  1. Bingo!!! The body is going to experience what it needs to one way or another. Letting go is fully letting the body experience and accepting it.
  2. You seem to assign much more meaning to it than a pointer. Changing a name out of resistance to the existing name doesn't seem very functional.
  3. Perhaps it is because you don't know where they are coming from. Are they trying to sound smart poetic and enlightened, or is that your own resistance to what they say?
  4. "Realistic" usually tries to balance out optimism and pessimism under egoic constraints. However the peak of this work, everything becomes optimism. There is no negative to reject with pessimism.
  5. @Druid420 I'm saying if you think anything has changed regarding free will by becoming more conscious then you fell into the trap you tried to warn about! There is a deep paradox here and you don't bypass it by becoming more conscious. The unconscious have as much free will as the most conscious. Awareness gives a perceived more control but it doesn't set you apart from the path you laid out for yourself.
  6. This is a tricky thing to navigate. On one side i'd say the people who make dark humor jokes are the ones (Not all ofc) who truly understand how tragic events are. Otherwise the joke wouldn't be funny. It becomes funny exactly because the play on words includes something dark which adds a sort of shock factor. "Dark humor is like food not everybody gets it" would not be funny to me if I didn't recognize people starving as tragic. It takes advantage of the mechanism of using laughter and joy to cope with despair and sadness. Of course not everybody agrees with this, which means such topics has hurt their ego too much they can't even really think about it. Authenticity is good, but that authenticity as you grow in consciousness will also include caring for those around you and knowing when dark humor will and won't cause suffering in others. Perhaps try and surround yourself around people with the same dark humor as you.
  7. ime liquor can be used in a very frequency raising way when you use it to connect with your emotions and have full authenticity. A less intense version of MDMA. Some people get angry, some get sappy and lovey (me), it really shows you what you have pent up inside. Of course the damage it does afterward is a trade-off that has to be noted and done so responsibly.
  8. Even more so good at convincing you when you think you are making a conscious effort!
  9. @pluto Just because you saw a study it doesn't make such things conclusive. Studies can be wrong which is why we need a lot of them and lots of validation. In the US flourosilicic acid is what is used in water not sodium fluoride. Not saying you are wrong. I could be. I'm going the middle route until something I know something more conclusive.
  10. It's a paradox if you must frame it into the model of free will. It depends how much line drawing you do. What is it that's doing things and how is that separate from you? And what separates your will from God's?
  11. You don't crash if that's anything to mention. Caffeine blocks a certain chemical from binding that makes you sleepy but it never actually goes away so you always end up more tired after caffeine.
  12. @remember I don't really buy that fluoride has a negative impact unless you are consuming it in large amounts. Hence why I still use it in things you spit out.
  13. Look at the early videos of any major youtuber and the difference in composure, attitude, and quality says it all for you.
  14. Its probably more of how much flouride you receive. Keep it in your toothpaste but avoid it in water as much as possible is the way I go. Depends on the bacterial biome of your mouth, what you eat, your brushing technique. Bad foods give me cavities fast. My cousins who eat the same stuff get none without brushing for months on end. The main benefit of flouride would likely be for those who got the short end of the stick.
  15. As others have pointed out, you probably experienced this because the coffee was compensating for just an overall lack of health and nutrition to give your body the energy it needs. Any benefit from quitting would be offset by this. So really by quitting coffee it paves way for you to realize just how low your default energy levels are and focus more on improving there.
  16. You create a duality between God and human. This ultimately has to dissolve and you'll find the lost egos who don't have a strong connection to the divine are exactly because of infinite intelligence. So the answer is both.
  17. @Emerald gave me a lot of insights into understanding how the masculine and feminine come together as well as how people work in general. She still posts, but not as frequently anymore. Still, her work is invaluable to me in the past year I have been here.
  18. Apparently there is a whole subreddit dedicated to zizek https://www.reddit.com/r/zizek
  19. Or maybe it's your ego wanting to project he doesn't know for your own amusement of one upping him ?
  20. I'm surprised to hear scandinavia countries are so strict. I would of expected them to be one of the first. I'm really interested in the causes of how places like portugal and switzerland transitioned into seeing it as a health than criminal issue. Are they just further along in green?
  21. Probably good to really define what you mean by random. In the relative it just means an inability to see patterns in something. I'm sure there's a much more elaborate explanation for that. Pattern recognition in of itself is very abstract. We consider many things done by design of God as random when it wouldn't be for the God head. So notions of randomness start falling apart for me because randomness is entirely grounded in how much cognitive ability I have. Could see it as a paradox of God outwit ting itself.
  22. Good on you for giving advice on what you think will help!
  23. @Danioover9000 That's not my logic process just to be clear. The logic is more that removing a wall can help you see the other side of it. Sometimes the wall is yourself and can be pointed to by showing common patterns in behavior. Sorry for the confusion.
  24. I'm pointing to spiritual purification. I think you took me a little too literally. Yes there are exceptions.
  25. It's fine if pointers don't work for you but don't knock it for those it works for. Poking holes in the constructions with other constructions through self inquiry or assisted inquiry helps many drop them or see what they were sitting on. Different strokes for different folks
