The Bible wasn't written by Jesus and the teachings of spirituality can only be deciphered by you yourself reaching an understanding that they reached. You don't understand x until you've experienced it. Especially when you can't ask the author anymore. The Bible is a mixture of spiritual teaching and culture which is part of why it is so cryptic. Truth mixed in with the nonsense is about how people function in general. Jesus did the best he could for the time he was in. He could not propose a world like today when what he did propose ended in his death. Unfortunately his method of moralizations did not work. Following just the Bible will be short sighted. You must study all teachings and try to experience what they did in order to understand. At the end of the day all religions derive from somebody who has had some form of an awakening experience. Their communication of the undefinable will be drastically different. You can teach it in an infinite number of ways. You'll eventually figure out all religions point to the same thing differently.

Yes. My issues were never too bad. Very bad depression phase in high school but I think that was due to me growing. I became more stable around when I graduated. Since then I have used inquiry and substances to help me identify dysfunction. From awareness I was able to recognize when my dysfunction influenced a behavior and then I could be mindful and not react to it. I have quite a bit of more subtle trauma due to a broken childhood. Mdma was what helped me shed light that my issues receiving love as if I was reflecting their love back was due to not having parents most of my life. I become very emotionally repressed. Very pessimistic about myself. These days I am more willing to show vulnerability and am confident. The path has also helped me reconcile dilemmas in how I interact with the world like good vs bad and so on. Instead of getting caught up in the basics there I can now focus on crafting a life I want. When I have bad thoughts I can't see past them as stories of the mind and sit with them and let them pass.

@Inliytened1 Love your reply. I definitely can see how that plays out. I'm only 20 myself and when I look back in the past 5 years even past 1 year there has been nothing but radical change. And my spiritual 'awakening' 2 years ago has been the fore front of changing how I interact with the world. Leo has given me the understanding to my mind shattering experiences.

God is infinite and unbounded. For that to be and for God to love itself it will not suppress anything. That includes all forms of suffering. That includes parts of itself which spits profanities and hates itself. The ego mechanism is designed in a way to avoid suffering where possible and overcome it when it happens. Of course you will demonize it. But to become more conscious of everything you must look beyond the judgments of ego. There just is. Being infinite has dramatic ramifications not many can accept. This does not mean to be complacent to suffering. As you become more conscious you will aim yourself to not demonize those who inflict it but understand those who do it and to accept their necessary existence right now and will align yourself to reduce it. If all is you then treat everything as you would yourself. The Bible has a lot of great teachings but you likely won't be able to grab them until you yourself become more conscious. I've went full circle believing in Christianity to hardcore atheism and now saying truth in both sides. Every teacher highlight certain aspects of the absolute. Usually those they see missing in people. We are great with dualism so no dualism is emphasized. We do fantastic with hate but not enough love. And so on. Whatever truth lies in the Bible you can find out yourself. Jesus found it. The Buddha found it and so did many other people. You can too. Psychedelics can do a lot. It will shove everything about yourself in your face and make you deal with it. If you do, you'll come out on the path of transformation. If you don't and resist it, well you can't. The inability to have control and insights that break your worldview or even just losing yourself to story upon story can lead to some negative effects. Take at your own risk. The detrimental ones are rare and even rough trips can give you a lesson. Of course don't take my word for it. You can figure this out on your own.

You have to be careful as figuring this out requires perspective shifting. From the absolute God is both the creator and creation. Everything that plays out is a part of the creation and it could quite literally be no other way. So you as an ego are just playing out the story but simultaneously as God are creating it. In regards to free will there is nothing to prove or disprove. They both have truth. They both point to the exact same things just being looked at from a different angle. For there to be no free will would be putting a limitation for there to be free will would be putting a limitation. God expresses itself in every way possible which is why you see so many paradoxes. It is limitless and unbounded. Which is why it is so hard for a mind that thinks linearly to make sense of it. Reality is not some linear cause and effect. When Leo talks you have to really try to figure out where he is coming from because everything he says will have a paradoxical opposite truth. But when he talks from one side of it he is trying to highlight one aspect of it to you. His words emphasize rather than encompass the total truth.

Do you need to understand breathing to practice it? Do animals understand how to hunt or is it just something they just do? The problem here is you've built up all of these ideas of love and confuse it. Strip them all away. Get to your roots, the source of love itself. Your understanding will come from awareness and deconstructing yourself.

Depends on the job. For example I work with ad evaluation that Google outsources to improve their engine. Very tedious stuff. That's probably worth outsourcing.

Learn to recognize love by practicing it yourself.

Maybe @Aquarius could provide deeper insight into the specifics. She seems like she has studied more on it. Do you have a deep understanding of it that I do not? I'm just not a proponent of dismissing something from all usefulness until it is fully understood. And since your understanding and mine seem to be different I have a feeling there is an aspect that would need further looking into. You don't need religion to see synchronocities in your life. They happen all the time. And religion has a lot of truth in it. It just unfortunately ended up too dogmatic. Using black and white words like accurate vs inaccurate is misleading. It's likely somewhere in between which is why you cross reference and use every bit of truth you find rather than just believing all of the map as truth.

This doesn't line up with my understanding of astrology. Its not about some conceptual model about how planets work but its about pattern recognition. Observing how reality in of itself stays synced up. Synchronicity. It requires a holistic perspective which afaik isn't like purple. My understanding of Astrology doesn't go too deep but i'd advise you to really investigate it before you go and assign such labels to it.

Is pointing that out a judgment? The goal was to not form any conclusion about you. Just identify something that might not align with your goals. Well just be careful. On the whole 'fuck your sister' thing its a hard call without knowing some idea of where you were mentally during the trip. You might not have even really registered it was your sister. If she is attractive to you there might be some primal urges you are repressing.

@SQAAD The main point is when you want privacy or intimacy or even just want to do drugs in your own home, living with parents can make that hard or uncomfortable. Trip around people you know you can trust if shit hits the fan. Funny how those who talk about not caring about judgment go around and throw judgments.

@Mezanti When dealing with models you probably shouldn't look at it in terms of truthhood or falsehood. Models are going to have both. You'll never find an entirely accurate map. Astrology is just another map that you can use with other maps.Never limit your resources.

Meaning is largely relative to the individual. People want to be surrounded with things that matter to them. It is comforting.

Yes. People often times just gravitate one way or the other. The big problem comes when you suppress a side of yourself. Many overly masculine men are suppressing their feminine side. Once you embrace both sides of you you find inner balance and will still probably lean one way or the other. Men and women have certain tendencies to lean towards their respective sides but its not impossible for the opposite.

Thats mainstream astrology. You can find dozens of different explanations of how each one is. There was a post about astrology that went in depth here somewhere but actual astrology goes way more in depth and needs very precise details down to the minute you were born. It is a pattern recognition model basing itself off of synchronicity. Aquarius.

Tattoos themselves aren't either one. The intent behind them might give better insight. Sometimes its to feel unique and other times its for coping with emotions. We process things by actually experiencing them. A way to express our emotions help us rummage through and process them like the stroke of a paintbrush. Sometimes the symbolism may be there as a reminder to yourself. I want one of a ouroboros or unalome to remind myself of what I am going towards. I remember in Leo's moralization video to avoid should statements to wear a wristband to remind you to not should your way through the day, its like a more permanent form of that. These reasons can come from both low and high consciousness. Remember being high consciousness doesn't mean to neglect the ego or never have anything to do with it, its about being aware of its mechanisms.

And yet that ordinariness has beauty and magic to it. But we lost being able to see that until we don't have it anymore. Don't pressure yourself too much to do these big and great things. The mundane and ordinary are needed just as much as the opposite. Its what helps make things whole. When we were young everything looked so amazing and magical even if its hard to see now its still there.

And yet God lives in hell and the Devil lives in heaven at the same time.
