✅ Carpet the driver's cabin floor. I do have enough carpet but probably not enough glue ( just one can left) - i had enough glue for 95% . In 2 weeks ill finish the rest when my order arrives from the UK. Im 90% sattisfied with the finish. Not bad. Look into different tint options. I can DIY with dad but I need to decide what kind of tint to buy + it needs to have the adecuate paperwork. Lets fix the windshield leak and we good for today.

I aint no scientist but you can probably get away with drinking even a shot of gasoline if you don't do it too often. So some not organic veggies here and there wouldn't ruin your life imo. Key is to make sure that the bulk of your diet - the key foods - are as high quality as possible. These days my diet for mineral and micronutrient profile is organic grass fed grass finished ground beef , lentils , white rice, organic bell peppers and onions ( chopped and frozen) , homemade water kefir , as high quality eggs as in can get ´+ bananas + supplements And it's not that expensive. Just about 250 per month for the best nutrition I've ever had. Maybe boring but it works for me. No gut issues and I'm energetic and focused.

Look for a cool colorful 2x3 meter carpet for the floor. The van is all dark grey inside now and I think a colorful floor carpet + RGB LED lighting would look really cool. + look for some puffs. Allways loved those things. + look for some way to make the floor softer. I'll be crawling the whole time since i most likely won't invest 3k euro into building a high top on this van. For that price I can buy a high roof van from the go.

Be on the lookout for a new driver's seat : google it and be ready to check the scrapysrds. Order both of the side mirrors and rear mirror in the car parts shop or original VW house. Fix windshield leak with the polyurethane glue ( didn't have to buy it, I already had it laying around the house from before) Purchase material for ceiling ( either rigid plastic or wood) most likely wood though as it is cheaper and I already have a can of varnish left. Measure, cut and drill the holes. I'n 2 weeks I'll have the rest of the carpet and glue that I need to finish the ceiling Carpet the driver's cabin floor. I do have enough carpet but probably not enough glue ( just one can left) . I could grab one more quickly as I do have Amazon Prime. Watch YT vid on how to do this. Unscrew both of the doors plastic parts. They are completely garbage and I need get either new ones from the VW house or second hand ones from online. Fix screeching windows and insulate the doors while at it. Ask dad about how to duplicate car key since it's too trashed to be done at normal shop. He said he knows a place. Paint the bumpers. Buy some black Raptor truck liner? Maybe just do it with the black bumper spray I already have. Tie a cord to the back door so that I can close it easier. Buy rear window tint or get it done professionally ( check amazon?) Consider buying white paint for the roof + use the car putty for the possible roof holes. At night when I'm back from work and before sleep, re read this list and pick a few items to work on them for the day Today was good.

Nuts. I just had to pay 43€ in importing taxes. F*ck Brexit lol. Now I'm salty. Next time I'll make a bigger order so that I don't need to be paying annoying fictional fees. At least my order is closer to arriving already so that I can start the chelation journey. 43€ is cheap compared with the possible mental clarity that I'll gain.

When I'm confused or undecisive, it helps me to remind myself that this is just the first version of my conversion, and that I'm learning a lot during the process and that my next conversion will be even better, and the next one even better. I'm learning from my mistakes and I'm discovering more clearly what I want and wat I dont want. I imagine that I can have dream van, with all the feats that I desire. It's a little bit of a stab in the ego because I'm really trying , and when I see the result that I've materialized with my best effort and I'm not satisfied with it, it makes me feel a bit incompetent. ⬆⬆⬆ There we go. Found one of the reasons

Ordered extra carpet ( same color ) ✅ I just winged it. I CBA micro optimizing and measuring to save 15-25 bucks. I'll just deal with having a little too much carpet. I'm okay with potentially having wasted 20 bucks. I went with the same anthracite color. Estimated delivery date : 18 / 19 January ( in 11-12 days. Basically two weeks ) Expect it to be here next tuesday, not this one . I want to get a physical calendar . I feel like it will help me to zoom out from the day to day grind.

I thought so. Maybe get two places, or just rent something cool that's also close?

Some stuff for tomorrow: go to Leroy Merlin and purchase some rigit plastic plates ( take measures for roof piece first ) . Glue the carpet on it , do the measures for the screws etc. Buy glue for the whindshield? New drill bit? Mask for when I'm spraying glu Order the side mirrors for the car. 60€ for both on Amazon . CALL THE SHOP or walk into it after coming back from Leroy Merlin. Store opens 8 AM, Order more carpet on E-bay. How much? what color? Should I carpet the Driver cabin floor ? Carpet Wheel arches + Inside blinker covers. - I already did some of this but I'm not completely happy with the finish and I did get somewhat mad and irritated. It's okay though.

Did you consider your logistic for game while you were purchasing your house? You obviously stayed in Vegas so I assume you did, but why not something better than a half an hour car ride?

Before sleep plan for next day. Keep pocket journal with to do checklist like I did today. Really helps productivity. It's interesting how frustrated I get with DIY stuff. May have some shadow burried in there .

If not, buy new bumpers. ) Buy a bottle of Raptor truck liner for a cool bumper finish? + paint the rims ? brainstorm ventilation options. Floor ventilation, wheelarch ventilation, etc. Fix Driver cabin insulation with the leftover Kaiflex material. Insulate the inside of both doors as well. Fix rear mirror Fix Ignition + repair the key. It's so worn out I'm worried it may snap. Brainstorm cool easy functional interior designs. Invest 30 bucks in a mask for when I'm glueing the carpet inside the van.

Looking for structural - low effort high results - ideas to consume more calories. 179cm @ 65kg here. I've been working out on and off for a few years already. I have some muscle but my bodyfat is non existent so I'm quite skinny. I've put a lot of thought and effort into nutrition and the staple foods that I tolerate well are basically high quality ground beef, white rice and beans/lentils. I do not tolerate wheat well and many other foods. What I thought about is baking a huge loaf or a few loafs of calory dense bread, or banana bread with gluten free flours . Also no oats. What i've come up with so far with the recipe: ripe-ass bananas, chickpea flour, coconut flour, organic corn flour, coconut milk / oil, high quality eggs or egg yolks, organic sugar ( i have no problem with sugar after discovering water kefir) I'm just confused about the corn flour. I understand it's gmo but it should be just okay if organic? It's relatively cheap , i digest it well and its calorie dense

Lol Most likely a shit test though, I dont think she really actually belived that, right? I remember Tyler telling a story about how the biggest shit test thrown at him was being threatened with a tazer to see if he would flinch lol. He did get laid from that one.

i love how i called that " minimal babystep " . I severely underestimated how long it's going to take me ( again, as with the whole proyect -roflmao ) 8 hours later of non-stop labor im 80% done with fixing the glue mess that I left last time. I'm still kind of concerned of the potentail health risks but fk it. For anyone wondering what am I talking about and wants a bit more of a visual explanation , this is what I did : Problem is that i sprayed too much glue on the back of the plywood ( where there is no carpet ) and now it's just sticking there onto nothing, and I'm worried that It may be a health hazard if I'm sitting in the van for hours and nights at a time and just breathing those fumes in. Sounds dangerous if you ask me, but I did my best to sandpaper most of it and I used acetone as a solvent for whatever was left. It's 70% gone I'd say. Ideally I'd do everything all over ( I'd lose about 250 bucks ) , but it's not even about the money. It's just like a extra week of full time work smh. EDIT : it may seem that I'm constantly pissed or something but it's just that carpentry and DIY overall gets the best of me. I'm all zen 364 days of the year besides when I need to roll up my sleeves to fix something and it doesn't go my way. Then I unleash hell on that screwdriver.

60% done with this. I burned my bread in the oven and i poked my hand with a screw a few times. I'm bleeding a little but it's gonna be worth it. I'm kinda salty cause the sand paper didn't remove as much glue as I'd like it to and I didn't think about using BOTH acetone and sandpaper. Funny thing is i said id use some solvent and I instantly forgot. Most likely ill do the acetone later. But overall I'm glad I've overcome the resistance of re-taking this project and this public journal definitely helped.
