I live in Brazil, Bolsonaro has lost the elections to LULA, My mother changed in the last years, today i was talking to her, about the blockade made by the federal police (which became an instrument of bolsonaro's fascism) on the highways of northeastern Brazil, where President Lula has a vast majority of votes. They were being prevented from voting by corrupt police forces. Now we have a xenophobic movement happening within Brazilian regions. Bolsonaro won by a small margin in all regions except the northeast, where he took a heavy defeat that gave Lula the victory. People from the south of Brazil are racist towards their northeastern compatriots, saying that the states that generate most of the GDP are right wingers. this problem is likely to get worse. She simply defends the case with excuses and lies, being racist towards northeastern compatriots. The level of blindness she reached scared me, as if Bolsonaro was the savior of the homeland. Be careful, Bolsonaro/Trump ideologies cause an impotence to reason and see the rottenness of their policies. i dont know what else to say to her, do you guys have any suggestions ?

Hey, have a nice day. I like doing it on weekends, alone to enjoy some good music or Watch a movie. I would like to know if this could effect my consciousness practices . ( I meditate everyday , read 1 book per mouth , just started kriya Yoga ). I am trying to improve my self-confidence as well, being more myself and accepting me. I used to be a very shy person. To be honest this has been a habit to me lately. I'm not addict to it, just enjoy it. Should i Drop this ?

And its is not a work i dont like, it is just that my dream life would be as a musician, i play the drums since i was a kid, and i am pretty god at it. I am willing to become a master. I live in Brazil. Drug cartels have great power here, even inside the government. This would be reduced, and more money will be raised to society But i can't see this working well in practice. If our police, hospitals, schools doesn't work properly, how could it. What do you guys think ?

look at this stage 4 music sorry for the english...

Great ! I play the drums, trying to make it for a living. It is my LP. This is very very comom in drumming, usually people think more notes is better, playing super fast stuff. This could resonate with orange stage in the spiral, "be the best ever" , aproaching the instrument like a sport. This " tier 2 " understanding of music is seen in the greatest. They aproach music from a creative, unic and effortless mentality. But the paradox is that you cannot jump stages . A great great pianist, who plays 1 single note in a marvelous way, must overcome the brute force fase, is the time when you grow your requisite variety, afterwards you can choose to play a note or 2000.

I write every morning in my finger the phrase: This too shall pass. When i see it throughout the day, It creates like an inner space, where you dont care about what happens, just live as the observer. I used to care tooo much, always in fear of what would happen if ... Mindfullness work helps alot too. Be aware of your body when this feelings arise. Eckart Tolle says, make this "negative emotion" be your vehicle to the present moment. The devil must work in shadows. Shine the light of awareness. Be the observer. Love your current experience.

In my experience it comes down to this : We live in a comunity. You cannot avoid socialize for the rest of your life. It is a skill required for a good life. So step outside of your confort zone sooner rather than later. It looks like you are taking things to seriously. Aknowledge that you are going to die. Go experience life. I would suggest you to try being more present in the moment. True self-confidence comes from that awareness of the present moment. I used to be shy as fuc*, with all sorts of paranoia when speaking in public. Today this doesnt bother me anymore. What has been helping me : - Meditation ( Helps to build that awareness and quiet down the monkey mind.) - Cold Showers ( Man this is so Underrated, it is an awesome habit to step outside your confort zone.) - Visualizations ( Imagine the best version of yourself every day. this is the law of attraction. If you imagine shitty stuff, that's what you gonna atract to your life. Leo has a great video on that one.) - Go Socialize ( Just go talk to people, i used to challenge myself like these " I have to say good morning to every person i pass on the street today". ) - Be gratefull for life and nurture love for yourself. ( I see that reclusive persons cannot share love to others beacuse they do not love theirselves in first place. Accept yourself as you are. You are a true creation of GOD. And their is nothing you can do about it to change it. So it is your option to live a happy life or to live swimming against the tide. Leo also done a great video with visualization exercise on this one.) Some freakyin good Books if you are trully interest in changing your mindset: - The Power of Now ( Eckhart Tolle ) - Four agreements ( Don miguel ruiz ) - The Courage to Be Desliked ( Fumitake Koga e Ichiro Kishimi) - Psycocybernetics ( Maxwell Maltz ) Best of luck. Enjoy your life. -

In my experience, weed tends to get very addictive. Also my monkey mind sky rocket with it. I would recommend Stronger psychedelics used in a correct way. Best of Luck. -

AudibleLocket replied to Rasheed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Rasheed I usually meditate first thing in the morning, 30 min session, empty stomach. In my experience this "Tranquility" varies ALOT. Somedays the mind is very sharp, you can see toughts arising. It is easy to let go. But some sessions like today the mind gets veery tricky, dificult to percieve a tought as a tought and not as myself. (I've smoke some weed yesterday , this deffenently lowers the quality of next day(S) meditation) I think i get what you are saying about "Tranquility". That felling after long quality sessions, serene and peacefull awareness. You have to improve the quality of your sits. Some stuff that has been helping me : Choose a technique and do IT (Even if is do nothing, you have to make it clear), Empty stomach meditation, eat quality foods, Quiet room (I like to use earplugs), i read a book that recommend meditation at the sunrise and sunset hours (People normally gets more calm in those periods). And reduce bad habits (Porn, sugar, cafeine, drugs, TV, Hot showers ... ) -
Hello guys, I Was thinking about this phrase i saw somewere in this forum: @cetus56 "Be a chamelion blending in with your enviroment but not effected by it" This correlate to the idea of staying relax in your body. "A man should stand on his own two feet" - Marcus Aurelius Emperor But the most joyfull instants in life is when your are fully immerse into the experience, There is not a SELF in the moment. What state of mind is "preferable" or "Ideal" to be in ? Is balance key in this too ? What you guys think

I see my tattoos as pieces of ART. Its is not to posses meaning or to make any "sense" . I just feel pleased when i admire them. The same as a good paint, or as a good piece of music. Art does not mean to make sense, but to awake emotions. -
AudibleLocket replied to Rasheed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Rasheed In my personal experience, i wouldn't recommend trying to reach some feeling during meditation. Just accept the moment as it is. If there is a happy felling, that's great ! If there is a "Bad" felling, that's fine too, just accept it in a mindfull way. The key is not to identify yourself with this emotions, but as the observer, the awareness. -
If you dont want to be apart of it, somebody will. In these dark times humanity needs conscious people to open their eyes to society at large. LEO, after your mini-series, didn't a will arouse in you in that sense? You speak of these matter with great joy in your eyes .
