Hi! I am trying to do philanthropy as a key pillar in my life purpose. I also want to do engineering, but only because it is economical and pays the bills. I personally like math and physics. I can see god in physics and I would like a job where you do theoretical/ conceptual work but I am stuck with engineering as it is economical and ties into my life purpose. I only have 7 years of life left as I am going to die soon, but would like to smash it out the park with my life purpose. Question is if there are any jobs that only need 1 or 2 years to get educated and work that involve just math/phyiscs? Otherwise I have to do a 1 year civil engineering certificate which is boring AF in my opinion. Thank you all!! (Also thank you to leo gura for so many times in helping me in this life)

All life purpose is basically centered around some form of selflessness or altruism. How does one even become fully selfless when society continuously brainwashes people from birth to hedonism, materialism, seeing spirituality as "woo-woo" and other BS? I just want to reach god/consciousness oneness somehow. All great societies where first centered around spiritual practices (example: Stoicism, Greeks, Babylon) and things such as non-duality. I'm on a mad hunt to experience god somehow through reading books such as "Ego is the enemy" or books on Daoism or other great spiritual works. I meditate 10 minutes a day as well, and do a lot of journaling My questions is: How do you even experience oneness/god and somehow become a altruistic force of good? Thank you for reading
