This is exactly why you suffer. You are trying to reconstruct that, which is dysfunctional.

If you didn't have parents who hugged you everyday when you were a baby, you would probably be depressed and miserable. The highest forms of understanding are not intellectual.

@Yellow_Girl Yellow is a made up thing, if spiral dynamics didnt exist, you would still suffer.

@flume I would highly recommend you to go deeper into what Leo has said. When he calls people devils, it is not like he is trying to put you down (even though it usually does ), he wants to trigger that uncomfortableness in you, he wants it to surface in your consciousness, go deeper, don't just run away! Here are some good videos for you to watch:

Many people here write a lot of very embarrassing messages, some of them don't even realize, that they do this. The fact, that you already try to do your best, when writing these texts and being open and honest is a sign of maturity. I think that most people here change a lot, because they are working on themselves. If they weren't changing, it would suck for them But we can learn by communicating and sometimes we do mistakes. But do we care? Do we create prejudice about other people here? That would be hypocritical, given that we are a serious spiritual community. Also, many people here have very tough past and they don't care about what some girl is writing, they don't look at your profile, they are just trying to help I don't think, that you have to worry. You will probably see many people having backlashes, which they then overcome, and also some very smart people, who just won't judge you. People aren't so forgiving on social media like facebook and instagram. Who are you?

Breathing with one nostril is something totally different, at least for me... I think that you need to control it, before it becomes natural. Then, when you become good at it, you can become a swing door, that just lets the wind blow in and out. -
Have you tried talking with him about it? Try to find his attachments, his fears, make them surface by questioning him.

It is really difficult not to trail off on the spiritual path. It's important to be non-needy and independent, but enjoying people's company and getting help from your loved ones is absolutely ok. Maybe he should contemplate this issue, what is he scared of, what is he running away from?

We are just humans, we can do mistakes, not everybody fits into your definition of smart. If you expect this to be like this, it is a problem. Maybe there are still many things for you to learn from not-smart people, just be patient.

If you just keep practicing, breathing deep into the stomach will become natural, just be consistent with it. Do you think, that people have to take you seriously, that you are something more now? -
What about just throwing this model away and pay attention to the things, that are causing your suffering, rather than trying to fit into some category?

wow thanks, I was first introduced to this kind of breathing in a zen book. I never thought about going from sleep state into meditation, maybe I can try it the next time i wake up late at night -
This sounds really accurate, could you please elaborate more on that specifically?

Hey dude, I struggled with this same problem too in the past. Fortunately, I have many friends who have healthy manifestations of the higher colours and they helped me solve it. I will try to divide this into points of possible... I dont know if this is going to work for you, but I hope I can help At the time, I was also very much concerned with the development of the people around me and I only wanted to hang around with tier 2 people. I also used to preach spiral dynamics to people who seemed to be interested. (they actually were not, but my mind was projecting things) One of the many advices was to stop building these castles in the sky, stop thinking about things so much, clean up my information intake, ignore confused people, rather than coming up with theories that I created from my observations every single day, watching all sorts of wierd youtube videos and talking to selfish people... I had to let go of this stuff. This other thing that I learned was to stop trying to fix the lower tier people. Stop thinking, that they are interested in your complex problems and contemplations, stop assuming, that they want to grow without ever having to suffer, stop pretending that you are so interesting. I don't know if this is your problem, but be open to the possibility, that there is some reason for this mainstream, it is not all that corrupt, there are many things that you can learn from ordinary people, sometimes they can spot some bullshit that you are unable to find. Seriously, don't disrespect them. I also learnt, that the thing that Leo says about yellow, that it is a lone wolf, doesnt really apply to me. I enjoy laughing with friends, having meaningful conversations, setting up all sorts of meetings and going after growth opportunities, which are associated with people. Try talking to the chefs at the restaurants you go to, try being warm towards people right of the bat when you meet them, it really helps. Don't make this „enthusiasm“ into an excuse to not talk to people, that is not healthy in many cases. I don't really know you, but I actually didn't have any of this enthusiasm, when I was basically lonely. Question your teachers, dont take all the things they say for granted, think for yourself, become more feminine, flowing and authentic. Discipline yourself, be consistent in the work. Be radically honest to yourself about the real work that you are doing and about its results, without that you cannot move forward. Observe everything, try to learn from it, stop seeing imperfection in other things, but rather in yourself. Huh, this is getting kind of long, I hope I've helped you at least with some things...

I love you guys ?❤

Hey bro, I see you are pretty confused. There are no „3 ways“ to live life, there are infinite possible ways and you don't have to only choose one, but you can change your path throughout your life. Actually, as you grow, your thinking will change, your attitude towards life will change and your path will change also, therefore growth is not linear, but exponential. But even if everything goes as you expected it to go, your ego will not be satisfied. When you watch a move and you can preditct how it ends, it kinda sucks, right? I am not saying, that you should just ignore everything and let go of everything, this alone will only create more problems. You have to investigate, what works for you. (maybe this is part of the path) If you put a selfish person, a person with lots of beliefs and prejudice about how life should be, into heaven, they wouldn't be satisfied, even if it was literally the best place.

Lately I've been watching some of Sadhguru's content. He seems like a really legit guy, I am fond of him, but sometimes what he says really confuses me It isn't like it triggers me, but I just don't know what he means and I wanna explore further, learn more. An example would be this video: How can you evolve like this? What are these chakras in the body, that are influenced by the Solar system? And all these other things... Have some of you guys tried to dig deeper into this topic? I am curious....

@Devansh Saharan If you see Sadhguru on the road, kill him -
Oh yeh, I still sometimes use it, but there are so many areas of development, which are outside spiral dynamics and you cannot describe anyone properly just by using perentages of colours... even if you took the tones and shades into consideration, it would still be pretty imperfect.

Do you really need that information? I mean, you cannot write it on your portfolio or anything, like I am 50 % green, 20 % yellow, 30 % orange... what's the use of this? Aren't you just trying to be superior to the other colours? I think it is much more useful to orient yourself towards joy, love and fearlessness.
