  1. A question that cannot be answered unless you experience it yourself.
  2. You sure that isn't just you delving into a mental fantasy of what you wish she'd be? You still want her to be some way. Accepting your efforts won't do any good doesn't necessarily mean you accept how she is.
  3. Let your sister hit rock bottom. She'll know what to do if she really wants out of it.
  4. It emotionally helps me process things that happen to me. And there's the bonding aspect. Some might find it annoying but plenty are listeners. I know sharing helps me and I desire to help people so I'm actually grateful whenever people share with me because I get to help them. Stranger or not I love to be able to listen. You can learn a lot if you really pay attention to how they live.
  5. I was referring to what we know as a species. I'd say more people know their eating habits are bad and choose to not do anything about it than genuinely not know it's unhealthy. @Zigzag Idiot You went onto something I wasn't even trying to get at man. What you are talking about can be such a nuanced topic depending on the angle of perspective I don't have the desire to delve into it right now.
  6. Ahh my bad I misinterpreted. Do you think its less about eating 'properly' but rather the hyper optimization of this? The consistency in an animal's diet often allows the animal to adapt better and better to that. But with our ever changing diet in an effort to optimize this may be an endless effort due to evolution.
  7. Is not having a clue about its role a part of its role though? Hmm So does the child love it or not love it? Conditioning being a method of learning to like something doesn't make it any less valid. We are very adaptable. Have you ever heard of an acquired taste?
  8. First learn to love those who inflict suffering. Learn to accept suffering as a part of this world instead of demonizing it. Learn to recognize your projections of resistance to things you don't like. But on a more practical level, I see synthetic meat as the better solution than veganism. I don't value animals more than I do plants. So meat eating and veganism is a catch-22 for me.
  9. This can also be summed up as 'to exist' I remember candy flipping (lsd+mdma) and it seemed so obvious that my purpose here was to exist in of itself. By existing I always fulfill my purpose.
  10. The ego can be a very abstract thing. Any behavior attributed as a sense of self importance is usually assigned to the ego. Identifying egoic behaviors here is more about correcting ones that inhibit you.
  11. It is more about shifting where you get the stimulation from and management of it than eliminating it. Being in the now is so emphasized because many people get really caught up in past/future thinking and being mindless instead of mindful. You are always in the now but your mind may take you away from focusing on it. If you don't self-introspect into your own behavior you'll miss this easy. With every insight you have it seems so painfully obvious you don't know how you didn't see it before.
  12. Trying to define the undefinable which makes talking about it extremely difficult because the moment you call it anything you define it. Even calling it 'it'
  13. @Hardkill Your life purpose would be your overarching goal to strive for in your life. Does making money resonate with you that deeply? If not then making money is likely just a route you can take in order to fulfill your life purpose. This world is a puzzle and sometimes you gotta work the system to reach your goals
  14. Develop the ego but also develop the ability to look past it into no ego. Some people say you can only have ego or no ego but what if you simultaneously have both perspectives?
  15. @Salvijus collapse the selfless/selfish duality.
  16. Good advice here. If you want to be extra sure I know there are some labs you can send samples to and they'll test it for you.
  17. Affirmations are all about reprogramming the subconscious through repetition. One of the primary ways it learns
  18. Not a matter of should or should not. If you want to then do it. Worst case he says it doesn't bother him anymore. And you'll get clarity about it. A lot of people know exactly what they should do but get bogged down in overthinking.
  19. Different reagents are made for different drugs in mind. It does matter which reagents you use or else the reaction won't accurately tell you what it is. Also many reagents kits are suited for you to be able to run the drug through multiple reagents geared for that drug to ensure it is what it is. The other reagents are called follow up kits. So there is a specific order. LSD testing guide: https://bunkpolice.com/pages/how-to-test-lsd DMT: https://bunkpolice.com/pages/how-to-test-dmt So you are going to mainly want Ehrlich, Hofmann, and mecke. I'm sure there's a kit with all 3. I really like bunk police kits because they send you a booklet of tests of lab verified samples so that you can compare to their results I know Ehrlich can test for 5 Meo but I haven't checked if Hofmann and mecke can be used as follow ups.
  20. It's more that people want the tools to conceptually understand what they do and experience to go deeper into the working and gain a more holistic perspective. This is enlightenment for many. To understand the pointers.
  21. @Brenzo2 The problem here is the subjectivity of the word. For example I considered judgment to be as free and ever changing as judgment but according to the source I found they are different in that regard. So locating judgment doesn't help me at all because my pointer is fundamentally different.
  22. @Emanyalpsid Sounds like the same thing to me just we may have built our understanding through different concepts. My main goal of my explanations in the other thread was to break the localization of the word consciousness to the human brain.
  23. Maybe I worded it wrong. I said ego perspective to reference back to the identity with the human body. I was mainly trying to add context that I see the illusion of death
  24. If I had 2 days left to live from an ego perspective I wouldn't be concerned trying to build a understanding of reality. Not concerned with knowing. I'd want to just be. To experience. To appreciate the present moment.
  25. Hey there! Glad to see you have this realization. We had a conversation on another thread about consciousness that I was about to reply to but it seems like you now understand what is being said. Happy for ya! (:
