@Leo Gura Interesting point. Sounds like another find balance deals. A very intense psychedelic trip was the catalyst to all of this. Do you think very profound experiences can take years to fully integrate or understand? There were so many insights I don't think I am even close to fully embodying it all. Its truly humbling.

You can argue about concepts for days. Experience tells more than concepts ever can.

I know what you mean. Leo's video on saying should/should not is a good example if what you are pointing to. You attach certain feelings/energies on what you say and by using the words associated with those you could be reinforcing negative feelings. This promotes them to keep coming back up. It works in a similar way as positive affirmations.

egos don't like feeling inferior to other egos. Rather than coming off as confident you come off as narcissistic, pretentious, and cocky. Superiority complex. That you feel like you are trying to prove something to other people. Somebody who is trying too hard. If course that's all projection. I wouldn't worry about it. Anybody who actually cared would know your behaviors to see the truth hood of that

I think many masculine traits makes it easier for many men to gain a following into leadership. But getting that is only a part of the story. Actually listening about issues, to your followers I would consider more feminine and is a huge necessity. A good leader will have both sides balanced.

Ultimately free will and no free will point to the same thing from different perspectives. To deny one and not the other will end up short sighted. If you observe what Leo says literally you'll find contradictions left and right. Of course reality does function on paradox, the different ends of them are true depending on perspective. Also people emphasize certain truths. Leo and most teachers emphasize Unity. Yet duality is also true. To say unity is true is not to claim the opposite is false its just working on understanding at one end since humans have a decent grasp on the other.

@How to be wise Yes everything is nothing and you've learned how to remove labels. But also remember the opposite of what you say is true to because at the end of the day it points to the same thing. And you are in this story. There is way more than realizing these absolutes. You must also integrate the relative.

"There is absolute truth and relative truth, beware of half truths." - The Kyballion Solipsism is a half truth. Whenever you come across a vs duality, there are likely kernels of truth in both and you have to integrate them both to really grasp it.

I've seen growth in others and including myself here. Growth can start out subtle until you compare longer time periods. There is a lot of mental masturbation and people need to go through that to see it. The question at the end of your post, the answer would be both. The forums has as much use as you give it.

Intuition is not backed by reason or logic. It is not something you think out, but it is something you just gravitate towards. The subconscious is processing more than you'll ever be consciously aware of. The result of that results in 'feelings' guiding you towards certain paths.

Be careful about the brain chemistry vs mind duality. Your mind is your brain chemistry and everytime your mind changes, it is reflected by brain chemistry. We have an amazing ability to reprogram ourselves. By becoming aware of your behaviors and mechanisms you gain access to methods of being able to manipulate yourself into getting desired behavioral patterns. These methods are even used for therapy. Look into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

@now is forever Kundalini will purge all the negative energy out of you and that purging you will go through by experiencing it. Lots of people activate Kundalini without even working on their issues which can result in even a year of pain. This is my understanding of it anyway.

Pretty much. You retain memory for things you practiced a lot for surprisingly a long time. It's amazing. The more you practice the more your body will know it is important.

Awesome to hear! I don't think I am close but I do appreciate I've been able to train my mind to reference back to past nondual experiences. It's been useful in changing how I perceive the world. Lots more understanding and compassion.

Don't use your defensiveness of projection, assumption and judging (which are also projections) to not look deeply at what is being said. There is always a kernel of truth and growth to be found. While Scholar's post may seem like an attack, he perhaps consider he is trying to point you somewhere. Look into that. Don't get caught up in the little details. See the big picture.

Look around you. Is the separation between you vs environment actually there, or is it a projection of your own mind? There is separation but there also is not. A whole piece can infinitely divide itself. Oneness is one of the first major insights a lot of people get. Contemplate deeply on separation and practice awareness on how you perceive separation. Question why you see it as separate and if it is true. Also how easy it is to change that perception. Look at a house you see a whole thing, look inside it and you see walls, a TV etc. Look inside a TV and you see various components etc etc.

Actually that is exactly what an infinite God does. Your true nature as God never changed pre and post enlightenment. You just became aware of it. Being infinite has dramatic ramifications. God is also out murdering people too.

@Jed Vassallo Just wanted to point out to Leo enlightenment is a permanent state of nondual awareness. He's in a sort of semi lucid state. He said it in a post of his. I don't think Leo will quit his business. Being enlightened won't remove his ego. Not being attached to desire does not mean to never fulfill them. You can fulfill them as much as you want, but you'd never need them.
