  1. There's no "me" so how can it have any views?
  2. Just because masculinity is an ego concept it doesn't mean it doesnt affect the reality. So what the social roles are fake? They are still there, whether you feel enlightened or not.
  3. Because of the same reason why most of the serious leaders in history were men. Because men are the leading animal. It doesn't mean however that women are less awakend as a whole by any means.
  4. An immensely interesting perspective the Soviets (that is extreme materialists) had on the consciousness movement during the Cold War. Makes you think, to say the least. The link is set on the time the topic appears (namely 49:55), nevertheless I recommend the whole documentary.
