This insight just came to my recently. I thought back the times when I didn't do any spirituality/self-development. Others around me (especially people who are close to me) behaved quite differently. Now I do know that you see other people not the way they are, but the way you are, but still. I think there's more to that. Especially if you're awake, you tend to have a certain vibe/aura that influences other people. If you're close to them, they tend to become more relaxed, more concious and more balanced. That's the reason why I finally understood Ramana's classic quote about self-realization: "Your own Self-Realization is the greatest service you can render the world."
  12. @omar30 Exactly. It is truly amazing. @Gesundheit2 Well, things haven't changed much in that area unfortunately. If I started going around telling people that "Hey, wake up, you're God, I'm God, everything is Love, everything's God", I'd end up in an insane asylum or even killed. @Proserpina That's why you need healthy boundaries. It's really important in the relative domain.
  13. Confusion, distortion, hopelessness, despair.
  14. @Raptorsin7 Yeah, raising consciousness are not really the best expression, but I think he meant that you need to make effort to clear away confusion, distortion and basically wake up from egoic consciousness.
  15. We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.
  16. Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable.
  17. The more you try to silence your mind, the noiser it is.
  18. You can't describe the Absolute and yet everything you say about it is Absolute.
  19. Got inspired and challanged myself that I'm gonna meditate 2 hours as well everyday this week. After that, we'll see
  20. @Tyler Durden Yeah, that's why I said that the raw perception remains, so the shape, color and sound of the 'other person' are perceived.
  21. What's more, when you speak to somebody in person, consciousness imagines you and the other person at the same time. The raw perception is there (shapes, sounds, colors, etc), but the rest is imagination.
  22. Putting people on a pedestal can be a huge trap. The fact that somebody has a fancy green user name on a forum and "seems enlightened" shouldn't make you feel discouraged. They're not better or worse than you. They're not ahead of you. This is not a race. Realize that everybody has a unique path. If you want to awaken with all your heart, you will. Don't give in to your limiting beliefs and stories about genetics and talent.
