Wait who is this imposter. The real veganawake would of said there is no you and there for no one to have a subconsciousness to feel guilty about. -
I wouldn’t be to concerned. You just may lack deep in your body stimulation or connection to your own emotions. These activities your doing sound like they could be proving that on some level. there’s a certain forgone and new excitement to violence and stuff you only hear about. Plucking hairs or small pains can be euphoric. Aggressive control can feel deeply connecting to your inner animal drives. I’d encourage you not to treat others or animals that way anymore which it sounds like you naturally are doing since it was in the past.

What about solipsism?

Forget the title of this video. This was probably one of the top five understandings that helped me on my spiritual journey. I'm willing to bet that this video is more relevant than almost any video out on the internet in regard to what the majority of people on this forum suffer from. Put simply, you think your the center the of the universe (in a non-freeing way) and as a result you give so much importance to this character, and you think everyone else does to. I've wanted to and probably still will make a video on this same subject, but they nail it so well for the age group here I thought I'd share it now.

No big deal, it just doesn't look good to have pirated video links on the forum.

@softlyblossoming Dont link pirated movies to the forum.

Would you rather leave or add something positive to the world and maybe help the issues that cause you pain?
-
I wouldn't go down the road of "even if I woke up tomorrow and everything went perfectly for the rest of my life. It feels like nothing could ever make up for the pain I’ve been through". Is this the way and how you want your story to go? If you still see it as in your head, then let it be just in your head, no need to believe it into being true, leave it as a thought/feeling. Does that make sense? Otherwise your literally letting yourself go down the road of nothing can change this, and even if it were to go away and feel better I'd still let myself feel worse and bring up how bad it was in the past, "now", because the past was so bad. Does that make sense?

Sometimes the most obvious least spiritual way is how to deal with it. Just ask whats making you nervous, and if its a practical thing, then just do it, sometimes procrastination, resisting what you feel like is the important thing, or the safe thing is just going to cause anxiety. So in those cases, just try and get shit done. If its less obvious and hard to figure out, then maybe have them look into stocism or something similar that just doesn't sensationalize uncomfortable experience. Lifes uncomfortable, and its not the end of the world. When really getting this, sometimes anxiety or dull discomforts or little things that bother you, fade more into the background or not at all. Not all discomfort is a indication that theres something in the background thats worse or a circumstance that needs therapy or solving for it to go away. Sometimes you bleed, sometimes you anxiety, sometimes you stress, of no intention, and the reason has no reason.

whats wrong with enjoying yourself while your here? Why call it hedonism or see it through someone else's negatively biased lenses? -
Who said it was exploitative?

Look into fear as much as you want, its just fear afterall. But at a certain point it may become irrelevant or boring and you'll want to do something else. But more to the point, getting use to anything/being with a pleasant attitude is probably better than being with something with a poor attitude. -

This is a big question, but the one biggest thing that I'd say helped (then again there are many), is look into the outlook of stocism. Get comfortable with imperfection and not quite the way you'd like. Embrace a little soreness, backache, fatigue, disapointment. Get comfortable or at least understanding/more relaxed about that neighbor or dog that keeps barking outside. Once you see that the neighbor and the dog barkin outside are not different than the sounds/feelings/thoughts of "ego" supposedly inside your head/body, you may see it that its possible to relax if its there, or at-least appears to be there. Also let go of expectations and beliefs that something else should be happening like bliss or non-ending comfort. This is just a distraction, a longing that in the end you may find is just creating a discomfort, which funny enough is the opposite of the very comfort your wanting. -

Very much so it could, however ultimately its not about overcoming fear of death, or overcoming fear of being eternal. But again, both are very much what can appear to happen. -

Yes, you are correct, time has never started and thus never progressed. And yes NOW is all there is. The ceasing I'm talking about, would be the death of God. But who knows if that will ever occur or is possible, all I'm saying is its unknown. -

I use to think this. Existence is Eternal up until now. It is neither and both formless and form. But this forever and always has been is not known to continue as such. No one knows. If it were to End, it will never have been known and will never Exist ever again, for there will no longer be any formless or form or anyness at all to return or be or become. -
2:20-7:20 is where she talks about this, but feel free to watch the whole video. Been wanting to share this video for a while. This was probably one the most critical videos I watched that helped me let go in a certain way and stop waiting for my personality and actions and feeling of "me" to change or fade away before I could be enlightened. I found that by understanding whats pointed to in this video, it helped lift a tremendous weight and pressure to be perfect and saintly as a prerequisite to awakening. This isn't to say just be an ass, but there is so much spiritual idea's and pressure, which can and do create a story that need to happen before you are ready to understand who you are.

Actually Existence may not be forever. Its forever up until this moment, which really isn't a moment in time, but the idea that Existence will continue is not guaranteed. If Existence were to cease, it never be known and there will cease forever to be anything at all forever. This idea that God can not cease to exist, is a myth. But the good news is, it hasn't happened.....yet? Have a nice day. -
I know what you mean, this stuff is often shared in ways that make it seem like Awakening changes all things on all levels simultaneously (which can happen, but is not always the case). Take for example, Ive been a drug user or a alcoholic in which the behavior pattern has created physical/neurological changes and dependencies. Ten minutes later I have a awakening experience in which you could say Self-Realization/God undersanding/Enlightenment happens. It sticks, there is new found freedom, well being and understanding, however the body may go through a biological response neurochemically in which there is response coming from the cell level for what its use to, this will be felt emotionally and may be uncomfortable while its happening. This may feel like a urge to go consume what ever that thing was that was use to being consumed hourly. Not giving in, may feel uncomfortable. This pattern will still be there until its dealt with, but it may and often does feel less overwhelming and as a result the change over time to reeducate the brain/body/cells food/alchohol consumption/drug patterns will take place, sometimes rapidly, sometimes it may take some time.

Tangible experiential lessening of struggle within. -
While I dont generally like the "dream" metaphor, I've gotten a great appreciation for it lately and think it best answers this question. You dream right? You know it feels kinda real and links together, even though logically it shouldn't. Like flying through some clouds only to land in a kitchen talking to your friends, it all can seemlessly fit together in dream land. Much in the same way, what feels like reality and its infinite complexity and building off of itself, is itself a form or type of dream, only this "dream" has lots of sensical and logical obvious stuff that makes sense (to you and most) and fundamentally feels and seems real. Also its consistency and the feeling of this consistency makes it easy to say this is real fundamentally and makes it had to question and see through. So basically to directly answer your question, the "unknown" is like a highly sophisticated Vr-dream machine that you experience everything through, which produces stuff called, known, real, and dreams.
