  1. @Extreme Z7 I'm not sure science and tech is applicable to society in a concrete way. Wouldn't it make more sense to get rid of poverty and feeding those in need than jumping to gun to the big things? And the animals, the animals are dying. Lots of things
  2. My biggest fear is that I get a job I hate. It's a constant negative worry that what-if I hate my job, what-if I hate my job, what-if I hate my job. It's why I bought the life purpose program, and I'm thinking something to do with science/technology/engineering but I have this fear that scares me from going into something like engineering or something along those lines. I wanted to become some kind of renaissance man akin to Da Vinci or Newton or Tesla, but when I started studying calculus books I borrowed from the library, my head started pounding and I wondered if is this really my life purpose? I am only on Life Purpose Assesment #1, I have the top ten values, one of which is truth and discovering the fundamental laws of nature which is basically science, but I keep getting these headaches for some reason, possibly anxiety. Another fear that the subconscious is bringing up in my brain and flashing it to me is that I get a job that I hate so much I end up in depression and then I die, fear of death? Goddamn stupid monkey brain trying to kill me. What should I do? Thanks for reading if you did Also I gave away the lifepurpose program to other people which is infrigement of copyright laws, and I feel bad for Leo. So I am thinking make maybe 5,000 to 10,000 dollars for him as in the lifepurpose program he says he falls into the category of people who are neurotically attached to money and that must have made him infuriated thinking "oh you little sh*t you " I am so grateful he didn't sue me. I know I would've especially knowing that growing up, sometimes the electricity went out and his family lit candles for lighting, and that caused a lot neurocism to his views on money. I live in an East-indian household, so as a male I have to stay with my family and live with them, as my parents took care of me, I now take care of them. So the mortgage is paid off, and I just need a life purpose job to make money, I'll donate to Leo, but the reason I gave the course is for people who are neurotic as me have no clue as to what they are doing and need their life-purpose and need to get on track and make a utopian society. It may have been a kind gesture, but I have suspicion some people don't care about the most important part of life purpose which is contribution to society, the only real reason for life purpose.
  3. @Bagoober I had math as a passion, but I lost it. I'm not sure on what I should do. I'm not sure whether it is drudgery or not, what do I do? Drudgery is a term in a book called Mastery by George Leonard. This video talks about it:
  4. Hey guys, the 48 laws of power are excellent for the business and work world A helpful thing is professional resume writers who write your CV and give you a systematic approach to the job hunt Another thing I learned from RSD is a counter-offer which is lying and telling a possible employer that you have 3 other offers, (it could backfire, but dont focus on that) making you a high value employee that companies will beg you to work for them another thing is getting your LinkedIn and other networking sites done professionally with head shots, skills and such to get you noticed by potential employers. I am thinking of hiring an professional interviewer and learning all their interview secrets so I know exactly what the company wants so you can twist the system to your liking, I know that there are a lot of variables in the interview process and the hunt, but do you guys know any other ways to add value to yourself? My purple cow would probably being mastering coding with several languages and working DIY electronics, possibly volunteering to add value to the resume or showcase myself as some kind of "humanitarian philanthropist" , are there other tricks or techniques to learn as an employee? Thank you for reading, some help.
  5. @Bagoober @Bagoober Wow, I wasted so much money on the course, I even donated money because I wanted to give him the money back for stealing.
  6. @Bagoober I think I made a mistake buying the life purpose course then, should I ask for a refund? I wasted more than 3k on books and buying the course three times as the first time I made a mistake and bought my old account that was shut-down so I had to buy it again, making it a total of 3 times of buying the course. and he hasn't helped me at all. I did give out the log-in details, but I then gave him more money. I could give him more money in hopes of getting some advice, but it would be a huge mistake to keep giving him money if he doesn't help. I wish I didn't steal from him and he just give some advice. My passion or what I had a good feeling when doing was math, but now I'm on a plateau and feel math is not it, as it is silly and useless/unpractical. I want to be a theoretical physicist now
  7. @Bagoober Thank you. What's the point of the life purpose course then If I just go to college and figure it out? I even bought all the books, did I make a mistake?
  8. Hi guys, I am thinking of milking the scholarship system for everything it's worth. I am planning to self-study calculus and the courses needed in my bachelors program (Which I am not entirely sure is the right program for me). It is some sort of specialized course from a local polytechnic school, a fuse of physics and tech to work in labs and industries. Anyways, it does have a business course with it that I would like to study maniacally from, I am thinking of letting the monkey loose as I get my rocks off from crushing my competitors, narcissistic desires to be the best rather wanting to help humanity. Something that I need some deep-deep work on. Any tips? As I feel like a crazed animal making schemes like a chimp. Of course I want to be paid well, not that their is anything wrong with self-growth but this is more of a monkey mind thing but it feels oh soo good at the time, this being a very, very strong drive. I want mastery, If it works it works right? No need to re-invent the wheel, something is telling me there may be an alternative, any thoughts? A very strong neourosis
  9. @Bagoober I just don't want a job I hate. I am going interview tommorrow for a job, pay is 15/hour plan is give money to Gura so he can give me advice. One of my strengths from don clifton's strength finder is focus, which simply means a need for a destination. "You need a destination, as each day, each week and each year you set goals. Always keeping the end in mind. Your focus reminds everyone that if something is not helping move toward your destination , then it is not important. And if it is not important, it is not worth your time" This is why when you say silly things like "relax" your young, go to college and get a degree it pissese me the fuck off, and makes me agravated because I want a purpose nailed down to a vision. I want a plan before going into college, I want to know my major before I go in. I also want to know my job and to know all the details and everything like that. That "cocky" part is another strength, in Don Clifton's Strength Finders 2.0, it is called Significance, which is a wanting to be recognized and wanting for success. I don't want to make a mistake, I don't want to fail.
  10. @Bagoober @Bagoober What advice? To go to college and figure it out? What kind of advice have people offered? And that thing about ego, you need ego to achieve your goals: Leo discusses this as to put yourself out there, and then he says to transcend and then release the identity (Enlightenment) I've made money off a site called swagbucks, which has 30 min surveys for $0.50, so $1/hour. I made $ 10 then donated it to charity on this site called karmakarma to help kids in Africa have access to food and water and that act of giving made me feel amazing. That is what life purpose is about, you get your top 5 strengths and top 10 values and build a purpose around that, I want things to work out and for everything to be perfect, I also watched these two videos:
  11. Life purpose is the most important thing in life, yet you treat it as if it just a "job"
  12. @Philip People could live all sort of fantasies, but is this really the biggest issue at hand? If society was re-invented how would it be a better place, as we still have economic issues, terrorism, poverty. If we do re-invent the future, would it just be for more technological innovation? Has technology really helped us as much as it ought to have helped society?
  13. @Philip This is interesting, but I'm thinking this is for entertainment industry mostly, what does society need most right now?
  14. @MarkusR So many "realistic"people on this forum, I saw this guy from RSD: You got into personal-development because you have all these crazy ideas, and you wan't to be "realistic" ? You think Steve Jobs was realistic? These people piss me the fck off. Arnold Schwarznagger's biography is amazing, the dude was so god-damn stubborn and wanted to become a champion so badly. This is why I don't like sharing dreams to haters, they just sit back and talk shit.
  15. @jes No, personal statements to do with life purpose? One of Leo's is "Master your psychology".
  16. @Bagoober Because I want a masterplan laid out, people who don't plan their lives are fucking complete failures, why the hell would I waste my summer doing stupid shit like working a job I hate, I want to be the best of the best in my chosen field I'm working the game inside out, playing the world of jobs like a chess master, planning every move I make. The faster you have your life purpose nailed the fuck down, the happier and more successful/fulfilled I will be as excellence is one of my top noble values. I'm not worrying, I'm planning. Thinking 10-20 years ahead before everything happens. My cousin sister said "You can't plan" I say hell yes you can. I'm negatively motivated, I want a job I love and I'm passionate about along with six-figure payment and to be a top-performer. I don't wanna fuck up or fail. The most important part of life purpose is contribution, but I am still thinking how I can best contribute to society or what is needed?
  17. Hi guys, what would be some positive motivations for truth? Thanks in advance
  18. Not really, that's why I posted lol. So far I have. An example of positive motivation for health would be so I can look and feel great In retrospect, a negative motivation for health would be I look fat and disgusting and I don't to be in pain of looking fat and disgusting, but once you get thin you begin eat junk and then you are fat again and its the up and down spiral of self-sabotage and it never works out.
  19. Ate traditional Indian roti which is pita bread with some dal. The margarine and cooking oil was complete shit need to cut that crap out of system forever as it decreases performance, focus and functioning. Investing in your health may be good, but I need income and need to learn marketable skills, also need more money for investing in these things such as learning professional courses. God damn it, I hate being limited in funding. I want to make lots of money also, I could open a business, I need to maximize efficiency and productivity. Mastery, Mastery, Mastery damn it I need more books to fully immerse in my field but I am short of funds. I also need a lab to experiment If I ever burn-out, I can get some sort of therapeutic device, as Mindfulness and other emotional mastery techniques are already in place to tackle any stress. Stress reduction techniques are also sufficient. Need to buy personal laboratory, would be around $5 Million, would also require equipment. With funding, the skies the limit truly. Also need to see research opportunities available in physics, could be funded by government or teach in academia and use the facilities for researching.
  20. @aurum those are negative motivations, negative motivation never works. You need positive motivation, I mean truth in terms of a noble value from Leos Life Purpose program.
  21. Must assemble master plan for being a powerful creator Plan start date: 20/06/2016 Plan end date: 20/07/2016 Work periods: 90 minute blocks w/ 15 minute breaks Coding skills that need to be mastered in potency of relevance: C/C++ Python Java Electronics: Arduino Starter Kit Courses up for mastery: Calculus Physics 1,2 Intro Chemistry Need to get life purpose down to a statement, specifics are needed such as Leo's: "Master your psychology" Need more money for skills development, nootropics, and more books Also need to read "So good, they can't ignore you" Diet needs to be maximized for performance, am taking supplements need to maximize brain function & boost creativity Will try bulletproof coffee, seems like a marketing gimmick. High-fat low carb diet would boost energy throughout the day. Should journal at night today.
  22. @MarkusR You would need to know everything from tech, to physics to cybernetics/engineering. It seems to crazy of an idea to pursue, would also need lots of funding so forget it for now.
  23. Need to focus on giving to others selflessly
  24. @Ike Carter Virtual reality would be an amazing idea for scientific tests limited by say resources, or for miscellaneous things such as in the entertainment industry. It was an idea, but the world is built on ideas.
