  1. @Joseph Maynor That's obvious, but what does it mean in practicality in your opinion?
  2. @PetarKa Try doing that, you will most likely repel more people than you will actually attract, it's been done before, I can go deeper, share my experience with this approach if you wish People will only start solving their problems once they are impossible to handle, they have to go through hell. I used to think just the exact same way as you do, but it cannot really be helped this way... If a person needs to improve their life, they will search for what they need. An average person doesn't know about Spiral dynamics and Enlightenment, so they will probably search for something like „How to make a girl squirt“ These videos are actually easier to find, just because they have millions of views Then they will think, they Leo is probably a dating coach, so they will click on his profile and see all this high level stuff. The serious people will try to find out how did one go from giving a dating advice to talking about the 10 ox-herding pictures... The less serious people will just do a face-palm and continue suffering, until they experience another tremendous pain. There is nothing to worry about... Please, don't go around and tell people what to do, they will hate you - reality is not linear, it's counter-intuitive.
  3. @Space I honestly don't know what to think about him, he fits into so many categories, that describe a cult leader, but he kind of doesn't build a cult, at least now. It's just the way he criticizes, but even that is kind of disappearing... It's as if he had multiple personalities in different videos, very strange. He is a very nice person to talk to, he is clearly trying to help, but his ego is too big.
  4. The whole thing about „awkward silence“ is very annoying... If one has nothing useful to say, just don't talk right? But you cannot expect this from all the people around, because this bias is very popular... It is not weird to stay quiet. Sometimes when I am with my friends, we are just quiet for minutes and it doesn't feel awkward at all
  5. Notice how you have to enter the fantasy world in order to feel the lust... Most people don't need to relapse so many times, but they still do, because they are pleasure seekers. Being a pleasure seeker is not worth it, so much of your energy fades away when you ejaculate, you can probably feel that.
  6. @Haloman Yes, that's the area where he shines @Joseph Maynor I am open to that, but I don't know to what extent is his ego really healthy. What do you mean by this?
  7. @PetarKa I get that you want to help Leo spread his content but hear me out on this, I tried telling people who I thought were at the right place to hear this, but the succes rate was probably like 5 % and the complete failure rate (people thought that I am a weirdo) was like 4 times higher... Therefore I think, that you can probably tell someone about it, but only to very rare people, who are OBVIOUSLY interested or are at least solid stage green. (this is a good indicator for me, don't mistake compassionate people for green people, it's easy, but it doesn't work so well) I like Shin's approach the most Just live a good life, that's the best thing you can do.
  8. Yes, I cannot visit more than about 2 threads at a time, because if I do so, the server is unapproachable for me... Sometimes I cannot even access it.
  9. Guys, do you have any strategies to be consistent in the long term with your nofap? Do you just become able to control yourself after some time? My record is like less than 3 weeks and I think that I can go further than that My results are through the roof even with this little practice.
  10. While reading this, don't think that you got it all clear, contemplate about it, write your actual thoughts down and go to the real core of your psyche, don't fall into your own trap
  11. I got into a „serious“ relationship when I was 13, I thought it would last forever and I cried in front of the whole class when it ended after 2 months, I even lost a bet with my friend, that it would last at least 10 years. I was fucking stupid This was 2 years ago and without it, I would've been lost completely in my life, there would be next to no suffering, as it was all going well till then and I would have absolutely no motivation to grow, because I had this massive ideology about everything. I think that it is one of the best things you can hurt yourself with Using a journal to contemplate is also a VERY effective thing to do, don't underestimate it. If you actually write down your thoughts HONESTLY, you will learn so much about yourself. Sometimes your mind is so slippery, that it wouldn't allow you to see some aspects of it, unless you make them substantial.
  12. I went to a Chinese course and met a cool guy, he looked so balanced and at peace. Later I found out, that he practices Chi Kung.
  13. @Conceptually-made Ty thinks, that if Leo says something, all of his audience is gonna do it immediately that day, that's wrong. Some things you gotta learn yourself, Leo cannot just give you everything you need, did you forget that you need to do the work inside? TJ forgets to mention some important things as well, no one is perfect at teaching. Some of his insights are legit and he is a REALLY good motivator, but the way he does thinks stinks. You need to take these teachers with a little bit of salt, both TJ and Leo, question them, do the practices, but stay detached, going into this ego-driven climb the hill kind of life, that TJ is proposing is a downgrade from detachment.
  14. @Ampresus Agreed. You probably have more knowledge than your classmates, but please, stay humble and don't judge them, it is VERY easy to create a whole identity from all this development and turn it into an actual degradation. Focus on presence and breath It's not only about how many productive habits you can fit into 24 hours, do things mindfully, enjoy life, be grateful, this stuff often gets forgotten on the way.
  15. @Conceptually-made He gives quite a big emphasis on ideology, but pure theory just is not enough, those people have to learn it by direct experience most of the time
  16. @Conceptually-made Do you feel good, when parts of you are dying? Do you feel good when you are learning something new about yourself?
  17. @Joseph Maynor I think that he fits Leo's definition quite precisely + many people on this forum are getting converted and self-decepted by his teachings, I think that it is important to learn about what he is doing and point out all the red flags.
  18. @Enizeo It's ok that you don't know Some of his advice is legit, but here's some stuff that I learnt about him: He has a huge ego, tells so many lies about the world, for example that he has Leo's personality test score, is reffering to some questionable studies and researches, he is a zen devil, throws people into his own social media type of thing, is all about climbing to the top, offers free coaching for young people (this could either be that he thinks, that they are easy to manipulate, or he is just trying to help them in his own way), he is just too nice to everyone (I may be paranoid, but he is just simply too nice, it's suspicious), is offering you to join his company, he monopolizes the „Truth“, is often talking about bending the rules and being ruthless, talked about the apocalypse and it seemed quite bizzare, tells everyone that he is saving the world with his all star dream team... You probably see where I'm going with this. I honestly think, that he doesn't currently have a cult, but his behavior and personality are very likely to drive him into that territory. He has some great insights and is a good motivator, it's really the extremity of it all and the way he is going about things. People like him, who are very very intelligent and know things, that other people don't, can easily build their identity about it and start manipulating people and even though their intentions might have been pure at the beginning, it can turn into any sort of bullshit. Even I have done a similar thing in the past, but I realized it after like a week and trust me, you won't even notice it, when you are doing it, if you aren't conscious enough, ignorance and self-deception is fucking powerful
  19. @ShugendoRa You cannot fit absolutely everything on the spiral, this can happen literally at any stage, be careful not to get self-decepted into judging things and over-thinking the model, it happens to people way too often.
  20. I only disagree with you on the point that he ticks basically none of the boxes Leo mentioned, he actually ticks many of them. Don't you think that we can learn something from this?
  21. Do you exercise? I have the same problem, because I am not tired enough in the evening, perhaps you just need to work more...
  22. Enlightened people are quite charismatic in my opinion
  23. @Wyze I was lucky to get awesome teachers and friends in my early childhood, they have always encouraged me to be creative and original, I could do almost anything I want (in art lessons mostly). Now when I am in high school with different teachers, I can see that they are too strict and it's no good. I think that this approach of teachers can develop your red - you become able to bend rules without breaking them and actually making the result better.
  24. How is the path different for men and women?
