Tl;Dr basically all of them are right. A camera not capturing something or another person not experiencing it doesn't make it wrong. Unless you assume reality can only hold single states at any given time. What would objective reality look like? You'd have to strip all relative interpretation. So basically all senses. To which then reality doesn't look like anything. There is nothing to see.

This. You can do whatever you want. Reality is a sandbox. Thats how we have things from charities to murder. You get ALL ends of the spectrum. But there is a noticeable pattern of both who start to work through their mind and body end up more compassionate, loving etc etc and those consumed by it end up on the opposite end of inflicting suffering which can be as mild as cheating, getting mad at somebody, to theft or murder. What do you want to do? If you need some rationalization to help somebody then I would advise to dig deeper. Wanting to help people does not come from rationality, it comes from an inherit desire, an urge, some pull that makes you just want to do it in the same way you don't need a reason to be hungry. Its just something you experience. All the talk of unconditional and infinite love are just models to help you understand what higher levels of consciousness is like. These higher levels are not run by the models. Hunger is not run by a model, it is explained by it. Make sure not to confuse concepts with actuality.

I'm trying to get at that Spiral Dynamics is mapping human progression through a perspective. It becomes a common trap to point at the faults of something from a different perspective. But can you say you truly understand what is being faulted until you view it from the one it was created from? What is SD trying to get at and from what angle? What is the point? Good things to think about instead of trying to see where it goes wrong from a different angle.

Spiral dynamics is merely just a model to show an idea of human progression that ended up being pretty accurate. It's been said before it can not account for everything. No model is perfect. Maybe your friend should look at it for what it is instead of trying to bash it for not encompassing all of reality. Good and bad are relative but SD is trying to lay out what your view on the world will be at that phase thus changing such senses. Tell your friend instead of arguing the healthy vs unhealthy debate that he should work to understand why SD may say an aspect is healthy or unhealthy. See the perspective so you can see the point before one looks down on it.

This. The desire to know the truth is egoic. The goal here is mainly to be able to perceive past the ego to better serve the ego. Truth is truth regardless if perceives know it or not. You may always have an ego but you can be more conscious with it. What do you want to do?

Yet the world never ran by logic. It was a construct we made then assigned high value and restricted ourselves to it. Why restrict ourselves to something that our own existence defies? You were told that these things, but does that make it true? What if they are wrong or delusional? Have you verified any of this?

Mental illness doesn't need an excuse it just is what it is. A concept used to identify occurrences that are seen as negative or different. You dissolve these concepts and you can more easily learn to be who you are. What is sane today was insane a century ago.

It's not shame based but those early in their journey often make it so. And if you weren't meant to change and evolve into nondual consciousness you wouldn't. Simple. But as said before you always have an ego you just aren't attached to its stories. To OP, life is constantly evolving and each change that occurs in life starts small then grows until it is the norm. So you can also call this switch natural as it is a fundamental capability of life to change. You can also see over time humanity has become more conscious. Maybe in some areas more than others.

Blend the duality of thought - emotion. I started seeing thought as an emotion. It's just an emotion that has allowed for more abstract interpretations. Essentially the body has to process things somehow. And that seems to come in the form of emotion. The form of experience.

I've fortunately am able to be aware of when my self esteem goes down. I feel like I am lesser but that doesn't quite translate to I think other people actually think I am lesser.

@tsuki I see what you are saying when you brought up synchronicity. I'm just not coming at it with the perspective of getting to the bottom(less) of it but rather pragmatism of navigating life. Which this often seems to require the lens of the ego which will bring some abstraction away.
