  1. @Antonius Yeh right. It's a pity that some animes have this old-fashioned animation style that repels young people like me. They're like treasures with masks.
  2. @How to be wise They don't know what they want from themselves, they are usually suffering. They have too much play time at home (computer games) and they don't know where is the way out. This thing that you are preaching is a victim mindset. You also wouldn't know the way, if Byron Katie hasn't shown you. Also for example Leo couldn't show us some of these more advanced and more interesting things, if he was just letting us vote for whatever video he will shoot next week... Also he wouldn't be so enthusiastic about it.
  3. @Shaun Reality wants from you the exact thing that you do, that's the trick. @flowboy Be careful with giving advice, when you have no experience.
  4. @How to be wise I come from a stage blue family, but it isn't like they force me to do religious work at home, I don't even know what that is... And even if I was forced to do it, it's not like it takes 8 hours or something like that. I would drop this kind of spiral dynamics thinking, to me it seems like you just don't want to put the effort into it. Also I don't think that stage orange kids want to learn more, because they are sometimes fans of people like Tai Lopez and they rebel against school, when they can use it to their advantage. To me it sounds like you haven't put enough effort into the classes, because it is a conscious behavior for you, and hus the kids don't even know what more complex things are, you are there to show them, they won't do it themselves.
  5. You can always become a trans-parent if you want Michael
  6. @How to be wise They are already forced to go there, if you then also force them to think about what they will do at school, that is just worse. It's like you go to a birthday party of your friend with high expectations and they ask you: So guys, I have no food, nothing to drink, nothing prepared to do, so what are we gonna do? that sucks right. That is the same case with school. If you just go there and start teaching something that is meaningful, interesting, relatable and you do it in a funny manner, that will bring better results in my opinion. Even the people who normally don't pay attention usually like these kind of teachers.
  7. @Monkey-man Huh that's some observation... I totally missed that-tebayo!
  8. @How to be wise I disagree, that's not how a conscious teacher looks like, that's more like lazy teacher who does no preparations for the lessons. I also thought like this, but it is just nonsense, you rapidly loose all the respect from the kids and they won't even listen to you later on. You cannot really think, that they are on the same mental level as you with all the interests... Some of them probably haven't even kissed yet, they are newbies to life. You need to show them what is interesting. Sometimes they actually know so little about the topic, that they cannot even form a good question, you see?
  9. Guys I am kinda lost, when you talk about conscious teachers, what exactly do you mean? Why would they fire them? I have no experience with this.
  10. @Bryanbrax Yes (in some episodes there is depth to it though)
  11. @How to be wise Maybe they are not motivated to learn because you don't take this approach? I am not saying you're wrong, just throwing out ideas... Here are some good teachers I found on youtube, by the way I hate physics, but I watched the entire video Also it is not like people don't want to learn in general, like you could give an exact number, but they actually have their teacher favourites and their grades differ a lot from subject to subject, they are very unmotivated in one subject, but very curious in another...
  12. On a second thought, there is no profundity in Goblin Slayer
  13. @nistake These look amazing, you really read me well hahahaha I was kind of scrolling the list and reading all the text, while being amazed by each of them... And then I realized, that when you are asking yourself deep questions and are looking for serious answers, you see depth in literally everything. For example Mirai Nikki is an anime that you can watch for 2 reasons: 1) You have a crush on Yuno or 2) You see all the different survival strategies and how they interact and how incredibly complex and profound it is....
  14. @Shaun Try watching some Sadhguru, he can show you how to become joyful and loving without Enlightenment
  15. @Stephen Is a perception of a colorblind person less „real“, than the „normal“ perception? I've asked myself what is real and I've come to the conclusion, that what most people call real is that, which is either the most frequent, or that which fits the survival of the self the best. Think about it, if you have a hallucination, it is a valid experience, you cannot neglect that you see it, it is just that you cannot efficiently move around with it and survive with it etc... Imagine a world, where there would be a certain gene, that would give a person 24/7 mushroom consciousness and still made their body survive in some way, how would that work, would it be „normal“ and „real“ if most people lived ĺike that for their whole lives and were able to communicate it? This what you see right here is just an experience, which appears. All of this is just an experience being experienced, including you and your body, you cannot escape it, because you are it.
  16. @Natasha The same people who sell that are known for faking being in Chernobyl, throwing a firecracker into a bus etc... They are well known idiots in Czech Republic Oh and they are also „treasure hunters“, which means that they are sailing on Vltava with a magnet and picking up old stuff and sometimes money and then they sell their „professional equipment“
  17. @nistake Same with Fullmetal alchemist... I always stay on the mainstream anime like Naruto, Death Note, Attack on Titan... but they are mainstream for a reason Maybe I should try out the less popular ones!
  18. @flowboy I am not saying you shouldn't work on relationships and self-esteem, that's important, but Enlightenment work isn't only about the end result, you can become much more aware and grateful even for the little things in the process and also it is not like you „finish“ the work, it's a constant effort, which is well worth it. It's just that it is hard to do if you base all of your happiness on getting laid.
  19. @abrakamowse Omg that's so genius. I know some youtubers who sell „cursed“ stuff, like dolls and doctor's equipment. They usually buy it and then damage it and make it dirty and then they sell it with some made up story. Mostly children buy it probably.
  20. @RawJudah Every person is looking for the same thing, Alan Watts calls it „the goodie“ They just use different strategies to find it. I think that this „it's the ego's fault“ is just more ego, it is like blaming yourself, but indirectly, because you cannot withstand it.
  21. lmao @kieranperez I wonder how many of these boxes would you have to use every day in order to survive on them... Maybe it could actually be a good business.
  22. Maybe you should put more of your creative energy into your lessons, so they are more interesting and that they seem meaningful to the students, if it doesn't seem meaningful, of course they won't have any questions. When I say that some teachers keep everyone interested, I mean everyone, the people who get C- and below as well. Trust me, I teach children and also adults and when I actually do some preparation (it isn't all that time consuming) the lesson is much better for everyone. I am not saying you shouldn't quit the job, but you can definitely do better. If you don't inspire them, show them meaning, and then you want them to start the initiative... Think of it as a relationship, relationships don't work like that. I think you can make any subject interesting if you understand it well enough
  23. @Gili Trawangan In my experience, if I really want to grow, I need to make some effort with my attention, it is not like you go high and then it stays like it. That is really hard to do, when all of your energy is used on seduction and thinking about sex. It is extremely hard to stay detached and undistracted, probably almost impossible.
  24. @Elham I also have this, I had this feeling of superiority when I started and I felt like I am 100 years ahead of everyone, but now it feels like the consciousness of young people is evolving so quickly that you cannot even really stay at the „top“, so any pride is destructive on this path, it usually leads to hyprocrisy, selfishness and lack of attention.
  25. I know some good teachers, who can make almost anyone interested... But they usually don't let us play, they don't really show weaknesses, unless we've already become friends, it's like they are very strict, they make us disciplined, and then when they see that we've changed, they start to trust us. And also their lessons are really interesting, like it is obvious that they are smart and when someone makes a mistake, they try to find some truth to it. (like yellow thinking) Hope this helps for all the teacher wannabes here
