  1. Caring for dead bodies is meaningless, but do not forget that not caring for them is meaningless as well
  2. @Emanyalpsid Have seen him before, just watching the Part 3 right now. Quite incoherent and self-contradicting description of things, mingled with a lot of assumptions which are not explained further - especially the ones about substance dualism. Also, he takes a few Ramana Maharshi quotes out of context in order to strengthen his argument, where what Ramana was trying to point out was the transcending of the I AM to nothingness Comparing Leo and this guy, the latter rings a lot more of my bullshit radars and contradicts more of what my direct experience is Since this is the only thing I have, I will probably stick with my direct experience rather than this guy's concepts. Thanks for sharing though, it is always good to have ideas challenged. The guy is not too bad, he has a point about people being lost in concepts and mentions a few good thoughts about free will. As with everything, take it with a pinch of salt - he even mentions this with his eat the grape, spit out the seeds analogy
  3. How can you transcend the 'I am' ? Is it just by staying with it for long enough? As there is still an 'I' in that form... [i am meaning that place of quiet after you have asked 'to whom did this thought arise' and there is no logical answer for the mind to grasp]
  4. You made it clear that it was irresponsible and you are so right that it has its place in Oneness as everything else. If it was not the label Ivan, some other label would have had this experience. Lovely description, hope you have less shattering ones next time. Or more shattering even. Who knows. Enjoy.
  5. @Mikael89 Self-inquiry it is for you then, the time will come when you will grasp it. Everything is precisely where it should be
  6. The topic is phrased weirdly so it is not clear whether you want a definition of Egoic Enlightenment (a term commonly used by Hellspeed) or whether you want a definition of Enlightenment (you can watch Leo's videos).
  7. @Mikael89 How can the body be an ego? It does not feel physical pain - when somebody hits you, then there is a sensation of pain which even the word 'pain' does not accurately describe as it is merely a part of the infinite flux of sensations = reality. So 'pain' is just a label you constructed for a specific sensation and 'body' is another label referring to a set of other sensations. In reality there is simply an impersonal occurrence of what you describe as 'pain'.
  8. Desiring to get rid of ego is still a desire. So you are right in believing that we cannot get rid of the ego. We can just accept it as it is. As Sadhguru once said, you evolved over hundreds of years in order to have the most developed mind among the animal kingdom and now you want to get rid of it? What is this non-sense? Just use it to its purpose and it will not interfere.
  9. Quite an interesting point, wonder if there is more to this
  10. It does actually stand still when the eyes are not moving. Quite groovy.
  11. Maybe one day everything will refer to consciousness rather than time in terms of calculations. Your point here is quite cool, I resonated with it. I can see where you are going. But yeah, the relative time phenomena should be happening within a meta-entity which would be reality I suppose - just quite hard to describe mathematically what that is.
  12. Sometimes it has the potential to go really dark though, suppose a bit more than other psychedelics
  13. Yes, it does serve quite well in the relative world, even if you just 'believe' it. Sometimes anger and sadness try to overcome and take hold, but you can resort to the faith that there is nobody in control, which leads to letting go rather than fighting and resisting. Quite marvelous.
  14. You cannot know it as knowing implies knower and known, which is a duality. You have a better chance of BEING the Truth. With Being there is only One.
  15. Alan Watts is bae. Hence, the signature below.
  16. @SoonHei I am the same - almost got my hands on some recently, but that failed as well. I guess they will come when it is the right time.
  17. @SoonHei but remember that everything is perfect precisely where it is! You are infinite, so denying those claims is just one of the manifestations of this infinity. 'You' do not even control it anyhow, so it's all good. Damn it @Rilles , you got me thinking about the duality of language and now anything I type seems meaningless (which it perhaps is). SO THANK YOU! AND THANK EVERYBODY! Much love to you guys everywhere. Sentences making sense are so 2017 anyway.
