  1. At first I was hoping for Alex Grey instead lol iykyk
  2. @28 cm unbuffed Good luck, but what the vibe I get from you is that you will have to suffer way more for way longer to finally crack up and transcend the "nihilism problem". I just wanted to put in your awareness that it is possible to live through an entire life, all 80+ years, without handling this issue, simply by not dealing with it directly, avoiding looking inward and distracting yourself with other aspects of life. Not adressing the issue is one way. You will be dragging it for the rest of your days but it is a way.
  3. @28 cm unbuffed you will not escape this feeling of nihilism until you shift your driving motivation from being logic / rationallity to FEELING. You feel "nilihistic" because the vast majority of humanity is wired to be hyper-logical and expect logical rational anwsers to the purpose and meaning of life. You expect a goal, an archivement or an experience to fulfill you and make you happy. You feel that you have to do x y z because it will give you a reward, and the reward is suposed to be meaningful and fulfilling to you. Vast majority of humanity is autistic in that sense. And I do not use this term in a pejorative way. It's simply the perfect description of that hyper-logical condition. Or at least it seems to be the perfect description of the condition from the other end, once you shift to Feeling over Thinking and analyzing. Check my old posts if you want a more in depth explanation. I went over this like a dozen of times already.
  4. I think now I understand him better. He found himself the oportunity to milk spreading conspiracy by getting product sponsors on popular click-baity videos. I'd pin him at unhealthy orange with a green shadow.
  5. @Rilles i think you posted wrong link
  6. Im a bit confused about what is ment by awakening. I understand it has to be experienced because words will never do the trick, but I hold in my mind that awakening simply is a the same as an insight, just a deeper insight into a facet of the nature of reallity. Awakening = profound insight into reallity. Yes or no?
  7. Watch many of leo's episodes about ego so that you understand it from multiple angles. Basically, "ego" is that groundless sense of self that everyone has. It's that " I " , " Me " . But most importantly, it's a STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS. You don't know what ego is because you never stepped outside of this one state of consciousness, besides sleep or lucid dreaming perhaps. That's why people talk about samadhi, or "everything being one" etc. Because EGO is a " contracted" state of self. A samadhi experience would merge that sense of self with your whole field of experience, and you would " indentify yourself " with that whole bubble. You would become thewhole room, per se. There is much more to it.
  8. If you have been a year or more into meditation it's common to experience a phase of numbness leading you into a dark night of the soul. If you want to experience emotions, for me what allways work for example , listening to some beautifull singing, alcapella or even busking on the street, some animal rescue videos or some pictures of beautifull women make me emotional as well. Oh also, there is no way I watch a David dobriks vlog without smiling all along the video. different people feel emotional in different situations, but there are overarching themes as we are all suposed to be coming from the same species lol. So that would be Alturism, colaboration, laughter, approval from big crowds, etc.
  9. So I wanted to share this Insight I had a while ago about the existential nature of the self / other and the sentient / inert duallity. Not long before this, I had a short Samadhi experience while doing some neti-neti and focusing on Actuallity meditation. I'm saying this because I applied the "Mu" insight while talking with a co-worker face to face. That day I had been pondering: what does it mean that something is alive? How is it possible for something to exist and be " dead, inert, not sentient " ? This notion felt so absurd. So I was chatting with, lets call him Paul, and as I was directly looking at his face, eyes, mouth moving, etc, I asked myself " how can I be sure of him being "alive", just like " I am " in my direct experience? What I saw was his mouth moving, making sounds, facial expressions, etc while I was PROJECTING on him the idea of " human being, alive, sentient, not inert and different from a rock " . This kind of freaked me out for a while. I felt as if he was a robot, as in ", just moving but no person inside ". I asked myself " what's the difference between him and a rock?? And I could't find a proof of him being more alive than a rock is, the only difference being that I was projecting that he is "alive" and that "he" displays more intelligence and movement. I imagined him being made of stone, but a kind of stone that is intelligent, could move, had a girlfriend, could comunicate, and looks and feels like flesh. WOW. IT'S THE SAME!! I thought " oh god, I'm fucked " . I knew I won't be able to shake this off. And that's how the dead / alive and inert / sentient conceptual duallity colapsed in my mind. Since then, I don't look at others the same way. Anyways, Paul is a cool guy. No idea what he was saying though LOL. TLDR : Others = Mu. Rocks = Mu. The only difference is that I project one is alive, human, sentient and rocks are not intelligent, not alive, etc. wtf. Is this what Leo means with "others" being imaginery? Edit : yes, nevertheless I'm still nice to people
  10. I'd get it over spotify. what for , if you can play music from youtube with your phone screen off ?!
  11. I didn't know. It was one of these uninquired unconscious assumptions I had. That " others " are real. Then I wanted to know , how can I know if they are real? Therefore looking for a " proof " , but as I said, I found none.
  12. @Striving for more careful with having bluetooth 24/7 around your head the whole time, radiation is serious issue. But I agree, some good headphones are great for lisening to audiobooks etc.
  13. @Husseinisdoingfine bruh wireless mouse and a calculator?? why dont your drawers have knobs??? your desk has a hole specifically for cables to go in yet your keyboard cable goes around the table. So many questions .
  14. Not even nothing actually Lol. This right here is oficially our new Zen riddle. The anwser? Mu Funny how someone could actally have an enlightenment experience from this stupid question X d
  15. *This post was inspired by the existance of MBTI and the big 5* I'd love to roll out an extensive research and personal thesis on y'all but actually I'd like to know what do you think about the "astrological signs", whether western or eastern or any kind that you know of. Imo it's mostly BS and stories as most things that come from popular culture, but I gotta say that I do see an overarching kind of personallity in people who share the same sign like " Leo" ( my brother) and Sagittarius ( my father"s , my friend's and my own sign as well) since these are some "signs" that I have more experience with. Since the solar system is somewhat cyclical, he time of the year you are concieved in, could affect in some say the way your brain gets scrambled together when you are born , the same way as a full moon may affect someone's sleeping or how a full moon affect's the tide or whatever. Also girls love this sh1t, so why not have a chat about it. Thoughts?
  16. is a titanium dental implant like I have a cause for concern?
  17. Tip : separate your sentences or paragraphs, was quite painful to read all lumped together with no spacing. The default state is happiness. You feel unease because you distract yourself from emptiness with tasks and chores, when what you have to do us ground yourself in the emptiness. That would be a massive step up in terms of growht. Watch leos vid on " You are not happy because you dont want to " , understanding meaning, value and purpose" And "what is happiness"
  18. It's funny because for me many signs feel 99% correct hah. Overly generalized descriptions + proyection from the reader does the trick to make one feel like it's really describing you.
  19. personal development did change me from intp to infp. idk about others
  20. That's pretty much a false dichotomy. There is "victory / loss" only if you frame it that way. Get outside of that pradigm and zoom out to see the bigger picture. You can see things happening simply as learning oportunities, as practice, as "experience", etc. Imagine this: you walking to the bathroom from the couch in your living room, and you think the following: OKAY, IF I DON'T MAKE IT TO THE BATHROOM IN EXACTLY 8 LARGE STEPS I LOST. See how you created that win/ loss frame out of thin air? This applies pretty much to everything, to various degrees. Let me quote you this from Leo's old " Personal development blueprint". Not exctly on point but you will probably still get a lot of value.
