Comparing yourself to others is a form of self judgement. Judgement by nature is mostly involuntary, which means it will just happen naturally, so entirely stopping it is unlikely , not to say imposible. What you can do is increase your mindfulness. Notice when the judgement happens and instead of judging yourself for judging, embrace the feeling and don't label it good or bad. Just let it be. That is one part of dealing with envy. Understanding it's nature. On the other hand, you must have certain beliefs, perhaps unconscious , that trigger these feelings . Perhaps a feeling or belief of having wasted your life, time, potential, not being good enough and wanting to compensate by amazing skills, not having decided who you want to be / who you want to become, etc. You may have to do some work on releasing these beliefs. Or maybe the feeling is exactly right , because you're seeing something you authentically desire but you chronically procrastinate on taking action towards it. In that case, take the hint and roll up your sleeves Envy means " I feel unsatisfied because I lack something someone else has " Realize that everyone is on a different journey. Realize that it literally is impossible to be great at everything for the simple reason that since our time on this planet is limited , we can only choose a handful of domain to be great at. There will allways be someone better than you at something. That's why you should work on defining who do you want to be and become, so that you can feel inspired by others greatness to fuel yourself on your own path, rather than allways wanting something else. Have some healthy limiting beliefs. It you spend 20 years on guitar, programing, learning multiple languages, becoming a master juggler, learning public speaking , etc you can't put that time into other areas. You literally CAN NOT. Realize that. It's a form of FOMO really. A sort of OCD always obsessing on what you're lacking. Always looking at the other side of the fence and allways regretting your decision of where spending your time. Define yourself. Set your own trayectory and know where you going. Absolutely track your finances in some way. I use this scuffed Spanish Android APP called " Gestor de Gastos" but you can do better. Simply being mindful and noticing / taking note of every time you have an expense already influences your wallet positively Quantum finances right there everybody

WhisperSync is pretty good if you struggle with focusing while reading or you want to speed read a book. It's basically reading the book and listening to the audiobook at once. Alternative: What I do is if I have a PDF version of the book ( dont ask me where from ) I just open it in Microsoft edge browser. Right click the text and select a voice. It's absolutely fantastic and free.

Specially useful to see a big picture of your life If your mind sucks so much you're not capable of holding multiple ideas at once in your mind ( no offense, may be genetic or because of heavy metals ) Also works for contemplation of complex concepts like the human condition or simpler concepts like your non existant s*x life

Audible and audiobooks are great. You know what's better? Your own audiobook. Build it over time. Read it out loud, Record it, Listen to it to program your subconscious mind with what you've decided deserves to be in there. Or you can use AI to clone your voice and create text to speech that actually resonates with you. Kinda uncanny sometimes. Give it a free test : Expose yourself to new information, yes. But put effort to internalize what you know is GOLD. It may be individual " mantra phrases" as well depending on your case Listen to it on loop as you drive, walk, run. Listen to it to muffle your toxic family's political discussions I've only found "Loop player" on Play store for now. Lemme know if you can do better.

Voice typing has REALLY evolved. Do you want to finally practice speaking more? Do you have a lot of thoughts that you want to document but your fat fingers don't allow you to efficiency use your smartphone? Put two and two together. Smart Journaling. Contemplate out loud. You can use this in any smartphone note taking app by clicking on the microphone button that displays on the top right ( in my case ) of your key board. It's better than you think. Check the settings . It allows for multiple language recognition ( if you don't switch mid sentence)

Some people can enjoy a moderate use. If that is not you, you need technology ON YOUR SIDE, not working against you Are you checking this forum OR WORSE compulsively throughout the day? ( Don't side stare me Leo) Set rules for entertainment and social media. " No YouTube/Instagram/Forums between 2 Am and 10 PM" for example . Use technology to impose this if needed.
