@Toby Young people can now easily encounter other cultures and world views via internet and religion is becoming „outdated“, thus the colour blue is slowly dying off. This however makes darwinian worldviews very popular and it also makes it seem as if people like Richard Dawkins knew it all (in certain cases). You can often see people saying: All it means for a person is to pass on their genes! which is obviously a very deluded approach to life. I mean, the book Selfish gene has helped me to destroy my false beliefs about relationships and ultimately made me go from blue to orange more easily, but if you are planning to live your whole life just chasing these values... You can probably see the problem

@Michael569 He makes videos performing squats in the gym, that is a way more attractive environment, than Leo's black room, he is very masculine, analytical and strong, which appeals to young men and he is very proud of his company, he thinks, that it can solve all of our problems just by showing some numbers, so he makes it seem like it has no mistake at all... This all seems awesome, if you don't think about it. I also had a videocall with him and 2 of his business partners and they are all very friendly people, they motivate you to do the work and they help you to realize what you want and it all ACTUALLY makes sense, they don't even criticize Leo that much, when you talk 1 on 1 with them. But then they make a video like that from this week and you go like whaaaat, they are saying something different everytime you hear them talking.

@Viking Of course, if you are ego-driven, you cannot experience gratitude, because you don't live in the present moment, you are striving for more, which keeps you away from what you already have NOW. Don't think of Enlightenment as something, that will satisfy your ego, that's bullshit.

It's not that you should thoughtlessly believe others, but you also shouldn't only believe yourself like that, do you see it? There is a big self-deception going on, this all is ego - it cannot be satisfied in the present moment, but that's exactly the place you have to go to in order to find happiness. If you ask a question here and you are just waiting for others to prove your points... what do you expect? Contemplating your own death can show you the hidden love inside you, it is very important, don't take survival for granted. When you walk for a long time, you become tired, that's why you sit And you can also take your time to just look around. @Viking Yes, but don't try to understand this logically. Try contemplating „your“ death and walking in solitude (like Eckhart Tolle, try sitting down at different places, even though you probably shouldn't if you live in a cold country, as you might get sick now in winter haha), these two methods have really helped me. I also recommend you to focus on your breath throughout the whole day, it is mindblowing how much of an effect it has on you Good luck

@Viking That means, that you are too concerned about your survival and ego. If you are at peace, everything around will look like art and breath will be all you need to feel happy The ego will dissolve naturally...

I agree with TJ on the point, that we shouldn't just think, that we are gonna do well, because it's not gonna happen, unless we practice a lot. That's what Leo is saying too though, it's just not that expressive, not that many people take it seriously in my opinion. I also think, that this path shouldn't lead us away from „reality“, but we should become more disciplined, humble and conscientious in the process - and that is what isn't really happening to many of us, including me to a degree. He is obviously resentful and egotistical, but I feel like what we are doing here is lacking self-reflection (of this whole forum) in some areas... Leo has outgrown most of his audience, we need to escalate to really understand him.
