The it doesn't matter movement is way more nonsense. There are so many things wrong with meat farms go watch a few dozen documentaries on the matter and then come back to me. Infinity is not a scapegoat to be evil to other forms of ourselves, live passionately and compassionately whenever you can afford to. -

Plants don't have brains and nervous systems, the argument is completely mute. They don't have a sense of self or memories. Sometimes you guys talk so much to find a ways to justify yourselves. By that logic cutting my hair and cutting your head off is the same thing. One isn't worse than the other. It is so sad to see when someone can take spirituality and the miraculous of existence and turn it into vile nihilism. Where no life or nothing matters. It's not wrong to eat meat to survive it's wrong to kill for pleasure eating. The same way it's cruel to kill a Bull in bullfighting only for a small amount of entertainment. -

That sounds like nihilism with spiritualism sprinkled in. Leo has mentioned those types in videos many times but it seems to conveniently fall on deaf ears when someone doesn't want to hear it. Detachment and indifference is completely different. Detachment is you do all you can, but you are unaffected, it is indifference to the result not indifference to the action. I dont think you realise how horrible the world would be if everyone was indifferent to each other. We live in the best era now because humans are getting better and working together. Thats why we have nice things. All the negatives aspect are from the sheer number of human beings causing strain on the planet. You're completely disrespectful to your human body that is your vessel right it is the centre of your consciousness. You need to discover god consciousness. Once that happens you won't go around saying life is dream so who gives a shit. Personal I find that a trap on such a basic level. You are here right now, aware of being aware, and it's the realest thing you could ever know, no one can convince that you're not aware. It is the only ultimate truth that you know instantly even without the mind thinking. -

Thread is about meat eating and why. If you want to specifically talk about me you can create a new thread and I would be honoured. If a book doesn't make sense to you... Usually it's the readers mind that is the problem and not the book. I'm seeing major issues in people here too many to talk about. From the novice cliché error of its all a dream so who cares to trying to delve into my level of consciousness. I'm already completed, any external input will only be an attempted sabotage. (clearly obvious ones at that). Just for your information I used to be uncaring meat eater. But I became more compassionate. I'm also compassionate to plants, I wouldn't step on one for fun. For me to be an uncaring meat eater again I need to become more unconsciousness and uncaring. However if something has to die to feed me then plants are healthier to eat and do not have brains or memories or pain nervous systems. Animals are sentient beings if you're unable to grasp the meaning of that, the problem lies with you. Again eating meat for survival is not the problem it's eating meat when it causes so many problems from suffering of caged animals, to cancer causing food, to environmental problems. Eat the fucking veggies. -

Projection. I didn't say I was highly conscious I said a highly conscious person probably wouldnt rape someone. I also said I eat meat. But your head ain't on right. To me eating meat is like smoking, I know its not good for me or the environment and a habit I need to kick out completely. For now I'm ok with reducing it. -

That's all you took from that post numnuts? It's just a word Peter Ralston was pointing his middle finger at audience in a speech. The guys logic is bad he deserves more worse words when he's spreading bad information whilst ignoring other facts. Strawman an entire post for 1 word shows you that you're out to strawman rather than learn. -

I love how you conviently use whatever evidence to justify an arguement whilst ignoring evidence that contradict your arguement. Firstly we evolved from shared ancestor with the ape and our Dna is very similar. All primates have canines you numnuts "Apes are herbivores for the most part, but they also may eat smallanimals or bugs" We don't have the bodies or abilities to hunt animals, we used tools so it's obvious we were not meat hunters from the get go. We can only absorb most nutrition from meat if we artifically cook meat, you do not have the body, teeth, stomach or ability to catch a wild animal and eat it raw. Eating raw meat can make us easily ill and kill us in the wild. Which Is something real meat eating animals don't need to worry about. We have some of the smallest canine teeth in the animal kingdom. Leafy greens, legumes, seeds and nuts have B vitamins, you'll be OK numbers. -

And there lies the answer, if humans couldn't survive the answer would be obvious wouldn't it. I suggest you research the science of eating meat more thoroughly. The reason why many people say that vegan diets are poor is because how badly balance ppl are. They eat potato chips and call themselves vegan then have all sorts of health problems. There are body builders and athletes on vegan diets. The poor excuses to justify meat eating is just bad. First you need to be honest if you live a area where you can buy fruit, veggies, nuts and legume easily then meat eating for you is just for the taste buds. -

Best way to assign value to a life is to see how much the creature values it's own life and what it does to protect itself. If a human being wants to die and a dog is trying it's best to survive I'd choose the dog to save. Because it showed me it's life was more precious. Also a lot of fruit and veggies are harvesting and seasonal foods for example apples fall from trees and would rot away anyway, it's almost like they were designed solely to be eaten. -
alankrillin replied to Amun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Do you value hair strands and humans equally? What about sperm cells and humans? Bite a plant the plant won't react, bite a lamb it will scream, cry and run and shake and cower in fear. It wants to live, it understands it life is precious. At least make logical sense if you're trying to play the smart role. Humans will refuse to see the bad until they have to pay for the crime. If aliens came to us with far better technology and thought of us as some imbecile creature unable to defend itself and ate us not for survival but for delicacy then you would get it, until then though we don't care. Eating meat for survival is not the issue, eating meat unnecessarily for amusement of taste buds is wrong. Whensome Says life is a dream I can eat animals is the same thing as saying life is a dream I can rape any women I want including your wife, daughter, mother etc. Yeah we could, would a highly conscious person do that though? Highly Doubt it. -

Oh god now I know what I'm dealing with. Good job on indirectly telling us how awake you are and how asleep we are. It's like you have consciousness and we don't. You're a delicious fruitcake with sprinkles. -

I'm sorry you misunderstood so many things. Firstly Jesus didn't volunteer, he was executed because he did not want to change his statements. 3-4 don't matter just fantasy. Indifference haha. Detachment is different. I'm glad you're being tortured, if reality is saying something and your response is indifference then it's working as intended. When reality gives you a problem you bow down and say yes mi Lord, I will solve it for you. Let me make this clear if your house is on fire you're not going to say "Indifference" so why you bullshitting us??? -

Also science is catching up https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/diet/scientists-believe-people-should-be-eating-less-meat-and-more-vegetables/news-story/2339721756217c5d08dbfd20fdf4b3b0 Meat is getting a lot of bad rep from science these days and a lot reports one how little to none we should eat of it. Wait until they discover how bad mass produced meat farms quality is for the body. -
alankrillin replied to Amun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Reality is actually a paradox between real and dream. Trust me if we tortured you to death you'd quickly come around to conclusion that it's real. Maybe there is a reason why Jesus screamed God why have you forsaken me before he died. -

Don't be ignorant. Raising in a tribe somewhere in the Amazon where you might get eaten or poisened by wild life is fair game, and nature. Being raised in a prison cage in solitary confinement where you would rather die than live on is horrible. We are the only creature on earth to create a real hell for other beings purely for greed. The truth is we have more than enough farms and lands to survive easily on fruit and veggies. Its really a taste bud thing. And the biggest food industry which is junk food is doing a real good job get masses to get addicted to it at their health expense solely to make profit for the greedy ceos, who don't mind making the population unhealthy as long they get thier money. -

I eat meat, usually get sucked into it due to social situations and I grew up eating meat so it can be hard to avoid it. These days I eat much, much less of it. But I'm going to make a point, if you eat that shit from supermarkets, those caged animals that see no sunlight, don't get any exercise, die from utter exhaustion and mistreatment, fed the cheapest grains or other vile fillers (even corpses), where they use antibiotics to counter the shit hole disease ridden areas, then yeah don't cry when you get cancer or other illnesses. This is something that our ancestor's didn't have, animals were raised more naturally. Eating maggots would probably be healthier than meat from mass production meat farms. If you catch wild animals that's completely a different quality. But again meat is harder to digest and integrate so I feel better integrating plants with no conscious memories into my system. Also meat farms are bad for the environment and global warming. So it's all bad, you should only eat meat if you can't get all your nutrition through a varied healthy plant diet. So yes I'm an asshole for eating meat and so is most of humanity right now. Right now humanity is like cancer, multiplying rapidly, refusing to die when our life cycle is complete, and devouring the host. (earth) We'll either destroy the planet or wisen up to stabilise our damage control and keep things in balance. Both are realistic possibilities. Right now though humans are to ignorant to care more about the environment, their taste buds are more important which is rather sad in the grand scheme of things. -
@Leo Gura I agree with you last post 90% probably are not doing it. @Shin No. If that's the case your complaining about someone complaining. Two can play that game. But I'm not going to get into debates with the 5K+ posters. The people who most time of day is spent on a forum masturbating rather than doing the work. Like Leo said the ones actualizing aren't here to talk about it. That's why I said the "forum" is an example of people staying the same.
-
@Leo Gura Everything you disagree with is a false limiting belief these days. I can literally see accounts of people asking the same questions, arguing the same things, thinking the same thoughts as years ago. If you are honest you would say at least half the people are succeeding and the other half not. What I'm saying is if you been practicing a hobby for 3 years and you didn't improve or have nothing to show for then that's pretty bad.
-
You would think people on a actualized forum would become completely different over years, go from your average salary to riches or be enlightened enough not to want to spend their lives talking about enlightenment on a forum. If anything this forum proves to me people can't change. They constantly in a state of wanting to change, and in constant mental masturbation.

At this point youre just arguing for arguement sake, I wasn't expecting much I remember a few of your posts from 1-2 years ago. I'll see you two year from now asking the same questions. You're not going anywhere asking for different perspectives, once youre honest enough you realise the ego is just distracting you from actually doing shit. So keep asking the same questions, insanity is doing the same thing but expecting different results. Seeing as you like guides for video games, Google the guide to life. It's funny man how weak ass society has gotten they buy a hardcore game that's designed to challenge people, a game known to be hard and then they get a guide so they can take the path of least resistance even in that situation. Just to be another "me too" person (I played/beat that hardcore game too) . It's like buying a Where's Waldo book, but having big circles all over it, kinda like the party pooper ones in the library. -

Value is subjective unless you're talking about currency value. For example your dog might be your best friend in the world but for another it might just be food/meat or just another animal to ignore. The question you're essentially asking is "guys what colour is your favourite so I can choose my favourite colour". If you want your life purpose to be watching TV then do that but there are consequences one is you probably won't make money from it unless you find some unique way (think how streamers make money). Two, it probably wont help you grow and feel fulfilment. Spend a few days getting to really know what you want and do it. Doing something is better than doing nothing and if it ends up not being what you want then you discovered that is something you don't want. Once you commit give your life to it, make your entire life revolve around it. Drop the ego and serve it. The ego's whole purpose is to keep you comfortable. Ego is the thing that keeps leading you to the path of least resistance. It stops you from growing. If I said that hey being a monk and meditating in a cave 24/7 is the most valuable or being a hardcore athlete is the most important thing would that help you? Did you see Leo's blog about the enlightened master telling a disciple that hes not enlightened? The master knows because he who is enlightened wouldn't be seeking to be verified, he wouldn't care if a master told him otherwise, because it is just more illusion. As soon as you put that power in someone else's hand you're obviously not awake enough. Don't ask for answers from others seek to find it. (through yourself, you can't find intimacy/love with a girl through others opinion) Video games are the most fun when you accomplish it alone, if you read a guide through most of the game you might as well just watch a video of someone completing the game. -

You've been on the forums for a long, long time asking the same or similar questions, you've been spinning your wheels and stuck in mental masturbation. Some hard truths: 1: if actualized.org hasn't made you more productive or you have nothing to show for it after years then I'd suggest dropping it, clearly it's not working for you, not every system is for everyone, spiritual stuff is just distraction if you need to handle your financial problems first. Leo's barely does any content anymore on business, money or work. 2. What you need is not more compassion and love, or peace. You need to get kicked up the ass military style until you shift gears. We should all be thankful and fortunate enough that governments don't just filter and execute people who pretty much forfeit thier lives. 3. Try a more direct approach, try reading David Goggins book, he's not enlightened but probably lives life better than 99% of wannabe enlightened people. He had a messed up childhood and came back from it all. He learnt to love pain and discomfort, he's done marathons on broken legs and flayed his hands doing pull ups. He has chapters describing how he enters his own mind, the battle of it, how to overcome the mind so you can push way beyond what people think is humanely possible. 4. Be glad god doesn't smite your pathetic ass out of existence for wasting a life. You're taking life for granted. 5. There is no inherited purpose in life, enlightenment means you become aware that all there is you and your awareness, you only live your life or story. So if you say dancing, wrestling or art or whatever is the purpose of life then that's what it is, and it can even change if you want it to in the future. But anyone telling you that your goal or life purpose isnt worthwhile or good is BSing as long as you accept the consequences of whatever you chose. You're the only you and no one can decide what's best for you besides yourself, it's just a matter of which way you want to steer the movie, like a boat with sails. There's no guarantees but there is creating chances and opportunities. -
Sure you can always improve. But you might never be able to draw effortlessly from memory/imgination like Kim. The same way you won't be able to compete with Stephen Wiltshire in a city scape drawing, (without reference) you just won't ever be able to hold as much information as him, no matter how much you adopt or practice mastery. I know very good artist who get good at things, like character artist who can draw many great characters from imgination through sheer practice, but Kim is on another level, and he's known for it. Give him a paper and pen and he will draw endlessly like a human printer, and he draws all sorts of things, buildings, characters, animals, guns, cars, if he's seen it, he can draw it.
-
Why are you making this about me and my belief systems, I'm not interested in me. Unless you have proof that Kim Jung GI has no inherit ability you're just trash talking, this artist is known among the best artist and the art world for someone who has exceptional skills from being able to draw thousands of drawing from imgination/memory which is not something most artist can do so easily, he has a significant ability in it. Proko can't do what he does, he's own awe on him says it all. The comparison is like other footballers acknowledging Lionel Messi. I did not say that artist do not improve upon repetition and hours of practice, we already know thats how brains and neurons firing together work. So yes that is the only way to improve, it is practice. I'm saying no matter how much you do right, if you have the best diet, the best positive mindset, the best instructor you might still never beat Usain bolt in a sprint or he's best record. The next person who beats him will be that 1 in a million person. I'm sure you can understand that a dog's brain can't reach the level of a human, and that a ape's mind can't reach the level of a human, what I'm saying there that the same level of difference between 2 human brains can happen, although they are closer than other species there are still significant hard differences. To think otherwise is not a positive mindset, it's delusional, a person can have a positive mindset that he can push an on coming bus a 50mph because he feels like superman, and die. And I wasn't trying to discourage anyone, I'm offering legitmate good advice here, unless you can't survive without art, and you're addicted it, and are willing to work for free and do your drawings hour upon hours just for the fun of it, then art is not for that person, and it's definately not a career for the money. Sure you can get lucky and make millions of it, but so can you just win a lottery ticket at the same odds. Art is career that involves a lot of giving away and getting little in return, art is probably one of most free work done ever, just look at game forums/engines where most art request is "free" or "royalty" just look at how many people ask "can you draw me for free?", The youtuber DrawWithJazza has a whole video where he goes around asking people if they would give him free food/stuff in restaurants because this is what he gets ask all the time as an artist. Not many careers have the abbreviation "Starving", like "starving artist" does And many artist quit art, as mentioned in the book "Art and Fear", many people who graduate from art schools don't ever become working artist, so if I can make someone realise the seriousness of this career I might help save that person a potential waste of 30K+ in art school fees if he's not fully in it.

@CreamCat @Leo Gura I'm pretty certain that Kim Jung Gi has photographic memory, it’s a real thing, in an interview they asked him how he can draw so well from the imagination, and basically said "i look at references a lot, it's easy". Good luck as an average person remembering references off the top of your head! Here's another guy with photographic memory, usually people like this have other mental impairments though, like autism or social awkwardness, usually another part of the brain is compensating for it: Personally I find it less motivating and more like "God Given Talent" or "Hard wired for it". I also find it alarming how many people want to be an artist even on a forum like this, and how often Proko comes up on the internet, guy's if you can't live without art then drop it, saying I want to be an artist is equivalents to saying "I want to get paid to play video games", you're going into one of the most cliché, and hardest to make money industries. As an example, Artgerm is a God, and in an interview he said Capcom didn't want to pay him for commission so he did 2 free artworks (Ryu and Ken) for street fighter, before they decided to hire him. That's your level of competition. If you’re up for it, great, otherwise, run away, as fast as you can. I think this was the freework: And let's remember Van goth, a heavily stressed artist who couldn't make money, who cut off his ears and had mental issues, he's work was only worth something long after his death. And Hitler, he started World war 2, because he was pissed about his art, well that's was steven pressfield said in the war of art book, could be BS.
