  1. This may be most appropriate for SD Green thinkers hoping to move into Yellow, but offers something for everyone..... Something that I found very liberating along the path to awakening was realizing that we are just animals. If your like me, probably at some point along the path, if you self reflect, you may notice you start to subtly judge others based upon your new set of values developed through reading awakened masters of the past, watching Leo's video's, starting a meditation practice or wanting the world to be a better place. Now ask yourself, why don't you judge apes, dogs, cats, sharks, elephants, coyotes the same way? Is it because your society said your different? What would it be like to accept yourself and others with less judgement, like you do with animals? For me, I realized how much I self judged myself and others for being how we were all designed; animals essentially. We all came through this same process of a big bang, to formation of stars, and organisms, to more a familiar now nature as "animals" yet we separate ourselves from it and judge accordingly with, oh humans are territorial and act violent and we kill eachother, and steal, this is horrible, we should be One nation, One earth (and this can be something we can aspire to and work towards) but this isn't how things were created within the universe, nor was it ever a problem that it happened this way! This can very liberating to let in, and can help you let go of a lot of self judgement about being animal like in nature (territorial, fearful, skeptical, cautious, traumatized, selfish, all nature created conditions) and judgement of others who you see as problems who aren't or haven't woken up.
  2. Hey man, you sound like me when I first started on the path. Super focused and diligent to a tee and one pointed towards Self realization. But like you, there were mind/body changes and pains. Some of these are part of the course, even being less focused and the mind not working the way it use to. However, it sounds like you may need to tackle your pursuit from a new angle. To much spiritual practice in the form of Meditation overstimulated me at one point, along with all the spiritual energies released through questioning self/SElf and shedding old idea's. Now I don't want to say drop it all and just focus on school for now, but it could be the best thing you can do for yourself. If I were in your shoes and having learned what I have over the last 10 years. I'd heavily cut back on meditative practices, like full stop for two months and see how that helps, then maybe slowly put in 20-30 mins here and there, just listen to your body. I'd get your diet in order and If your not doing yoga, try it out, when I took on a serious yoga practice (4-5 times a week and teacher training) some of the energy offness I couldn't put my finger on sorted itself out. If you don't like yoga, a physical practice of some sort can be just as grounding, weights, martial arts, a sport, but something you really do and puts you in your body for at least an hour at a time. I'd also drop most of your spiritual reading/watching during this two months as well, just that can effect your energies and slowly bring it back into your life after if it feels right. Just focus on school, and relationships if you can. If your internally still yearning to wake up and enlighten as they say, doing what I said won't prevent that, your life lessons and growth will come in your new pursuits and you don't have to force anything, trust me
  3. From where I'm from and in a lot of cultures, if some is being personable and says "You seem to have found something powerful and useful, I'm just sharing what I've learned as well. We don't have to meet eye to eye. " and the other responds with "It's difficult to meet eye to eye when the "I" stand between the two eyes". I know your not talking about yourself, so you must be talking about me. Your basically saying we are not meeting eye to eye since my small "I" is in the way, and you have no small "I" that's in the way. Either your joking, which ok maybe I misunderstood, or there is some power dynamic you've established inside yourself that you have no small "I" and "I" do, and its difficult to meet until I deal with mine.
  4. We've talked before and I still think some of what I shared is of use, but again these things can be hard and take a unquantifiable amount of time or not. I'd say look for a non-dual teacher, perhaps maybe one is coming to your area, sometimes being in the presence of one who is awake can help you answer what you can not, even without words. Also, don't forget that things change, life is flow, it will change, this period of time that your mind is screaming about and feels horrible, will pass, and thankfully you will say at a future point, that oh that wasn't so bad, I'm glad to be through that and into the new space that opened up. Like I said before I believe, I was in a similar state on and off for a while. Also like Nahm suggested, getting the basics down can help a lot. For example, until I fixed eating to much sugar and also doing a serious yoga training, I couldn't handle energetically a lot of the "deep" I had gone into through meditation and contemplation. Physical foundational elements really help align these new energies and orientation changes I think your going through. Just muster up anything you can and just get yourself into the best shape, health, inward positivity you can (you may have to let go of some spiritual idea's, since some say this kinda stuff is just a ego thing).
  5. Just trying to be personable man, no need to get out there. I was being sincere, do good for humanity with what you've learned, not combative.
  6. Non for permanent enlightenment, but if you want to peek behind the veil with little effort, psychedelics. Although you need to have a intention, perhaps wanting to understanding, void, or fullness, or unconditional love.
  7. Right on man. Keep on preaching your wisdom. You seem to have found something powerful and useful, I'm just sharing what I've learned as well. We don't have to meet eye to eye. What do you do in your day to day?
  8. Let me ask you something. I know you don't seem to like treading into the realm of "infinity/god/purpose", but say its true that everything is God/Oneness/Beingness and as such, a child having a very normal child like life for ten years is God, you think that that avenue of god/child/life experience is bound to the boundaries of the "Simply stating what Is" as you put it. This childs/god life is bound to Compassion is when observation without evaluating/examining/analyzing-effort is no more. Acceptance/condemning fall within the field of time(measure). The reality is analysis, evaluating, is resistance and therefore push compassion off in time. But compassion is without time(the past). Kid/God is just being/Being a kid. Kids analyze, evaluate and make decisions, and thats just that, life. Said kid can be taught to put themselves in other peoples shoes, which can lead to compassion, said kid can go through challenges of someone they use to judge, that can lead to compassion, said kid can be shown that the world doesn't revolve around them which can lead to compassion, being shown to be less judging by showing you do the same thing, can lead to more compassion. All these can lead to Unconditional Love (which I think is what your pointing to, even though i was originally talking about compassion) eventually. These are all connected, and lead to the other, or perhaps undivided/continous (and sometimes can be leapfrogged to the other, since god works in mysterious ways). I know you feel like your just stating What Is, and its just the facts, and anyone can see it for themselves, but can you see that there's more to it than just that, its that and its that+more.
  9. Your sharing some very deep and profound insights/things/reality, however I'm not sure if you are aware that when you share "The reality is analysis, evaluating, is resistance and therefore push compassion off in time. But compassion is without time(the past). " Is itself a perspective that has use and value, but again is limited and confined, because as I see it, one will simply not allow for anything outside of that if that is what you limit reality to. For example your statement that "The reality is analysis, evaluating = resistance is also paradoxically also false, since those things happen in the flow that is living/waking up/human life which lead to the first thing you were pointing to "Compassion is when observation without evaluating/examining/analyzing-effort is no more". They are connected, not separate. Another example, perhaps not helpful and maybe confusing lol The paragraph, kids are great and learn wonderful things that inspire them to go out and make a difference in the world. They encounter difficulties and hardships such as bullies and asshole bosses and bureaucracy, that dishearten them and maybe run them into the ground of frustration. Now, I'm not gonna put words in your mouth, but very often including myself, people who have spiritual awakenings and understand greater depth of reality (as they believe), will translate the above paragraph into a , there is no kid, who learned anything, they were always just a movement of Being in time, and the difficulties they encountered were just in their mind and were due to resistance, and there were no asshole bosses or buerocrates, it was in the seeres eyes, and their disheartening was self caused and is illusion, and yada yada yada. And while yes there is a half truth there, its also just as true and perhaps down to earth and pretty agreed or recognized that what I originally wrote is true, has value and from my experience in this awakening thing, is also true from that angle, as we are the One and only One's who went through the above as it felt and was seen that way, AND we also learned that it wasn't and was both in and out of our hands, in/as this flowing always present thing called Now/Infinity/God. Or at least thats my take....
  10. Sounds like your talking about unconditional love. And all manners of life trajectories and intentions/non intentions can bring one in touch with it, I'd be careful with limiting it to only reachable in one particular fashion/path/religion/non-thinking. It/god is bigger than that. Agreed, but thats a topic for another day
  11. Yes and theres more to it than that as well, as always. I'm pretty sure its impossible to share a full picture of anything. Before the perspective of what your sharing for most (although it can happen at any time) analyzing, evaluating and examining can lead to compassion as well, its important to understand this as well I believe.
  12. Only so much can be effectively said to someone over the internet in a paragraph. Ya lifes more complex than this, but writing a million page essay to get all angles isn't always helpful. bejapuskas seemed to resonate and get something usefull out of the response and thats hopefully growth. But a lot of what you said is also useful for the right person at that particular moment shared, possibly. More specifically to your comment on suffering, I agree with much of what you said, and my use of embracing was more about to describe not avoiding, relate to it in a way that is healthy instead of its a problem or to be a victim to it. A potential trap within what you shared though is an idea that you can step out of suffering, sure minimize, but step out completely (maybe maybe maybe, but I dont know if its a healthy goal), but this can lead to not being satisfied if you still have shreds/slivers/some suffering still that you can't figure out/shake/transcend. To accept suffering is oddly to suffer less, but I'm sure you've seen this. Cheers, and happy holidays.
  13. Ya pretty much. Hopefully it leads to more compassion and understanding of other and self.
  14. well said, and thanks for the reminder. To many people get caught up in something in particular.
  15. Who said it didn't? This is just as "deep", as "deeper" and the deepest is just as important as the mundane.
  16. I would say stop worrying about stages and where your at. They are not there to be transcended as though its a temporary negative holding place to get past into the next one. Each stage is relevant and a avenue for life. Embrace the life, the you and the heart/desires you are with right now. Be kind, honest and thoughtful as your able. Don't over think your life. What do you want now? How can you accomplish that? Go do it. Don't do it because someone told you, you have to evolve into stage green/yellow or become enlightened because thats what lifes about, and if you don't you will be unhappy and doing your life wrong. Again life isn't about moving up a spiral, its about living now, embracing you, the suffering and joy thats apart of it.
  17. Really good post and I feel its pretty spot on in a lot of respects. However something I think is important to also understand is the qualities your asking everyone to uphold are hopefully the qualities people are doing the work to achieve or fall into through their spiritual pursuits. Most people in the world didn't come into it with such qualities nor were raised, went to school with or go to work with cultures who uphold such qualities. Just because Leo is teaching stuff on Non-duality doesnt meant everyone whos watched all the content (a lot haven't) are going be able to be the above type of people. So have patience, understanding and make posts like this to hopefully make people aware.
  18. Are you feeling a pull from within to let go of certain things and are wondering if you want to trust this spiritual/enlightenment processes? Or are you thinking of exploring this area for a particular reason but not sure of it due to what you said? If so, why are you curious about this area of life? What are you hoping to find or change in your current one? It's important to get clear on this, since the spiritual path is not for everyone and this is not a negative, its just the course of life for "You". A lot of people hear about this enlightenment stuff and due to the teacher or whats said it can come across or is directly said to be the most important thing and if you dont your life will be meaningless, but this is not the case (bible preachers use to do this). Some souls/forms of creation are here to have a family and learn that leason, others are to be artists and create learning those lessons. Look inside and find what you want the most, but run away from things that may scare you.
  19. I went through this stuff and still do to an extent for the last 20 years and I attribute it to all of the above. It seems the changing/evolving of perception/energy/wisdom is a never ending thing for me, which has taken a long time for me to accept since its been a real cause of pain and bliss, but somehow the mind holds onto pain more for me, atleast subconsciously it seems.
  20. Theres a good chance they will probably teach the next generation on the monistary, but you never know with this stuff. The world will continue to spin, life will continue to evolve and the inifinite universes will continue to Be. Said monk may serve a greater purpose at that point or they may just relax into life and live and die like anyone else.
  21. What do you mean you are enlightened? Can you elaborate? It could be a spiritual shift of some sort that is making it hard for you to adjust. A lot more info would help.
