Shadowraix replied to Michael Paul's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Michael Paul The concepts themselves are limiting but what they point to is not. This is all mental scaffolding that never truly represents what happens when awakening occurs. But it's our best effort at communicating it. -

@Mikael89 Then I guess you've outgrown all of us. If so, then you might want to move on to greener pastures. -

@Mikael89 and what is that hairless monkey? ? -

Good one. This work doesn't take lots of time for nothing. Just as we discover new insights there are always more. Most of us have barely scratched the depths of the teachings here. Things get trickier when we need to start decoding words to understand. -

Ever considered there are things you are not yet conscious of? -

I do, I was inquiring about you than actually seeking an answer. -

The common human notion of love is catered to our survival. It takes a radical shift in consciousness to let go of what we demonize because it inflicts on survival. Leo already has a video on love. You either take Leo's pov with merit and do the practices to hopefully understand one day or you just continue with your own notion. At the end of the day the only blockade is you. It starts and ends with you. There is nothing to defend. Leo is just another pointer to what already is. Look past the conflict of what each person calls love. Leo is pointing to something beyond the label. -
Why do many gurus speak in riddles? You might find an answer there. If they come to the conclusion themselves, who else do they have to blame?

Banning guns will not fix dysfunctional people. The gun ban solution is tackling a symptom to the bigger problem. So in the end even if we did do that, it would only be a start to eventually tackling a root. -
There is a balance to be had with caring about how other people feel and your own objectives. Remember those people are literally you. To not care is to create separation. You can try discussing something to someone but if your words are just deterring them from what you actually are trying to accomplish then it's probably best to drop it. You gotta meet people where they are at to resonate with them.

God loves death as much as life. God loves all that it is. Some people awaken to their true nature and others don't. This is also up to God. Of course this kind of talk may encourage complacency until one awakens to oneness with God. -

What do you think Jesus did while being crucified? Being able to love your killers is a big sign of high consciousness. -

Such statements are hinging on our survival mechanisms. It's a very radical thing to realize any form of truth that goes beyond survival. Our ideas of goodness and love are especially crafted to cater to our survival. Divine goodness and love expands beyond that. -

In a spirituality sense this work is a lot about deconstruction. The experiences associated with schizophrenia seem to encourage more construction. -
If you are into anime and have ever watched things like Your Lie in April Wolf Children Clannad Toradora you will cry your eyes out. At least it did me. The artists did an amazing job at letting you feel how the characters feel.

@Keyhole I didn't interpret it that way but I suppose that's the beauty of it. ? -
@Elham That paper also carries a huge financial and social burden if it fails. Saves the pain on both people to avoid it. Even if you stayed committed. You could also see marriage as a fear of impermanence. Needing to lock someone down for security. I don't think I could ever wish such burdens above and feeling trapped if it was no longer mutual. People change and grow. How would one reconcile commitment and impermanence? To me probably to commit for as long as your intuition tells you it's the path for you.

I don't think this thread was ever about how to help somebody with schizophrenia anyway. -
There's nothing wrong with exploring and enjoying creation. However if your goal is to go meta on creation then you must do it mindfully. Otherwise you'll be back to square one losing yourself in creation.

Amazing how true colors only show in such a situation. Glad you dodged the bullet sooner or later.

I'm on the no marry side in my life but I acknowledge those who choose to do it. To me a relationship where one is free to leave with as little hassle as possible and yet chooses not to is more significant than one who has a bunch of barriers preventing them from leaving and potentially may feel like they can't if they want to. Relationships aren't guaranteed to last forever and that's ok to me, I don't want them to have a bunch of legal and financial barriers as well as the divorced label. I find it weird that law needs to get involved to make it stronger unless you just want tax benefits. The significance of marriage is whatever you choose to put into it.

You don't transform per se but rather you let go of attachment. Love requires you to think outside of your own desires. As if you and your partner are one. Her desires become yours and vice versa.
