"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it."-Muhammad Ali

Of course see how the course suits you. Be aware of how fast you assimilate the concepts into your psyche. For you it could mean to get most out of the course you do it over a year, or over 2 weeks.

I emailed him and he said a month is the recommended time

@Sri McDonald Trump Maharaj @Arik @Emerald Wilkins would be cool if you join

Anyone who is familiar with George Leonards concept of mastery find that in mediation you hit the plateaus he talks about in your strong determination sits. Where you are meditating and for a certain amount of time ie say a week you don't notice any results.

Would you guys say a principle of self actualisation is that you just don't care about the problem you were trying to fix in the first place. For example, say you were getting neurotic about how you want more relationships and to get better with the opposite sex. But the actualised human being would care weather he has a good reputation with the opposite sex and it wont bother him if he isn't getting any. Or for example, you are shy and anxious around other people. A self actualised person wont care that he is shy or the most popular and just accept what is.

Ok this blew my mind. I'll attach a picture of what I was doing. Basically out of the shower today was throwing my toothbrush and trying to land it in the blue cup. I did about 10 throws in total. The first couple of throws I didnt get it in. Then after I decided, "you know what let me close my eyes and visualise the whole action of my throw and visualise the tooth brush landing into the cup with the head upright". Then it went in. I was like ok that was fluky. So the next flow I didn't visualise and it didn't go in. Then I did the visualisation after and it fucking went in perfectly again!!!! I did this until I visualised 4 throws in total and all 4 went in!!! I was in so much shock. Like mouth wide open and swearing in ore. Fucking hell man the power of visualisations! The ones I didn't visualise didn't go in.

Yeah same. I remember a couple of years ago I used to hate the photos. Would literally make me sick to the bone. When Leo realised his thought video I went back to it, and it worked. I can look at them for what they are

with self inquiry expect your problems to exacerbate occasionally. Do not judge it but accept it. It is because with self inquiry you unravel the layers of the ego, but it likes to fight back. Don't resist this but acknowledge the power within it because it is very powerful and has been able to control you life up until now, and no "spiritual" remedy can stop it in its wake. I got this from Matt Khan. Here is the video. I very much recommend you watch it!!

also don't expect yourself to cure it over night. It is a long process. You will get to the stage where you are shy but this time perfectly ok with it. Then you can slowly build from there. All the problems are not due to the bullies and the external world. They are down to you. You are creating the problem which is making you afraid that the past incidents in your life will occur again. The bullies aren't the issue, it is your mind. Defiantly start a meditation practice to see this. Cut the victim mentality out and take 100% responsibility. When i started this, shifts began to occur within me.

I have been in similar situations. The things that have worked for me are mediation as this creates a mind shift which is detachment from outcome. So basically begin not caring what happens to you in the social situations and wont care if people embarrass you. Things will start to bounce of you. So develop a mediation habit. Also, I have started contemplation and introspection in front of a mirror. Its basically like you are you own therapist. This has been hugely comforting for me because I give myself self assurance that I have got my back no matter what. I ask deep questions to myself, and then speeches just come out without thinking of why sub consciously you feel that way. It makes you aware of the root of your problems. Go in nature and just talk to yourself. You get to know yourself on a deeper level. Also, I would hugely urge you to be honest at all cost. This was the number one root of my social anxiety. And keep loving your self constantly. Be ok with you mistakes and just accept yourself. If you don't, no one else will!!

@Leo Gura How about a pitch for The Ultimate Enlightenment Course haha
-
Cool stuff, I just bought it and wondering which is the most effective way to take the course. Which way did you do it? Did you take the course all in one go or do like a video a day? I just finished my exams so got a lot of free time now.
-
@Leo Gura If you discovered enlightenment in college how different would you life be now?
-
How did you personally find the course? Did you discover your life purpose?
-
This was my childhood hero, I look to him for great inspiration because he did what was meaningful to him and his whole individuality was based on his purpose. He would die for his passion and in fact lived a 100 lives in order to get the message of animal conservation across. Anyone struggle to see maintain their passion or get sidetracked by pettiness. Look to Steve as a guide to see how powerful you life can be. May he rest in peace x

For people doing the thought flattening technique to gain mindfulness over thoughts. When you don't have a diary present do you think its effective to do the process in your mind mentally. Ie say the thought you became aware of. Then unreal the content of the thought. Then describe what it literally is in your mind.
-
@Naviy Yeah you are right. I was becoming a lot more aware of my thoughts when writing and flattening them in the diary. Over the past couple weeks is have been trying to do them in my mind be easily forget now.
