  1. Majority of poor voted for Trump and still support the ideology he represents. https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2018/08/09/an-examination-of-the-2016-electorate-based-on-validated-voters/ I mean this should be fairly obvious right? I remember my mom telling me about my aunt’s maid when she visited India. She didn’t understand the concept of countries. I remember the maid at my home didn’t know that cartoons were not real. It’s not their fault. It’s not just wealth that’s passed down, it’s also knowledge, culture, skills, etc. The upper middle and the middle class might be more intelligent than the upper class though, their jobs require them to be smart.
  2. It’s something every Indian goes through so it’s not that bad I guess, besides my skin’s not super dark and I’m not a girl, it’s harder for girls. You know, people talk about dystopian future in developed world, but some places are already dystopian in the present.
  3. There is a lot of anti-black racism and colorism in India too. If you walk up to somebody and call them “black” in India it would be considered an insult. I didn’t even know dark skin could be considered beautiful until I was introduced to American culture when I was 12-13. The idea of beauty is intertwined with whiteness there. I grew up with racist fairness cream commercials, parents telling me not to go out because I would become “black”, racist song lyrics, and taunts from relatives about how dark my skin was getting. Suffice is to say, there are many Indians in America with this type of thinking and Indians are dark skinned so they in a sense hate their own skin. This was very damaging and hard to get over growing up.
  4. Attraction is relative.
  5. @mandyjw What do think about this? This is good flirting according to me, both by Bruno and Miranda.
  6. Idk if assertiveness is even needed here. Cutting people off, changing subjects, this stuff’s pretty annoying. Do you find his accent hot? I as a guy don’t. I think the women were already head over heels when they say him. Idk it’s like really annoying to me, I wouldn’t want to be around someone who doesn’t let me speak or is this nonsensical.
  7. @Leo Gura He comes across as annoying to me. Maybe it’s just me.
  8. Well, it does not work like you have experienced. I don't want to go into the details, it's complicated, but the short answer is it just does not. Do it once and forget about it. The effects of it will slowly trickle down into everyday life. And make sure you're getting adequate rest and work to reduce the energy you get from meditation. Neurosis might be because of excess of energy from meditation like @Artsu pointed out, make sure to expend it.
  9. Do you feel terrible during the 20 minutes or throughout the day? If you feel terrible during meditation then it is normal, you need to let go more. Try to create a more comfortable atmosphere when meditating and get everything done before you start meditating to meditate stress free. If you feel terrible throughout the day, then it’s normal too. It’s homeostasis, you want to go back to being asleep, meditation is waking you up but your mind and body is resisting. Let yourself relax, engage in relaxing activities throughout the day but don’t overdo do it. Meditation is not really a relaxing activity. Your neuroticism might be because of not having a proper source of relaxation. It may also be because you’re trying to meditate throughout the day or trying to “be” all the time. Don’t meditate throughout the day, it won’t work. It’s counterproductive to do it. You cannot be meditative all the time, especially in today’s environment.
  10. I guess it only makes sense. But I'm thinking how can a conscious person mass large amounts of wealth without turning into a devil? I guess they would have to do it gently, for a more "conscious" desire? Like doing only the damage that's necessary. Gentle living. Hahaha... I think I'm a "feminine" guy. I like Jesus and Buddha's masculinity. They were men too you know. Imagine Jesus flaunting his muscles Lol. @Moon Looks aren't that important to me tbh, I have porn for that. I like intelligent and deep women, you know what I mean . So she can put me under her spell and rape me? Lol ... wait, come to think of it, that might be good sex for submissive feminine me.
  11. @Leo Gura Leo you gotta make a video about leadership at different stages man. It seems that being an asshole douche bag really pays of in stages red, blue, and orange, and in our society. @Don Wei Idk but isn't it suppose to be about inner game and being authentic? I would never change my core personality for anyone. All the women can go fuck themselves. I wouldn't wanna date a woman who's into 'psychopathic', 'dangerous' men anyway.
  12. I'll try answering it somewhat seriously: Personality: someone who is balanced. I want a smart, intelligent woman, preferably someone who is smarter than me. This is the most important thing for me. Somebody who reads a lot and values understanding like me. A moderately driven person, not somebody whose entire life is consumed by ambitions, but they should has goals. Someone interested in spirituality and deeper aspects of life. Someone who is not too extroverted because I'm not extroverted. I don't care too much about humor. Someone who is calm like me or calmer. Doesn't get too angry. Someone who doesn't have too many fluctuations in their mood. Physicality: I don't really care about looks. Someone who is average and not unhealthy would be perfect. Maybe I could convince them to work on their health. Preferably I want someone who doesn't care about that shallow stuff because chances are that if they care about that stuff they are quite hedonistic/materialistic. Maybe someone modest, I like modest, there is something sobering and serene about it. No tattoos preferably. Additionally, I want someone who can understand me and my family. Someone who is comfortable in my culture so maybe someone from within my language group or culture. Someone who is loyal, this is big too. Someone who is open minded to adopting a child or not having a child. Someone who likes creativity and exploration. Someone who can cook will be good too. Someone who's not wedded to political ideas or religious beliefs. This is important too. Someone who's not too moralistic.
  13. I haven’t read all of them but the one about colleges being left indoctrination centres had some good discussions imo, but it got side tracked by some guys talking about blm or something. Someone was saying open dialogue was not the way to go and it didn’t work in the past, I disagree because I think if you look at the history we became more and more progressive with open dialogue but since around 2014 campuses have become more PC and have less open dialogue which is not good imo. Well, it’s now locked so I can’t respond to them but it would be a good discussion. The trans people thread has good posts too. Most of the stuff is pretty civil here. All my friends are busy sharing multiple posts about BLM and other issues since like March Lol.... Well you kind of did suggest that by saying,
  14. Just maybe, I know it sounds crazy, but maybe, criticizing progressives, universities students, and SJWs doesn’t automatically mean you support Trump or are a conservative. I criticize the left because most people here already understand the right wing is less developed ?‍♂️.
  15. ??? I don’t even disagree with you. The title says sexual misconduct, the video is about sexual misconduct. Leo is talking about rape which is completely off.
  16. Rape is different from sexual misconduct. We can have a robust conversation about useless gender identities but not about men’s issues.
  17. Yes but they enable such behaviour, just like right wingers enable Trump. I think the left wing needs to introspect why they are not able to sell their ideas to people instead of calling everyone a fascist. The rise of Trump is a failure of the left as well. The temptation is real but no thanks.
  18. ... who can’t take a joke, self-righteous, always trying to guilt you, always getting offended, don’t work hard, toxic ideas of equality... I guess you could say they are more developed than right wingers and what not. But man are these fucking feminists annoying. I met some who get offended if by the phrases “good girl” and “karma is a bitch”.
  19. Oh yes, you’re right. I guess we could say authoritarianism then.
  20. Well, a lot of my arguments started when people attack me or when they misunderstand my position. It’s usually me trying to “explain” what I meant or me getting angry and responding to personal attacks. One mistake I make is thinking I’m engaging in a discussion when I’m actually engaging in an argument with a closed minded person.
  21. That’s exactly what a left winger would say. No it doesn’t. Sure, there are some authoritarians on the right but as a whole it’s not the same as Nazism. Although it’s in the same boat you could say. I would say most conservatives in USA are annoyed by feminist PC culture and want less immigrants, not necessarily fascist demands. That’s why perspective is important. If you want Nazi like populism you should look at India. My point was fascism can arise from left or right populism, not just from the right as Vaush said.
  22. Yes. Left populism can dissolve into fascism too. Did it not happen in Soviet Union, French Revolution, China, and many more? These are the things JP and others constantly criticize the left for.
  23. I'm not sure if this is against forum guidelines. Bret Weinstein is talking about it so I think this is mainstream now. https://www.minervanett.no/corona/the-most-logical-explanation-is-that-it-comes-from-a-laboratory/361860?fbclid=IwAR3ZFrO-I4WkxkoVx7E-OTbWDr72YBesfJeQhCXuz3FyO4WYWDv6l8al_Xc Would love to hear from those who are knowledgeable about this topic.
