  1. @MLKFan I got out from it by preaching SD to people to the extent, when they started calling me insane and only thinking in colours and I realized, that it is nonsense to live like that It can definitely help, but I don't think it should be the thing to worry about the most.
  2. I think Leo should address the importance of actually having a direct experience of all these insights, because when he tries to conceptualize them, people try to grasp them using mind, which sucks. I don't think people committing suicides here is ok you know?
  3. I mean, most of my martial arts knowledge comes from watching Naruto, so yeh... but how is this legit? I know it somehow is, because it is Peter Ralston, but what is that magic? It seems like it could never work in a fight, maybe you could use it to push people away from a queue to get your lunch quicker.
  4. @Anirban657 Drop the desire of wanting or thinking as if you were becoming yellow. It might might be just another craving of the ego, that is trying to survive, by pushing itself higher in the hierarchy or whatever it means to you. I don't know if that is truly your case, it's just that many people, including me, have once fallen into that trap.

  6. Sometimes doing the opposite of what you are trying to achieve gets you the most results. By working on myself, I've become able to be more compassionate, funnier, happier... And then, when people see that they can open up to me or whatever they are looking for in a friendship, we genuinely build a better relationship from that. Working on myself has also made my current relationships with most of my friends a lot better in my opinion.
  7. @lnfinite You are still not fully yellow. Part of being yellow is detachment from your ideas, which is clearly not where you are at right now, it causes all the annoyance with other people... Your cognitive understanding might be deep, but you always know more than you can embody. With relationships... Try not to judge people so much maybe? I understand, that when you see someone taking drugs or drinking too much alcohol, they are definitely not an ideal partner, just because they value their health too little. But there are so many amazing people, but you don't see them, because you think they are „lower colour“ than you. Try doing more social networking, go to social events and stuff, there is so much growth to be explored there.
  8. @RaZor47 Do you have fears, morals, prejudice, judgements...? These are all caused by unhealthy individualism. You can work on getting rid of them one by one.
  9. @lnfinite Hey buddy, I understand what you're going through right now. I also had this issue with friends, I tried to indoctrinate this idea of growth into them, but it made more damage than it helped. Later I realized, how proud, selfish and undeveloped I was. I was desperate to help everybody else, without first taking care of myself. Maybe that's is similar to your situation as well? I also have sexual cravings, and I've never had sex before. It really sucks, I cannot really meditate nowadays because of it. Maybe it is just something that happens to us guys in this age... Just make sure not to use someone for sex, as it might ruin their lives... Girls don't like guys who only talk about colours by the way, that's an important lesson that I learnt by doing exactly that hahahahhahahaha
  10. @Paul92 Oh yes, go and talk to her. She really wants to help you I remember a time, when I prayed for someone... I really loved that person. Take a break from all these stupid concepts for a while... If something is not helping you, just throw it away. Maybe you should find a different teacher. Leo is heavy on this describing Consciousness, but it causes many people headaches, I remember being in the same stage as you are right now...
  11. @Nivsch I am not a politician, so I don't really know what kind of strategy will I choose. Also we need to first go through stage green. I always set one goal, like start meditating, start going to the gym, connect with interesting people and worked on it every single day. She began to see that I am starting to be genuinely happier and nicer (even though I had many ego backlashes in the process) and got interested. Do you not know what is zazen meditation? You should google it It focuses on breaking pride and bad thinking habits. Edit: My main stage is probably green and my parents are mainly blue

  13. @Nivsch I tried to move my mum up the spiral by talking, it didn't go well. Then I stopped talking and started doing. Today is my birthday and she said that she admires me for what I do everyday. She even sat with my in zazen once, I think she will start practicing regularly very soon. I know it's hard to influence more people than just your family, but you would have to work really hard and be careful about it (go for it, if you feel like it's your purpose). Also I think that younger generation is a lot smarter in general so we are good, just don't do something totally stupid, like nuclear war.

  15. @mandyjw It might be caused by being exposed to electronics before sleep, overeating or too much excitement probably. I usually fall asleep right after

I still have problems, but a lot less fears and confusion. You just need to be consistent with it and everything is going to go great for you.
  18. @Yahya Hey dude, I am 15 as well and I think I might have already overcome some of the issues you are having right now. First of all, what do you usually do in your day? Do you do sports, or meditate, or do a lot of meaningful socializing? Or do you waste your time on facebook and stuff? My advice on this would be to focus on 2 things, write them on your door or something and never skip a day. Also as other people are saying, every single moment is the right time for self-actualization, you can learn from everything that happens to you. Don't neglect the usual stuff, like social skills, exercise, practical skills... I did this mistake in the past and then I learnt how much I have been missing on. Also keep working on your intellect, you want to have it sharp - do your best at school, play chess, cook your own meals, create art, whatever you like... Another advice from my side would be to stay 100% honest to yourself about your life. Lying about your growth to yourself and others is bs, it is one of the worst things you can do. I used to organize meetings where I would tell people about spiral dynamics and spirituality, but then I would go home and watch low quality anime, scroll memes etc... Stay humble, work on yourself, you cannot really help others, if they don't ask you for it.
  19. @pluto8 I know people who went from regular cigarettes to vaping and became even more addicted. They are bullshitting you. It is better if you do it less often, but it is very hard to say when you should stop, when you are addicted to something. The best thing would just be to stop as soon as possible.
  20. @mandyjw Oh yeh, thanks Do you know something about why do people wake up at night? I have a regular sleep schedula (8 pm - 6 am) but I often wake up at like 1 am or 4 am...

  22. Oh yeh, I see... I get hungry really quickly after eating like a banana or something, you are right I will probably get back to using cronometer... I stopped doing it, probably because I was working on my spiritual and mental development more. (my mind wasn't free enough to work on anything else) How do you run? I usually do like a mile before training, but I think that's too little, I can definitely do it better and more often you know...
  23. @Michael569 It kind of hit me into the eyes, because I know you are more about hollistic health and he is more about looks and strength. (in my opinion at least) Later in my life I'd also like to stop consuming animal products, but now it is hard. Also I am not really that much concerned about my micros, even though maybe I should be... It's just that now I am making this transition and exercise and overall diet is more important to me I am excited to bring it to the next level though.
  24. @Michael569 I watched some of his videos, I really like them, maybe I will even buy AX-1 later You're vegan, right? How do you go about it in the programme? Do you create your own meal plan, or do they have a solution for that? How do they adapt in general? Now I often think about what can I do better. I mean, there are many things that I could do, like real yoga, Wim Hof method, but diet is like so complex. I think I can follow my feeling pretty well, but I need some more concrete facts. Do you have some good book recommendations or tips that I could use to solve this problem? Maybe I am too much of a perfectionist, but I mean, it's my health...
