  1. 5-meo is absolutely not an anti-psychotic traditionally. I would imagine you could get rid of psychotic symptoms by using 5-meo and recontextualizing your whole psyche if that's what you mean but this is something that is incredibly difficult and also something that probably requires a trained facilitator and should absolutely not done by yourself alone
  2. I was having a discussion on Saturday with a smart, caring, otherwise philanthropist friend that is also on the path to enlightenment and self actualization that believed murder is not inherently wrong provided that the individual being killed does not have any relatives/friends and is killed instantly. The dialog went somewhat like this: Her: Since death seen from a non-dual perspective can not be regarded as something wrong or bad and that since for something to be wrong or bad it has to produce and be connected with suffering and pain, usual death is only bad for the people left behind that lose their loved one and not for the victim itself. Therefore in the hypothetical scenario that the individual does not have any friends/family left behind there is nothing wrong with killing them. Me: This action is coming from a problematic consciousness of Egoic perspective, not from an enlightened human being. An enlightened human being does not have any interest in specific future outcomes and constantly surrenders to every present moment whatever that might be. So they do not have any reason to kill someone, there is no interest for them in that. Her: Nevertheless them/their body performs actions like eating, walking and so on, doesn't that have a purpose? Me: Yes, although from their perspective every purpose is game-like and not a serious rigid purpose like other people have. They/their body will still choose a narrative to live in, through making decisions like walking etc (brought up Jung's jokester archetype also) but they would gladly take every future event as happily as the next one. Her: So why wouldn't that apply in the future event of them painlessly killing a homeless person with no human connections? Basically isn't that as well an act of Love from their perspective? Why would that be a scenario to be avoided? Isn't destroying the whole Earth really an act of unconditional Love as much as it is to save it? At this point I had to admit that she was right since I did not see a mistake in her thought process but for some reason I'm still not convinced that this is the case. Would love to hear @Leo Gura 's opinion on this. Thanks!
  3. Hi people, I have huge trouble connecting with SD Tier 1 people in the erotic domain. I do not have that much of a problem connecting with Tier 1 people in terms of friendship, even though I feel way more connected with my Tier 2 friends, but when it comes to intimate relationships I lose all interest when my partner doesn't have meta-thinking tendencies. It is a pretty damn struggle finding girls that are on SD Tier 2 in the first place and when attractiveness enters the equation the field obviously gets even narrower. To clarify I don't shame anybody that is on SD Tier 1, I was there once as well, probably still have parts there, I do not turn SD into an elitist model of filtering people and I believe that everyone is where they need to be in their life, respecting their position. It's just that I can't find people to feel intimacy with. I guess you could potentially call it a fetish. I don't know what to do or how/where to find these people and this is making me lonely.
  4. @Username I also find that females are much less likely to hit tier 2 than males. It's also probably because society oppresses women so it is less likely for one to evolve that far. I can say that I have 3-4 male friends that are solidly on yellow whereas I know maybe 2 girls that are maybe approaching tier 2 but have a far way to go. That is unfortunate... For me at least... Maybe I should go gay? I don't know. I'm not attracted to males... @Jacob Morres @Espaim That's very encouraging and optimistic thanks. Although I have been in all the major Green places in my country, free campings, hippie gatherings, music festivals and so on but never found a single female that was on tier 2.
  5. But would an enlightened being ever kill someone ?
  6. Hey Leo, I also suffer from chronic fatigue. Is there anything you have found up to now that helps? What I have found out is that environmental heat is a huge factor. My chronic fatigue during the winter is nothing close to how it is in the summer. thanks!
  7. @Michael569 No I did not know about this site, I will check it out and see what it has to diagnose in terms of nutrient deficiencies. @Espaim I haven't drunk coffee in years. Haven't used psychedelics in years. I am taking a small dose of an ssri (zoloft 50mg) daily but I do not think that this is in any way connected as I was suffering from fatigue long before I started taking it. Again I would speculate that there is something to do with heat even though other than drinking more water and eating some more salt and an extra daily banana for electrolytes I do not see in what other way I could battle this.
  8. Thanks everyone so far for answering. I will definitely try some of the things you suggested. @Michael569 My diet is probably healthier than 99% of the population. I eat 0 sugar, 0 trans fats, 0 white flour, I eat a lot of non-fatty protein rich foods like chicken and fish, nuts, dairy, eggs, I also eat vegetables, I would say half of all the foods I eat are organic. I don't smoke and I have maybe 1-2 beers per month. My lifestyle I would describe as mostly stationary although there are some days when I walk for a good couple of hours. I mostly walk everywhere I need to go that is less than maybe 20-25 minute walk distance. My body is rather athletic but I can not say I exercise much, maybe 1 hour per week total. If I exercise more than 10 minutes straight I feel exhausted. I also had all the suitable medical tests, stress tests, heart screens, blood screens, some of them multiple times, all came out 100% clear. I get a lot of sleep in terms of time but often it is not good quality. It's like I am always a little half awake, except when I sleep after having been awake for like more than 25 hours straight, that's when my sleep gets deeper. But even though that sounds like a very important factor my intuition tells me that this is not the problem, because my sleep is the same in the winter, but in the winter I don't feel nowhere close to the exhaustion I'm feeling in the summer, and I feel that happens year in and year out. I'm drinking more water, I have the a/c on almost all day but still... Summer is such an energy vampire...
  9. I would really like to see a solid video on repressed anger and how to deal with it. In general I would say that I miss some of the more surface level videos Leo used to do in the past. I totally support and believe that the deep metaphysical concepts are the core fundamentals and overall necessarily more important but in the same time I think that some surface level issues do not let me pursue the path to self actualization on full speed. I guess a bunch of people might be on the same boat. If you are calm, concentrated, peaceful and balanced on the surface level it is easier to focus more effectively on the serious metaphysical aspects of existence.
  10. Does anyone know of any substances/herbs/extracts/supplements that would promote the here and now type of consciousness mode? Any decent pharmacological aids to presence and monkey mind inhibition ? Thanks
  11. Is Teal Swan a student of Leo or in any other way related?
  12. @Sidi Can you please give me a link to check it out?
  13. I was watching the "What is Death" video listening to Leo embracing death and saying things like "Death is actually the best thing that will ever happen to you" or "Death is the real paradise" and so on and I'm worried that we're sooner or later going to have a bunch of kids jumping off of some roof convinced af. Then I realise that he who worries about this, is imaginary, only cares about this because of his speciestic, egoic agenda of deathshaming and that the kids existed in the first place, then the hand grabs some pop corn, brings it to the mouth, and the show is enjoyed by the empty theater.
  14. @Leo Gura No, I'm saying that then I realise that he who worries that the kids might jump off of a roof (aka the "me" that I identify with) is imaginary and only cares about this because of an egotistical genetic predisposition that promotes the human species, and that the kids never even existed in the first place. Then the show is enjoyed by the empty theater, whatever the show might be.
  15. Hey, I'm trying to find Leo's Stage Turqoise video because I wanted to watch it again. I think the video has been removed, any ideas why?
  16. The title basically, Jung's theory on synchronicities seems to me a little confusing and I'm not sure what to make of it. Would be great to watch a detailed explanation on that.
  17. Transpersonal Psychology, Perinatal experiences, Basic Perinatal Matrices and COEX systems are things that I have found immensely interesting while reading Grof's work. Would be nice to see a video on those
  18. flagged it as what ?? Inappropriate content?? Were boobs involved?
  19. This has probably been asked before, but I didn't succeed in finding sufficient answers. Is there anything wrong meditating on a chair instead of half lotus / lotus position? And generally, is there any merit in different meditating positions? I have been meditating for 20 minutes every day for a year, and now this year I'm trying to stick with a one hour / day habit. This has me being very distracted by trying to maintain the posture itself. I have not noticed any improvements on my focusing ability when I'm meditating half lotus instead of regularly sitting on a chair. If anything, the latter lets me be more focused since I'm not in any physical strain. That said, I'm assuming that these postures have a role to play since this is the tradition. What do you recommend? Thanks
  20. If you lie down there's high chance that you fall asleep as has happened to me before. Lying down doesn't work, at least for me. But I'm not sure about how it's different meditating lotus or just sitting.
  21. Is there anyone here that has experienced an enlightening experience while being on an SSRI? (Not due to the SSRI, just during the same period he/she was on one) Is it possible ?
  22. I've watched it in the past, maybe I'll watch it again, thanks!
