  1. There is no issue. Thats the funny thing. It just is.
  2. If you don't learn about politics you'll just contribute to it unknowingly. Are you ok with not knowing if your actions are helping or harming the current climate?
  3. Bingo. Which includes but is not exclusive to you. And considering that everything still exists. Doesn't seem like consciousness minds it very much lol
  4. Feel them and stop resisting them. Accept the feelings for what they are.
  5. Yes spirituality can definitely imply personal development that just happens as a result of the pursuit. I'm just saying its a good idea to actively pursue both. Its like one of those Venn diagrams. They are intertwined but not in their entirety. And the more you dig into either, the more subtle and sneaky the problems can get.
  6. The wording is funny. From the human perspective you haven't experienced any of those things. So I think it's hinting at the inevitable unification of consciousness with death. You already are them. And still are. You just don't have memories of it. @Inliytened1 Good stuff.
  7. You'd be surprised on what I have experienced. Sure, but this is all coming from the limited egoic perspective. My comments were mainly to detract from obsessing about all the suffering that you are. Your ego won't experience it. These issues arise when the ego takes on the identity of the godhead
  8. Dysfunction are usually behaviors that will have a negative impact. For example someone who drinks alcohol to run away from their problems can be considered dysfunctional. Trauma causing you to get triggered and outburst is dysfunctional. So is any neurotic behavior. You can be enlightened and still be dysfunctional. Knowing and experiencing truth won't say too much as to what you will do with it. Saying reality is pretty much a sandbox with no right or wrong can be harmful insights if not in the right hand.
  9. Careful now. You can take any advice and apply it in situations where its not meant to be applied. There is a careful balance in the relationship of the external and internal. Regarding the internal you would have to deal with your feelings about the abuse you experienced and also the resentment you have for that person if applicable. Facing the trauma and working through those painful feelings is what will help you heal. Can also prevent future trauma from similar situations. (For example by being able to choose to not care about what people think you wouldn't be able to be abused by somebody using your social status to hurt you) The goal is for them to not be able to hurt you. Running away from your feelings is doing anything you can to not think about it and not feel it. The external would be getting out of the abusive relationship. Even if the person can't hurt you anymore their dysfunction will not be pleasant to be around. And as you start maturing and raising your consciousness that low consciousness junk will not resonate with you at all. You want a strong mind so you can choose what you let through. But don't put it through shit unless you have to.
  10. If you don't want dysfunction you need a careful balance between spirituality and personal development. But yes it can definitely help you with this. Ever since I started I am a much more confident person and what people think of me becomes more of a tool for me to improve than it does hurt me.
  11. This made me laugh so hard. So did all the other jokes in here. Good stuff.
  12. Leo has got you: @Mikael89 You aren't being tossed around its all simultaneous. All in one moment. You are taking of pleasure in a limited human capacity. You are more than human. You might need to contemplate on what being limitless and unbounded truly means. Your ego is just getting too worked up over it.
  13. Psychedelics. I personally like dissociatives and weed for it but the health risk of dissos are much higher.
  14. Nonduality does not eliminate duality. It's duality and more! Keep your mind to the stars but your eyes to your feet.
  15. Use the duality between external and internel to find balance ?
  16. Strategic adaptation. Our ability to change can be your enemy or friend. Take your pick ?
  17. Both of what you said. Or combining it with other substances.
  18. You will also experience the highest pleasure possible. Balances out doesn't it?
  19. @Annoynymous Personal Development requires one to introspect on their issues and how they perceive it. To face your issues. Facing them isn't easy for somebody who is looking to cure it. Because they are already looking to run away from it. Imagine somebody telling you to stick your hand in a fire to get over having your hand burned off. The mind is one weird thing. When the mind is forced to face its suffering, it adapts and overcomes. And after you face it, it stops being something you want to avoid then boom its just.. Gone. How can you be anxious when you've accepted and are ok with anything that happens? Down to your being.
  20. It's probably not as cut and dry as it's made out to be
  21. Yes. But it's not easy. It's about the same as cognitive behavioral therapy.
  22. It's a joke too. Don't be afraid to have a laugh. The only thing afraid to do that is the ego.
  23. You are old enough. I'm 20. Just know you will grow a Lot in the next 5 years.
  24. Not only are you infinite suffering, you are infinite pleasure. What is - 1 + 1? You've already experienced it. Including the version of you worrying about it. It's not so bad. You love it.
