  1. Yet there is no line between the other and self.
  2. And that feeling is ok. Accept it. Be aware of it. Awareness of the body is showing love to the body. Life is a lot of things. But when you accept and become content with all of those things you can learn to appreciate and enjoy every bit of what it offers.
  3. First consider your goals for acting this way. Adapting your behavior for approval can prove to be very beneficial to you. I'm changing my behavior to effectively get what I want. It's a puzzle. The key thing to be aware of here though is do you need their approval? As in is their approval necessary for my emotional state to not fly all over the state. Trying to solve the puzzle is all fine and dandy as long as you are content with failing the puzzle. Catch what I'm trying to say?
  4. @Bluebird Running off old knowledge but afaik it has to do with neuroplasticity. This reduces as you get older. Although I imagine at a less degree the more you challenge yourself.
  5. While nonduality is an insanely awesome paradigm also remember that God, The Dao or whatever you want to call it even transcends the idea of oneness. It would be error to say it is one and to say it is separate. So make sure to follow the pointers and not confuse it with actuality ?
  6. Don't blame psychologists for the shit of other psychologists.
  7. This is why even Leo says to not blindly believe him. Consider them all full of shit until you verify it themselves. The thing here though is it takes a significant amount of personal development for many to even begin verifying this stuff. Anything they say should be able to be verified through direct experience. Observation. A lot of the people here who stick around probably have verified some things Leo has said. I doubt all. Leo claims to be a very thorough person with his research and inquiry and the amount of times you can verify it yourself shows that. Of course there are still plenty of people who speak of what he says only with pure theory. We've all probably done it at some point. It's something to be aware of.
  8. Look beyond concepts to find out (:
  9. The subconscious operates by repetition. The more you do it the more the subconscious will try and lead you to it.
  10. I wouldn't Meditate full time. I'm not there yet.
  11. Funny how we need our accounts deleted to be able to step away from it. Something to work on.
  12. 17 was just about the age where I started emotionally maturing. Prior to that I was super quiet and socially awkward. It'll get better over time. I'm 20 and I can see the past 3 years involved radical changes. Keep work on yourself and you'll see benefits.
  13. Is that what you want for your life? Or are you just hiding back in the trap of comfort?
  14. Both. This as well. Its all just experiences. I mean whats producing the dimensions and all experiences and chemicals? Its all the same thing. You are just interacting with yourself. Reality is creating illusions and we act like they are 'real' and serious despite the brain also contributing hallucinatory perceptions, why can't we do the same with beings we meet under drugs?
  15. @Truth Addict You've proven your point by taking what I said in a manner not intended. I don't have anything against you either. It's just a discussion. I don't hold ill intents. Anways Emerald summed it up pretty much. The absolute won't be a productive way of looking at this. You need a more relative perspective based on what you want out of life and where you want it to go
  16. The funny thing the very objective world created the subjective world. Both worlds merge into one
  17. @Truth Addict I mean I'm not gonna lie what I think. Suicide not being wrong doesn't justify it either. @SgtPepper No such thing as unnatural.
  18. The opposite of these are also true. You don't. Its being eternally experienced. And its all part of the 'plan' really. In that regard one could also see suicide as a beautiful gift. There's nothing good logically for or against suicide when you take the absolute into account. You can really only make a decision based on relative standards and desires. I only live because I desire to live. You don't really have to go further than that.
  19. (Im not turq) From the absolute, no. The absolute eternally experiences suicide. This would be a better question asked from a pragmatic standpoint. From an absolute you could do anything and it be chill. I think he meant he's trying to ask somebody with such a POV not that his POV is that.
  20. I would say only consider it with major proposals or advancements. Something risky. A lot of people make risky moves they regret when they already knew it wouldn't work in their favor.
