  1. Hahahahaha They burnt his effigies this time during Dussehra in Punjab. Uniting the country my ass.
  2. I am feeling sick in my stomach seeing the results come in. I am gon' have to reconsider my whole relationship with society and people after this.
  3. You have a mental health crisis in your country I am telling you.
  4. Is anyone else surprised at the level stupidity or is it just me? I didn't know you had so much stupid in USA man. I was underestimating stupidity. I will never criticize the left again, we have a bigger problem at hand.
  5. @Girzo How bad is the right-wing in Poland? Herd it's really bad, my Polish friend was literally a racist Trump supporter.
  6. Indians are too emotional to admit any criticism of their country or Modi, or to even self-reflect. It's especially bad for hardcore Hindus. You're automatically indoctrinated into fascism at birth and it takes like 5 years to fully leave that mindset and that too if you're willing. No point arguing with someone who thinks Modi is anything but a fascist, they're simply ignoring facts and coming from an emotional place.
  7. Obviously you're not affected. When he spreads conspiracies like birtherism and calls to ban Islam he's not targeting your community.
  8. What needs to be realized is that the mind is limited and what you call yourself is limited. So you can still trust the mind, logic, and rationality but always remember that they are limited. You can make the mind less limited by learning and growing, but since it's a finite entity, it will always be limited. Regarding making practical decisions and deciding whether you like your choice or not, I like to see it as different parts of my ego trying to survive. So, for example, maybe, part of you wants to do law, part of you wants to be lazy, and part of you wants to do science. Now, which self you want to survive as is your arbitrary decision. Ask your self what values you hold and pursue your (higher self/ ideal). So if you say, you want to do law because you want to help people, then the part of you that wants to pursue law is the higher self and the part that wants to be lazy is the self that will have to die. There is no right/wrong answer here, this is where the creativity of the universe comes in, you have the freedom to have any set of values and pursue anything. Growing your awareness/consciousness will grow your intuition which will reveal more biases from external influences and help you see reality more clearly. So right now you have this realization that your mind is influenced by external factors, this is an insight that you have because you have a certain degree of awareness and intuition. If you increase your intuition, maybe you can realize more of such things. Intuition is not a logical or rational thing, you have an intuition about something and you just know it, it requires no proof. So for example, people intuitively know how to use logic, logic is part of intuition. Use your intuition to make practical decisions and keep increasing your awareness to better that intuition. Lastly, I may add that pursuing your passion and what you like may not necessarily translate to you liking your job. Focusing on working right instead of finding the right work, may be an important aspect too. Building interest, curiosity, and passion slowly overtime may be the answer. Leo has good books on practical career advice in his booklist.
  9. Anti-abortion and ending (illegal) immigration are two big reasons why people vote for Trump. Pro-lifers must be voting in large numbers due to the appointment of Amy Coney Barret.
  10. Didn’t know so many Americans supported Trump man, makes me look at the US in a different light. Like all the counties in some states voted Republican. What are they, stupid.
  11. It seems most of the US is right wing except some urban centres.
  12. This is a good video about different ways of predicting the election. At the 8:23 mark, it goes into correlative portents, which looks like a stage purple way of knowing. JJ is also my favourite YouTuber, love his style and art.
  13. That’s crazy. Is it just a coincidence or is it because Ohio has more electoral votes?
  14. I’m sure there are women out there who find Eckart Tolle and Rupert Spira “attractive”. Right women?
  15. From my understanding women who perform well are stable people.
  16. But Leo, this interferes with being mindful. Being mindful naturally makes me a stable non-emotional person. And not to mention I need to be a stable person to do well in the real world. Can’t have all these ups and downs and still perform well at work.
  17. As a guy I hate that. I can’t even stand drama on the screen let alone my life. Equanimity over emotions for me.
  18. This is not surprising to me. New agers believe in stuff they have no direct experience with all the time. Do you think they have verified chakras, energy, astrology, voodoo, numerology, and all such things? No, they project and believe in such things. It’s no surprise they believe in COVID-19 conspiracy theories. They have made an identity out of being contrarians and into gimmicky hippie things. They use spirituality to solve their dysfunctions, that’s why it puts them in a comfort zone of comfortable beliefs and ideas. Spirituality must be pursued with positive motivation, otherwise it (usually) leads to escapism.
  19. OMG, Logan Paul, Mike Tyson, and now the Ice Man!! Sadhguru is breaking boundaries! So proud of him despite my political disagreement, but then again, what do I really know?
  20. I mean some of you complaining have acted like trolls yourself, it's not like you yourselves are some pure beings. Some of you even opposed Drewknows banning when he clearly violated forum rules. Just sayin. It feels like there's an unofficial group here and the members got each other's backs... There is implicit pressure to not question and challenge their ideas...
