  1. What’s your overall goal first of all. Then from there look at if your meditation practice is growing fruit ? towards that
  2. Ok, I see how your using the question now. Really fascinating because that saying at least in my observation can and has been used to mean that the symbol or word is not the actual thing but a Pointer to materialistic belief of truth or a description of subjective experience which isn’t the actual feeling experience of it. Where as your using the the same statement to point to Truth actually.
  3. And to elaborate more. And this is just a hypothesis in the works. But this statement is one that makes sense and holds truth to someone at a certain place in understanding and awakening but not in the same way as one who’s moved past that consciousness of seeing. But for one whose more in concreteness of things potentially can pull said individual into a more clearer seeing of reality as it is and is ising ( ya I just made that word up). Because interestingly enough the implications of what this statement is pointing towards, the word symbol can be replaced with ‘experience or ones experience’ and it leads to a similar awakening. Again until all that’s left is god understanding. Both sound like the Neti Neti route honestly as I’m writing this and are as you may know powerful awakeners to this strange world of not it’s and yet IT/You/I as the leftover or remainder.
  4. But could it be that a symbol is not a symbol but directly the absolute, that can draw one in to the experience of the symbol since as you know, there are no symbols either, only god/absolute. this is what I’m pointing to. I don’t even think it invalidates what your saying, which isn’t my intention either. I get where your coming from and I’ve seen it from that point of view before as well (and still do) but I’m bringing into question the notion of dualistic and it’s dependency on awakened perspective. Based on what I gathered from your last blog post on omnipresent, you’ve seen what I’m eluding to and perhaps much like I’m going through it’s having a fundamental shift in how one phrased and used notions that seemed inherently absolute and true.
  5. Man I love these metaphors. The more I awaken the more I’m amazed at how some of the new and old in this instance, ability to phrase something that so hits the nail on the head. That metaphor is so true in a experience that has been going on strong for me in the last few months now, which in a non verbal level is just seen but when expressed so far is in my opinion only moderately satisfactory. But that metaphor is so spot on and much more brief then my attempts. Love it.
  6. I believe I get what your saying and have felt and experienced the nature of language on experiencing and how it pulls towards duality, creates pain and contraction in right/wrong true/false and this/or that I’ve also felt how almost inherently in using language (and maybe this varies from society to society, which Alan Watts has led me to believe with one of his analyzations of symbols and meaning usuages with Eastern thought and Chinese dialect) is this already assumed belief and starting point of a separate and concrete ‘me/i’ and ‘others’. However could it be that the dualisticness is less to do with the language and more to do with the degree of awaking. This would be true for the one using it and also the one interpreting. I feel this more and more as the normalcy of oneness sinks in
  7. Oh man this is gonna be good. Prepare to be confused. Everyone has their own idea and opinion of what they call ego, see as ego inside themselves and call as ego as they see in others. Some will overlap, some won’t some will conflict another. This is true if you asked about absolute, enlightenment or any other subject. If you want to explore deeply what I’m saying prepare for some interesting what the fucks inside yourself and in regards to human life as a whole. You may go a little mad and then you may laugh a sigh of relief like you never knew was possible.
  8. A lot of good tid bits of usefulness for people.
  9. @Leo Gura Great video, lot of deep stuff. The only thing I'd add is to what you said is that from my experience there comes a time in which there is no going in to find a god head (or out), there is nothing that is not god/head, the experience of those phenomenon (going in or out) and the differences that are experienced as such, visible and known (the appearance of differences, spiritual experience vs mundane everyday, more conscious vs less conscious, what is known as god vs what is just its forms and not god) are itself god/head.... Another thing that I found is God tricking itself is not a negative (it may not be a trick), its not a problem, its not something to see as wrong that has happened, that "people" are deliberately" deluding themselves. There are no people, but god happening as it wants to, living the human experience, the dog experience, the alien experience and in my opinion is to be celebrated, met with heart and love of myself.
  10. Maybe you beat yourself up for not getting to where you think you should be or becoming who you think you really are.
  11. Ya when you realize your inquiring into you and the only problems are you, and that the problems aren't problems...and never were.
  12. lol haha no you get it and why I and some others have been saying your trying to rationalize it to much, stop figuring out so many details....
  13. So I made this video in response to wage slavery and it turned into more that I think is really important for people feeling victim to their situations or depressed and confused (like I was in my life). I was depressed and semi suicidal at one point in my life and I share this towards the last part of the video, and things I learned.
  14. Nice post, things I've thought to death of in the past with conclusions that have changed and continue, but wanted to chim in a few things for those who bother to read this to muddle over. First isn't materialism only proven to itself by the subjective verification of its actuality? I mean there isn't a "True" objective vantage point one can stand to see material as actual, or even actual by its own definition. It's only verified by the experience itself of it..... I made my first post on this forum going into this view. About science creating life with subjective experience, well it wouldn't surprise me if it happened. Scientists are not separate from the hand of god. I see no reason that we could not reach a point in which some scientists accidentally put some organic material say a tree fungus/mushroom, some human brain goo, and some circuit board like stuff, and then boom just like subjective consciousness somehow was born on earth, we accidentally do the same thing in a lab, and then we reverse engineer it. And perhaps we are not "Creating" the subjective capacity, we are allowing one that is already present to be able to speak through a new form or perhaps its a one that feels like it was just born and doesn't know what it is.... Just some food for thought. In regards to your statement the universe is a "just Be" or Being and I know your not saying this exactly, but I just want to stress that this is also a idea of sorts one in which is often heard and then creates people doing nothing, or sitting, trying to empty ones self of mind, feelings, thoughts, intentions, desires, interests. And this is not Being (well it is of sorts, but the being of doing that, and not the Being of surrender allowing creativity, love, interest, exploration, adventure to arise spontaneously, and yes sometimes the expression of surrender is to sit, and let go of cravings and urges that are pain inducing, and more.... and dont let yourself go into shit I'm not doing IT correctly). Good post.
  15. Huh would of thought this would connect with a lot of people here.
  16. So this is a follow up video from last weeks, going more into how suffering can happen, traps that can come up in dealing with it, and lessons I learned along the way that helped me out. It may a little all over the place and you may need to watch a few times if you find it helpful, since I touch on multiple different angles regarding suffering. Let me know what you think or any questions....
  17. @Shin @Natasha @WelcometoReality Thank you and glad you guys got something out of it.
  18. Look at this from a very straight forward human way. No results in 3-5 years drop it there are a ton of other thing to work on if your interested in waking up. Id give up meditating and put some attention on doing stuff you enjoy genuinely for a while. See how that effects your depression. Then once you feel more stable look into this spiritual thing again. If you don’t mind what is the suicidal depression stuff about. Just feelings thoughts. Genuine intentions? Maybe some perspective would help.
  19. Last thing you want to do is get really upset that you haven't experienced love, no need to make yourself upset over something you dont even know about or focus on a lack of experience. Your 15, you love your family you probably have experienced small types of love that your not recognizing (maybe I'm wrong), but give it time. Lots of love is overated, appreciation lasts longer and is something that can be found almost anywhere because it comes from you. Love from the soul and deep deep within from god is something on another level, and your not alone in being disconnected from this, but again dont stress over it. keep open, watch some videos on Ram Dass, he may give you a taste of this love I mention.
  20. @cetus56 reading that brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Jhajahajahahahaha.........all of them are true awakening.
