  1. "Don't go there." - Dr. Hawkins
  2. The unconscious is absolute reality. Absolute reality became unconscious the moment you were born. It's the psyche that blocks out absolute reality and makes it unconscious. Spiritual practice is about directing the conscious awareness of the psyche back to the unconscious out of which it emerged. "Human consciousness develops out of the primal matter of the unconscious. Its growth is nourished by a continuing stream of contents from the unconscious that rises gradually to the level of consciousness, seeking to form a more complete, conscious person. The incorporation of unconscious materials must continue until, finally, the conscious mind reflects the wholeness of the total self." - Robert A. Johnson
  3. My absolute favorite.
  4. I don't understand what you're trying to say. I said that there is suffering and no suffering; both is true. That's not spiritual nonsense nor cheap words. It's the reality of the immensity that we find ourselves in.
  5. There is no end to the madness. You will exist forever, in some form or another. There is no birth, no suffering, no death; there is no end to birth, suffering, and death.
  6. Eternal Consciousness cannot disappear in the future. But your individual consciousness will disappear; that's death. Death is not imaginary. You will die, make no mistake about it. However, the more aware you are of Eternal Consciousness, the less of a problem your individual death is, for Eternal Consciousness is rebirthing itself into existence in every moment. Every moment is death.
  7. Yes, that's at the heart of the ego: resistance. The ego will go to any length to resist the truth of God, to deny the obviousness of what is. The ego's capacity for denial is staggering. Ego is found in mental and emotional patterns that put God to sleep. God gets lost in the vastness of the psyche. It's actually useful to create a list of all the differences between ego and God, falsehood and truth, illusion and reality, appearance and consciousness. For example, we've already said that ego resists. God accepts. Observe the differences as you go about your life: How does the ego behave? And how does consciousness move and speak? "It's really easy to be happy. Just drop your resistance. To what? Everything." - Adyashanti Resistance is the inception of ego. Resistance and attraction, which is a mechanical way of being, allowed the ego to survive for eons, but the misguided application of resistance and attraction has become the source of all suffering. The awakening of consciousness from the dream of the psyche is the beginning of a new way of being: a spontaneous way of being, not inhibited by the ego's fears and desires.
  8. There's a difference between loneliness and being alone. Egos feel lonely; it's an emotion. God, however, is simply alone.
  9. I got invited to a beta. Midjourney is incredible. My two favorite creators: I wish you guys could see the discord channels. It's infinite imagination. I could spend the whole day typing in ideas, but I ran out of credits. It'll be really interesting to see how this will develop. The sentence "human creativity will be the last thing that AI will replace" might end up being false. I don't think AI will replace human creativity entirely. AI will probably be a powerful tool that can be used to generate cool ideas. An artist could take these ideas and flesh them out.
  10. Suffering is inherent in life. But there's unnecessary suffering and there's legitimate suffering. Legitimate suffering is necessary; it's part of your growth, no matter how enlightened you get. A conscious human being will reduce his unnecessary suffering that is caused by the insanity of the ego, but I think even that cannot be completely eliminated. Adyashanti admitted that he still gets annoyed by his printer. That's a mild form of suffering. Does that mean Adya has no insight into no-self and truth? Of course not. We all have our hang-ups, because, no matter how conscious we get, there's still a fallible human being.
  11. Oh, it's available in HD already. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Adyashanti spent his twenties chasing enlightenment while working as a bicycle mechanic. When he reached his thirties, he thought, "This enlightenment thing is not happening, and I still have a life to live." So that's not an approach that I would recommend. You will not get anything out of enlightenment. Spend your twenties focusing on becoming so good they can't ignore you. Develop skills and become valuable. Valuable people get paid money. Once you have the money, once you've established yourself, you will naturally get interested in higher things, and you'll be at a place where you have the opportunity to pursue those things. Consider the possibility that working on your career might be the most spiritual thing that you can do right now, even though it doesn't look spiritual. There is no difference between spirituality and life. Live your life. I have the LP course too; it's a great course, get as much out of it as possible. Buy the book list too, if you haven't already, and read the books in the success section.
  13. I'm taking Adya's "Fierce Love" course, and he's also saying that ultimate reality is beyond love, but that love is one of the first manifestations of ultimate reality. That's represented by the map of consciousness too. At the top of the map, you have pure consciousness, which is an infinite field of potentiality that manifests as peace, joy, and love. Ultimate reality is not indifferent; it's impersonal. The view of God as indifferent is at the level of pride. However, at the top of the map, God simply is. The point of life is to become more like God and manifest peace, joy, and love. To do that, you need courage. Courage alone is powerful; it's the foundation and it's connected to all of the other noble values of humanity: integrity, honesty, unity, truth, peace, joy, and love. When you listen to interviews with Rowling, she talks about her value of courage. And we all know the impact she had. Ramana's definition of enlightenment was "absolute courage in all situations."
  14. Should DMT be done on an empty stomach? Any other advice?
  15. I want to share this channel. Some conversations on this channel are insightful and interesting. Here are three of my favorites so far:
  16. God isn't surprised. Surprise is a human emotion. God just is.
  17. @Vincent S Thank you!
  18. The difficult thing is to get the DMT from the plastic bag onto the milligram scale. Are there any tips for that?
  19. My Drip Tip is only 2,5cm (1 inch) long. Is that too short?
  20. I made a thread about that exactly a year ago.
  21. I agree with this. "There is one proof of the pudding. Are you still in conflict? Do you experience emotional and psychological conflict? That's the liberation part. No more argument with yourself, no more argument with death, no more argument with God, no more argument with the world." - Adya
  22. Can't wait to watch that movie. Unfortunately, I have to wait until it's available on streaming sites.
  23. Charisma combined with humor is a superpower.
