Mick West is a voice of reason, unlike Bob Lazar. -

I ordered this shirt: I wish there was more Moby-Dick merchandise.

Weird behavior can often be explained, too. Mick West does a good job at that. -
I love this: Moby-Dick is much more than a "revenge is bad" story -- it's more profound than that.

Masturbation makes me weak -- I can feel it in the gym. It even makes me suicidal. So, NoFap is highly justified for me. To call meditation a gimmick is unwise. Many problems are caused by lack of mindfulness. But mindfulness training doesn't become valuable until your brain chemistry is healthy. Lack of exercise, masturbation, and heavy metals can ruin your brain chemistry, and then there is no point in meditation at all. Fix your brain chemistry before attempting to meditate, because meditation itself won't fix your brain chemistry. Meditation works on the level of the mind, but you have to deal with the matters of matter, too. -

I second that. Do meditation in addition to NoFap and going to the gym. -

Manmade objects can look otherworldly; for example, the SR-71 Blackbird and the F-117 Nighthawk. Pilots can get confused, too; that's what happened in the '50s: Look at the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit. In my opinion, CIA's secret aircraft projects explain the majority of UFO sightings. -
I think Terence is relatively close, but, yeah, they missed Alan's voice. Better than the Her version, though.

Not a bad movie. Probably difficult to relate to if you don't have a sister or brother.

I love how they used Hitler as an example of a great speaker, and it's the same moment I linked to here:

Unexpectedly emotional. Worth watching.

As slow and boring as a movie gets. Beautiful photography, though.

Good scene that one ? I got into Bergman because in McKee's opinion he is "the cinema's finest screenwriter". So far, I've only watched The Seventh Seal and Persona. I might watch Wild Strawberries, too. You can see the influence Persona had on Mulholland Drive, which is a movie I like:

Discovered this song through The Favourite (2018) by Yorgos Lanthimos, the director of The Lobster.

Unfortunately, a belated beginning.

Hitler's downfall is a good metaphor for how spiritual work actually works. "When the relationship ended, I felt completely stripped of any self-image, as if it had all been torn away and cast on the ground." - Adyashanti "Failure is a stripping away of the inessential. I stopped pretending to myself that I was anything other than what I was." - J.K. Rowling The Soviets pushing in is like the truth pushing in, putting pressure on everything that is false within you. The truth will strip you, crush you, and empty you until you become a hollowed out servant of truth. That's how evolution works, individually and collectively, and it's not a pleasant process for anyone.
