  1. @Gabriel Antonio hmmmmmmmmmm, have you met leo yourself? you're judging him as if you've known him for his entire life. You try inspiring crowd, or hosting a channel.. try being charismatic, you will hit your head against the wall trying to develop your own communication style. Leo went through that just as Rogan did, just as anyone will trying to get their voice to be heard. I think real growth occurs when you develop out of being myopic and projecting your own flaws and tendencies onto Leo.
  2. yes you heard it right https://twitter.com/LeoGura1/followers
  3. he is one of the best STAGE YELLOW personal developement persons alive!
  4. @voxun Israel has indeed harmed countless palestinian lives, but again so have the palestinians organized and articulated harmful attacks of their own, to say one invented terrorism would be playing this childish game of identity, no one side is responsible for the invention of terrorism they are victim to their own egoic collective.
  5. @Shin You can't say muslims invented terrorism and sexism, terrorism, sexism and islam are not monolithic, even with the absence of islam those things would still be present, they are creations of your various survival collective mechanisms that function within your ego. There is no need to insult and belittle an entire collective. I dislike your attitude.
  6. @zambize thats for me to know and for you to not
  7. @Joseph Maynor thanks good to know, very useful
  8. Being neurotic is much more than just a character trait, it's how you choose to react to the world. When you're a neurotic you react to the world in such a manner where you produce anxiety and fear at an overwhelming degree. The good news is that this can be stopped. The whole aim of meditation is to shine awareness on your thoughts and emotions, making a distinction between them and reality. Your problem is that, you don't value thoughts as just thoughts you believe them to be REALITY. so yes meditation helps with becoming aware of the distinction between thoughts and reality, but if you really want results, aim for enlightenment.
  9. @winterknight i get it, but why do anything if you don't exist, why come here on this forum? you want to help people, and you replying to me is living proof of that! wouldn't you want to become more charismatic (not saying youre not, i do not know you personally) so you could reach and help out more people? kind of like what leo has done.
  10. Ive watched your video on this subject a few years ago now, i've done the affirmations, not consistently, i just wanted to ask you now, a few years later, do you still think doing the affirmations is effective? is it going to actually reprogram my mind?
  11. @winterknight So how would you shape and mold your personality? When you’re enlightened, like if u wanted to teach people, and have an influence, you would need to become more charismatic, assertive, trustable and so on... how would u go about that after enlightenment?
  12. @winterknight you talk about how you have in the past tried to teach and talk about enlightenment to some people, but they hadn't seemed to believe you, "because you didn't have the right personality" as you mentioned. why don't you work on that shouldn't enlightenment make it effortless to shape and mold your personality? <---- this is my question
  13. so this is a recurring theme when i contemplate, i slowly start to become aware of my infinite nature, and my heart beat beats faster, i get dizziness, and then im thrown back into myself "the ego" its like a defense mechanism, my ego is like, NOPE not today, and i can't get passed it, today i tried to surrender to it, and got weird tension through out all my body, and then went into a dream state. my question is, how do i go past this, how do i surrender my ego at once?
  14. So i sat today for 4 hours contemplating what i was, i came to the conclusion that i was a specific part of the brain, that could generate thoughts, then i came to the concluesion that i was a thought, I slowly started falling asleep and as that was happening i started to feel bursts of strong tension in my body in the rythem of a heart beat, it was on and off and on and off, i became conscious of it and then was knocked into a dream state where i started to see weird visuals of eyes looking at me, and then they would fade away and then rebirth into new eyes and then the last pair of eyes where my own, and then they also faded away, i felt very scared, but was conscious and my body was tensed, i remember feeling the vast size of the universe, and then slowly waking up. I remember telling myself to surrender, and that i love god, but god was silent and cold. what i took away from this is that spirituality needs to happen with more heart and love, instead of analyzing it heartlessly. what are your thoughts? Have you experienced something similar? Where do i go from here?
  15. dude, same i just finished high school and in 7 months ill be in university
  16. @Eric Tarpall that depends on the movie, for example if you had to play minecraft all day you would be bored out of your mind
  17. @Eric Tarpall sunday is going to be a good day
  18. what do you mean? you're not enlightened since you claim you are the body, organism, thing, object, consciousness, what do want us to ask you about, what you ate for breakfast?
  19. Day 1 Today and the next days (depending on how long i can go) im fasting, that means no food, just water and some vitamins and electrolytes. Weight: 85kg/187 pounds Enlightenment: Finished eckhart tolle's the power of now, meditated, did leos enlightenment exercise for 40 minutes,
  20. Introduction: Im 17, in the next few weeks, i will have dropped of all the weight and in hopefully the following months i hope to have some sort of enlightenment experience. My strategy: Weight Loss: for the first week i'm going on a fast then I will eat a low crab, high vegetable unprocessed diet, and be moderately active. Enlightenment: Daily meditation, combined with self inquiry, doing Leos no bullshit enlightenment guide, as well as reading enlightenment books. Past experiences: Weight Loss: I have successfully gone from 233 to 187 pounds but im still not happy with the way things are, i need another 20-30 pounds off. Enlightenment: I haven't had any enlightenment experiences as of now, but there were a few times where i would slightly become conscious that i'm an illusion then my heart rate would rise, and i felt my identity become even stronger (defense mechanism). As a kid i was fascinated by life, and had some sort of psychic ability where i would predict the in detail certain events, and i did this on multiple occasions, but maybe they were coincidences who knows...
  21. @Yannik brother, i wish you the best, keep me updated on how its going.
