  1. @Truth Addict if it were only that easy.
  2. @Truth Addict it means nothing.
  3. @Truth Addict sure is
  4. @Kloof for one don’t resist them, try to open up and feel them fully. Secondly, contemplate what it means to have emotions. Identify what they feel like in the body and see if you can be aware of them coming in and going. Lastly, remember that everything is always changing and you will get past this with time. You won’t always feel this way.
  5. What would a fearless world look like?
  6. @ShivaShakti I’ve experienced Kundalini and I’m not enlightened. I still have fears and I suffer. I think that people confused the stage of meditation called ‘Arising and Passing Away” as a Kundalini which it isn’t. People think after the A&P they’re advanced and done w meditation but nope.
  7. @7thLetter I did the majority of my spiritual practice in the beginning addicted, broke, and while starting a business around my life purpose. I wouldn’t have succeeded without it (spiritual practice) Just dedicate one hour to insight meditation a day. That’s a good start but you can’t miss.
  8. @krockerman your questions are very superficial. “I want this” and “I want that”... you gotta let go of that wanting and striving for something else and be cool with what’s happening right now or you will always suffer. As for the reincarnation, who knows man. Maybe you’ll come back poor and deformed. Will you be happy then? I’d advise you to sit and investigate why you want to be someone else and escape so badly.
  9. @Matt8800 this is very useful thank you so much. I feel a lot better just implementing your words in the present moment right now. I’ll keep at it ??
  10. @Matt8800 yes! I just finished Mastering the Core Teachings by D.Ingram last week. Such a great book. Was really difficult for me to read though, that’s a detailed book to say the least. so you only went through the DK once? Or it took you about a year to work through? Also your advice I think is spot on. I’m going to write it out on my whiteboard in my bathroom. Thank you ??
  11. @jake473 you’re withdrawing my man. Video games was your drug and it was part of your survival, now it’s gone and you feel empty. Your energy will come back with time but you need to start taking action with your life and any areas (like you mentioned) need to be dealt with. Keep following actualized.org and do the practices. Stay positive ?
  12. @TrynaBeTurquoise kratom is highly addictive, especially if you have a history with opiates. I would stay clear of it if you’re relying on it for mood enhancement or get things done. Kratom gets you high, just like popping opiates. I could barely tell a difference between kratom and low dose Vicodin.
  13. @outlandish I would argue that marijuana is also an addictive substance with benefits. Also sugar is addictive and we need that to live so...
  14. @Espaim do you take stimulants like adderall? That will destroy your sex drive.
  15. @SaWaSaurus try stopping coffee and you’ll see. Most things that are bad for us, when we stop them it creates emotional suffering. Drugs, foods, TV, Social Media, talking etc... I’m on day 7 of quitting coffee cold turkey and I hate my life. It sucks bad dude!
  16. @ajasatya @CreamCat secret sauce is psychedelics. These moderators never really tell it like it is. They did lots and lots of psychedelics to grow this much. If you haven’t had a spiritual breakthrough yet then it’s really hard to heed their advice and won’t click for you Yes of course personal development work and spiritual practices but to get to the understanding these people have you must do psychedelics.
  17. @AlphaAbundance try “the universe is a dream” - it’s a comic book but it’s one of the best books for easy to understand enlightenment/spirituality.
  18. @khalifa how do you know it was a kundalini awakening? And of course it will pass.
  19. @Superfluo the best I’ve seen thus far is Daniel Ingram’s book The Core Understandings of the Buddha. He’s an enlightened ER Dr in New York who attained his Arahantship via hardcore meditation, retreats and deep investigation. He researched meditation and awakening like a PHD would do his field of expertise. It’s so detailed it’s almost like it’s written by someone so advanced he’s not human.
  20. @AlphaAbundance let the fuck go! ??
  21. @Raptorsin7 what is self inquiry really but focused concentration on the Self...?
  22. @Superfluo nope this is mediation 101. Learn the maps homie ❤️??
  23. @Raptorsin7 bump up meditations to an hour if you want better concentration results, and id turn off the guided part. Just pick one object like the breath and stay w it. Do Self inquiry as long as you can. And you'll definitely need concentration skills to do self inquiry. Why do you think you don’t? Curious.
