  1. Well, if you didn't 'have' awareness when you're asleep, then you wouldn't wake up to your morning alarm.
  2. @AtheisticNonduality I've been learning this exact song on bass and I still can't get it right. It's hard as fuck This is the Chris#2 (bassist of the band) playing this track: https://www.facebook.com/20693410452/videos/153010249366495
  3. Oh, and how could I forget. Anti-Flag. That band is as political as it gets.
  4. Two bands came to my mind who tackle political/social issues quite a lot: Boysetsfire Rise Against
  5. Where's the boundary between my inner world (thoughts, emotions, etc) and the outer world (perceptions, physical objects)?
  6. If I'm being honest, I'm quite surprised by the posts in this thread. 95% of this forum heavily supports the masks, vaccines and the other (usually totally unnecessary) measurements. And now, this thread basically reflects the complete opposite.
  7. @flume Sure, feel free to do so! What you resist, persists.
  8. It's astounding that media is still the best way to control people.
  9. Now this is a much-much better and healthier approach than the usual immature 'hating the ego and trying to get rid of it' stuff. Well said.
  10. Spot on I read his book and he had some seriously fucked up experiences on N2O.
  11. Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.
  12. Every time I judge someone else, I reveal an unhealed part of myself.
  13. @Natasha Currently going through a juicy ego backlash due to my increased shadow work practises lately, so I thought it was appropriate to post these memes
  14. He was a genius.
  15. Great idea! This has been posted a few times, but it definitely belongs here:
  16. @Shunyata You're welcome and good luck!
  17. @Shunyata It does. I've been working with my shadow seriously in the last few weeks and I can definitely see some progress. I learned the necessary techniques from the book Existential Kink by Carolyn Elliott.
  18. I completely agree with @tsuki here. If you consider your shadow as your enemy who has to be eliminated, well, that's just more ego. You can fight as much as you want, but it's gonna be a never-ending struggle. A different (and a truly effective) approach would be showing total acceptance and even love to your shadowy parts.
  19. @allislove *drops mic* Excellent quote!
