As @Elham you need to listen/read as much as you can, even though I would suggest you start listening more(you didn't mention how good your listening skills are). Before you start speaking you need to accurately understand all the English sounds because when it comes to English pronunciation is very important. The "root" as you call it it's basically understanding that a language it's something sub-conscious for example; you don't need to think about grammar when you speak your native language the words just come naturally to you. Another example's just how you are capable of understanding someone without stopping and translating you just make an instant connection and it's almost impossible for you to not understanding even if you try lol. So after a certain amount of hours of listening you will be able to speak almost naturally without making mistake(because you listened to native speakers saying that countless times). So is that it? Nope I would recommend learning how to use Anki and learn the most used phrases in English with flashcards 20 new cards a day it's enough - not the most fun thing to do but it's good for your discipline and you will see results as you go through The last advice, due to the fact that you have to do an exam, go watch videos on youtube of what the exam will be like and prepare in advance some answers to their questions(or understand the structures and useful keywords). And if you don't have yet a good pronunciation or it takes you a long time to come up with words, just don't speak because that way you are habituating yourself to do mistakes and pronounce incorrectly, instead listen a lot for at least 1 month while not speaking a word. Then if you see improvements go ahead practice what've said. Good luck

Excpet some ideas that he has, I think that touches good points that other PUA don't talk about. As far as I know fondamentally Derek: Teaches a game based on honesty He focuses heavily on BEING instead of DOING He knows that getting laid is not the solution to all men problems Before teaching game stuff he always assures that you are already taking responsibility for your life This to me seems a very good way of doing pIck up without worrying too much if there's manipulation or not lol Maybe you already know Derek more than me, I would like to know what you think.

@RawJudah I would like to know it aswell

@Leo Gura I agree and also a question that always pops in to my mind is: "how do I recognise that is time to let go of PU?".

If you buy any book that talks about shadow work/emotions is fine too. Julien takes a lot of concepts from other books like: The power of now The sedona method Letting go

@Vitamine Water Keep going bro! Im on day 36 and here are some tips that may can be helful for you: 1) Don't do it for the girls. Do it for the bigger picture. In the long term I aim to live a simple life. So I don't want to have too many addictions on my way, and I center myself even transumting sexual energy into spiritual practices like meditation and yoga. Yes girls are beautiful but feeling good with ourselves is even more important. 2)Don't touch Instagram ever! Or silence every person you follow both the story and the feed, this keeps you from checking it compulsively. 3) Don't fall in traps like "Oh, if i let myself relapse today tomorrow to counterbalance i will start meditating 1 hour everyday!!". That's bullshit, imagine meditating everyday WHILE you are on nofap...that would be even better so pls do yourself the favor I hope this was useful

This one hands down -
Title says everything.. With all these practices what do you think is the proper time that someone should dedicate each day? Leo says that meditation should be don 1 hour a day ideally, but then there are the other practices... Is there someone who does all of them daily? Meditation Self-inquiery Contemplation Kriya Yoga

@Toby You're totally right but I wanted to know you're approaches too @Jonty That's great, you are disciplined as hell! So did you only contemplate without doing extra meditation?(even though contemplation is a sort of meditation too) @noselfnofun Thanks for the tips. Yes I do wake up earlier but I like to study as a first thing in the morning because is one of my top priorities @cetus56 Sorry I didn't get it I am not so advanced -
@F A B Have you watched this? I think it answers to your question in a certain way
-
@c_wave_arts If you have never tried doing cold-approach do it, of course be open to new ideas. But ensure first that you have a strong commitment towards authenticity and Life purpose
-
i mean you can do what you want with your career, the only thing is that it seems a waste to be enlightened and work at Mc Donalds

I have been meditating for a year 20 minutes daily not always but i was pretty consistent, I did a meditation retreat for 10 days and now im trying to meditate 1 hour a day, I did it for a month but now I am a little bit backsliding. -
Have you watched this? If not do so Chasing women and trying to be alpha and macho and social ecc.. will not get you fullfilled in the long term What is fullfilling is live a life that is authentic to you which basically means care about your life purpose and stop caring about others approval and it is inherently attractive anyway so, Instead of watching hours of PU material just work on being happy by yourself and working toward your life purpose or seeking the Truth.
-
Check Reals Social Dynamics RSD Tyler in particular he is one of the best and he is all about not only getting laid but also being more at ease and happy in social situations and in life
-
Try to figure out what is your dream carreer, think about what impact you want to give to the world. You cannot get enlightened while working at Mc Donalds as Leo says. If I were you I would contemplate about what career to take and also pursuing Truth at the same time reading books/Meditating every day/Saving money for retreats ecc..

Do you think he just doesn't care or is he considering meeting the right woman?

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" This quote made me reflect a lot. I have been doing game for almost a year, I knew a lot of good friends and I've pushed my comfort zone a lot. BUT. Listening to what Leo thinks about pickup makes me feel confused. In some videos Leo refers to doing pickup and chasing vagina/partying as a waste of time in the long term. And part of me agrees with him because it's true in a sense, we should pursue our life purpose and commit to it to be really fullfilled. But part of me says that, in the end we have just one life and myself as a young male should go approaching girls on the street and master this skill before it's too late... So there is way in the middle? Is my question. There is a way of doing pickup while following the green values?(refering to spiral dynamics too) When I am stopped by guys in the street telling me to sign for some multi-level-marketing shit that i hate, I feel guilty. BECAUSE IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM DOING TO GIRLS. And If I stop doing pickup, How do I acquire the skills to choose the mother of my children from an abundance mentality? What if then I don't know how to handle relationships because I didn't have the experience that I should have acquired before? So what would be the answer? Working on my life purpose and occasionally talk to some girls in a more sharing frame?(rather than thinking about taking from others) Should I stop going out with wingmen with the sole purpose of approaching girls??? Help. I hope you kinda understood my point.

@aurum Thanks for replying. Yeah, recently I recently I tried to emulate some techniques taught by Todd. So the way he teaches is very different from Tyler for example who is more about inner game. And maybe this brought me to focusing on taking value. Maybe I will first rebalance my life more toward my life purpose and then come back to game using it as way of giving value istead of taking.. Also, who is your favorite instructor?

@c_wave_arts You're probably backsliding because you are too ambitious on your goals (that is not a bad thing per se). You think that you have to do MASSIVE WORK EVERYDAY HUSTLE SHIT to get what you want, that in part is true, but it scares you because you are afraid of all that work. Maybe you don't even have all that willpower (which is totally fine). The solution is making MINI-HABITS, choose 4-5 habits that you think will improve your life purpose make them stupid small (like 1 minute of meditation, read 2 pages of a book, writing 50 word for a book/article) and be consistent! Probably you'll do more than the little commitment established, but that's the point! Now at least you are no more in rest mode but at least you're in a somewhat motion mode. Read the book if you're interested. This is my experience, I hope it will be helpful.

Don't justify your laziness with spirituality or nihilism. Rewatch this video if you feel stuck. By the way Life Purpose shouldn't be something too serious. Life is still meaningless so even if you spend the next 10 years mastering what you think is your passion and ending up failing miserably, that shouldn't be a problem. Life purpose is about enjoying the process while you do it, enjoying the emotional grounded human being that you're becoming little by little. If you feel lazy i suggest you checking the concept of mini-habit and to be consistent as much as you can be no matter how much you feel you're accomplishing.
