@DrewNows Fair enough. I am completely off of facebook for now, but I will resume it at some point. I will dig into some research on the topic in general. Thanks for calling my attention to it! -

@DrewNows No problem! Do you have any pets following this? I know the dog food is pure trash, but is not something I have had control over. I would like to give something a shot though to make my dog healthier. -
Starting to read some more investing books. Reading the intelligent investor, which is Warren Buffets most recommended book. I am really liking it so far. I am about 10% into it and I am learning a good amount of stuff. I can tell there is many layers to investing it seems like, so I am going to have to keep learning over time. I am hoping to sell some of my larger ticket ebay items and put them into some index funds. But I will probably just contribute monthly to them as time goes on anyway. I can still see I have a lot to learn about valuating individual stocks too. I finished reading permission marketing this weekend too. That was quite a good book, but a fair amount of the stuff was dated since it came out around 2002, but it was intresting to hear about the companies then too. I have be getting a lot of use out of this cheap kindle I got. This was a really good investment and should pay itself off after I read a few books. I am getting use to the idea of not having the physical book, while I do like looking at the physical selection while deciding to read. The fact that I can have it virtually within minutes makes a big difference. I never thought I would like to use one of these, but it just shows that I need to try more things and try new technology. Not to say I will never read a physical print again, but I think most of my reading will be done on this. I might even buy one of the fancier ones in the future. But for $24.99 this has kicked some ass. I am going to work on training my reading speed to 400 wpm. I am at about 230 wpm right now and a big time loss is the fact that I have inner monologue over each word. I am going to practice to keep practicing this, but I can see an obvious value by trying to nearly double this. In taking 2x the amount of books in the same amount of time would be a serious gain. Had a lot of allergy issues this weekend, which sucked. I was going to finish some video stuff, but I can do it on my two days this week. I have 5 videos all planned out now, so I should be back on a roll with them soon. I do need to just get out and record stuff, but I hit a creative block a bit. I also had a hard time with the fact that my titles have no good keywords, so this time I have good ones that I spent a good amount of time researching. I think that will help enhance the reach out a bit. Going to be trying some new stuff as well and see how that goes. I am a bit excited to see how it goes. That is a big chunk of what has caused a delay too with adding so much stuff. I also have read a nearly 700 page book and did a lot of other research to prepare the videos, which was a lot more than usual. I am going to take it easy on myself if I get in a creative block. I will get better with it over time. I dropped all facebook usage complexly including messenger because of the fact I don't have much business use there. I have been sitting there looking at this crap to help me get up early easier, but I am not replacing it with reading! Which actually does motivate me to do it lol. Today I am thankful for Allergies starting to clear up (We will see if I go outside in a day or two lol) Kindle Making improvements

@Keyhole German shepard, not sure on the other dog, and 3 cats. How about you? -
I have been reading a a lot of Seth Godin lately and have found it quite useful. His stuff seems to be quite useful and effective. It goes against a lot of the grain of typical marketing you see by most of the companies. I know he has taken a lot of inspiration from him too though. Leo does not seem to do a lot of heavy marketing anymore and does a lot more conscious marketing, but uses a lot of Seth's techniques still within videos. You are going to do a lot of trail and error to come up with ways that are going to work well and be effective. I don't think being conscious about it is really going to slow you down much. But most good marketing is not just going to blow up over night either. Copying someone is obviously not going to work, but if you study what Leo does for example you can find things that you could create into your own. That goes with the marketing strategy of anything. As for a specific coach that you would go with I don't have any suggestions there aside from the suggested material above. I would suggest investing your money into a lot of high quality books and courses on the topic.

You would likely be going into business by yourself and not with a bunch of other people if you are deciding to make your business much above orange. Yes, you could find clients that are looking for that type of service, but you're going to lose a lot of clients if you pick solely on what stage you base that industry in depending on where you are finding clients. You will also be moving into a smaller market, but that is not a bad thing. Most of the biggest successes are going to be found in niches and not the mainstream. There are some products that are starting to move away from orange. Alternatives like green energy, plant based products, various education, charities, etc. But even a lot of that stuff is going to be riddled with corruption and greed. You can look at a company like apple that has arguably changed the world dramatically, but their factories where iphones are produced have nets installed around them to catch employees who jump off to try to kill themselves. Mostly it is going to come down to your values though. -

@Nahm You have your own book coming out?! How exciting! I'll be on the lookout for it. Consider doing digital too lol. I have been loving this kindle I got recently. -
You are learning about some cutting tech by being in the blockchain industry. If I were in your position I would try to become a freelance for companies looking to develop blockchain protocols seeing as most of your values would align with that, but you will know what feels right. You can also consider making your own blockchain. There is plenty of money in that field. Yes, there was a larger boom and bust cycle, but there is a lot of potential usage in ones like ethereum. Not to mention there is attractiveness for companies to get involved with it. More and more I see mainstream investors picking up a bit of interest in even BTC. Things like ETFs and credible investment brokers carrying crypto related products will really help bring more interest and money into that market into the future. I highly suggest you read through Andreas Antonopoulos's work. I highly suggest you try to take control of your gambling addiction first before you worry about much else. It sounds like that is something that really needs your attention most. Leo has some really good videos regarding addictions to look into.

This is one of my favorite sites for look at companies so far for a quick glance https://simplywall.st/stocks/us I have used a dummy trading one in the past, but I can't recall what it was. I don't know what a good one would be. I have heard really good things about this site and planed to use it more here is their simulator https://www.investopedia.com/simulator/ One of the biggest things with trading like that is it is quite similar to gambling to the brain. It can be really attractive, but like I said most people do not beat the markets. A very high percentage of people make more money just putting it into index funds and wait. But that is not to say you cannot do it. But I think there will be a lot more to it and it will take a lot of time and energy to get it to a high enough level. You would also have to stake higher and higher amounts of money in order to make a living with it. It is totally up to you. I think investing is good to learn about though all around from my experience. I just think that a lot of people promote trading as a get rich quick type of thing, when it is not. Only a small percent really hit it big with trading if you look even in just trading groups with thousands and thousands of members. More practical though could be techniques like swing trading though and that could help yield a better profit in something you are knowledgeable about to start in. I would also have to say I have never sold an investment. So I can't really anything about trading from experience, but more from what I have observed. But I have done well by just letting things grow over the years.

@Butters I end up getting burnt out hard if I don't stick with it. It works really well for me. Give it a shot!

There is always a cycle it seems. Life is an interesting game and it seems to be full of suffering. But it is really what you make of it and how you react to it. Your beloved pet will die, your family, friends, etc. Everything you work for in life eventually gets destroyed and a lot of the time you will watch it crumble. It makes it so pointless and so meaningful at the same time. I usually feel kind of like crap on the weekend, but enjoy my time off. Once Monday comes I spent all weekend thinking of new ways to improve my businesses and go at them hard all week full of energy, then rinse and repeat. But my health, mood, etc always has a swing like that. The high would not really be so good if you just felt like that all the time. The low would not be as bad if you felt like that all the time either.

@karkaore There is money to be made in trading. But most investors are beat literally by people who just hold investments in stuff like the S&P 500. Now if you want the money to come faster and you want to practice, then you can make plenty of money becoming a good trader. I am more into buying and holding investments that I believe to be good. But I know that I am not the best investor and there are so many things out there I cannot have knowledge of. I am aiming to build a portfolio based off information from Warren Buffets value investing style, and Jack Bogle's indexing. But my research is not going to stop there. That is just the start of it really and adding my own stuff to it, but also building a foundation of stuff that is known to work. It would be wise to learn about all of this stuff in general I think if you plan to trade or not. But I would suggest building a portfolio that is for the long term as well. There are so many things out of your control and things you will not know that it will be hard to predict value of things over the long term. Are you looking to do this as a primary income, or just an investment strategy? What attracts you to foreign exchanges? I can't really comment on the person showing the strategy, but I will say there is a lot more people out there giving bad investing advice, than anything good.

@Aquarius I appreciate that. I have good luck by saying the speech several times before actually doing it. My success rate skyrockets! Practice really does make perfect. The more your practice anything you are going to inevitably get better than someone who is talented and does not practice. I do agree to the level of spontaneous though too. I would start by making yourself an outline of of the speech. Start with a high quality hook/introduction this is going be what really keeps the viewer there is arguably more important than anything you say during the whole thing. If you fail to get the attention of your viewer they are going to click off the video early on. I would say you could almost spend more time constructing this, than doing any other part of the speech. Now that you have that I like to try to remember a sequence of words to help keep me in track while I am on a speech. So lets say I am doing a presentation about a car brand. Here is what my outline in my head would look like Intro/hook Founding/founder information -Interesting facts about founder -Interesting facts about the brand starting What made it so popular -Specific car model details -Specific advertising details What it is currently like -Changes with their cars -Changes with their Advertising Summary/Recap So what I would do here is remember each bold section to a level where I can call on it anytime I get stuck during my speech. I can transition to the next section or it reminds me of what I am currently talking about. The other stuff is filler things that you have information on from researching or knowing the topic well. By performing it a few times typically each time you do it a little more information will just gradually come out. If you start practicing with shorter speeches it will be a lot easier for you to master the quality and consistency. Build your way up to creating even better longer ones. Now you being able to product a long one right off the bat is great! Having that confidence and knowledge on the topic is great. But if you master it is segments you are going to cut a lot of filler and give the viewer exactly what they are looking for faster. When you watch Leo you notice there is not really much filler at all. I assume through most of his earlier video he probably has something like the example above set somewhere to keep him on course. But with his many years of practice and mastery over the topic it is a lot easier for him to articulate stuff cleanly for hours at a time. -
@Kalki Avatar That sounds pretty interesting. Thanks for your suggestion!

Had an issue during some mediation it seemed like I could have this cracking or something in my head on deeper breaths. I have had a bit of a headache today I think resulting from that. It did not hinder me much today, but my head still seems to hurt. Not really sure what that happened or the cause of that. I hope it recovers while I rest though. Starting to really get back on track and ready to start jogging a bit again soon. I am glad I have taken my resting seriously this time for my leg. I probably could start up right now, but I am going to wait until next week just to give it a bit of extra healing time. Then I am going to start it out by ramping it up slowly only doing a mile I think for the first week of jogging and then just walking the other 5 miles. Hopefully I can get myself back on track soon and start getting more out of it. Getting pretty excited to put out this new work. I missed my self imposed deadline a few times, but I honestly it was good to reset my creativity and learn some new stuff. I think I found a niche that is going to really pay off. So the rate I was going was not really getting results, but was more of just practice really. I want to see some more results coming in a bit and this will be an awesome start. I just finished reading a marketing book and I am reading another one now too. This author is amazing so far and is really helping me bring up a lot of ideas for what I want to do and make. I am just going to roll with this even if it is late. I would rather it be late and high quality, than rushed and low quality. I am excited to see how this will go for me. Today I am thankful for Kindle! Sun Leg muscle healing

@Nahm Yeah, LPC was honestly some of the best $250 I have spent in my life. It all depends on the user though. I am not even done either. But going way over the extra mile at one of the assignments. I would like to invest in a retreat myself. Really trying to work on my mediation though and get it to a level where I could actually handle that. Small business sucks quite a bit of money from me too, so have to juggle things a bit. What would you invest in? If you are getting it or not. Just if you had $1,200 extra come in. -

@Keyhole Yeah, vet bills can get expensive fast! We found a vet that is about an hour drive from here plus it is at a beach. We go there and it is like 1/3 or less than the cost of the ones locally. Get to spend a day at the beach and save some money! -
You are going to have to click back through each lesson and look at the suggested resources. You will see the suggested ones there.

@Chumbimba Cool, that sounds like a good one! Thank you. @Hardik I have heard of him before. I will look into it! Thanks!

@Aquarius It's really difficult to articulate high depth topics. Practice makes perfect though. I would consider splitting it into segments. But nothing wrong with keeping the video up and just making some additions. There is a large amount of depth on just this topic alone. I regret deleting my older videos due to the fact it is interesting to see how much I have improved. But from deleting them I no longer have any of them. So keep them there and just keep improving. I tried to comment on the actual video, but I think it got withheld. Regardless I suggested for you to research toast masters. -
Average Investor replied to Aquarius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Making videos takes a lot of time and pratice. I have made over 100 youtube videos total on various channels and it has taken time. But I think a big piece is in the practice and not so much just making a video. You will get there! Making the content and getting it out there is a great start, keep it up! -
Just finished a great mediation session where I did not need to move my legs and they did not fall asleep nearly as bad. I am doing stretching before each session and it makes a huge difference each time. I think this will help prevent me from getting injured when I get back to jogging too. I am taking a couple week break from jogging to finally let that muscle fully heal. I want to be able to jog like I use to and it has sucked not being able to. So I think this will be best to build this habit with this. I am pretty sure I got injured last time from not stretching enough. I am really happy that I have built my life around not depending on contact with others so much. It has really helped me with this quarantine. This is almost exactly what I would normally be doing, so it is not too bad at all. This type of life style seems to be really paying off for me. I really enjoy my businesses, reading, meditating, and I still push myself with stuff. I feel like my life is really good. I am really lucky for all of the opportunities I have in my life. I am still pondering my life purpose more. I am still working on what the exact thing should be, but I feel like I am going down the right path. It is pretty hard for me to get myself to make videos sometimes, but I feel really good about the process and the result of it. I feel so much better about it than the reselling work. But I still enjoy reselling too. Both are really awesome. I feel like I will narrow it down a bit more to a niche as time goes on. I want to be sure not to turn this work into an ideology, but instead make useful things that I enjoy and can help people with. Today I am thankful for Meditation session Good energy Getting stuff done!

The problem with getting higher education towards it is the fact that it is illegal either way. But it could not hurt depending on what you study. If you were to study say all of the physiology aspects and teach yourself all of the aspects about psychedelics that could be a good route. The only problem I could see is that a lot of the traditional education with that is very close minded. You are wanting to gear this for spiritual use too, which you will not learn anything worthwhile in college about that. If you look into even the earlier alcoholics anonymous it actually used LSD and there is a huge field for how this stuff can be used an integrated into peoples lives. I have seen huge success with addicts getting off heroin with ibogane as well. But that is just some of the possible benefits. We are exploring this is so many different ways that these could be used. Especially opening up new doors for spirituality too. If you are wanting to get a higher education to make yourself seem more credible I honestly would not waste your time if you are planning on doing your own gig. Not to say there is not some useful stuff there that could help, but I really think a lot of that type of education is stuck in the past. I would instead spend your money on the best books, courses, and experimenting the substances yourself. But make sure you document your progress on it all the way through and build up a vast library of knowledge for this subject. I personally don't vet someone by if they have a degree or not and think it is become less and less valuable here in the US. I think for a large portion of the subjects offered it is a complete waste of time. You can teach yourself anything with the best teachers by yourself for a fraction of the money. Not to mention you are not even going to find a course there for exactly what you want to do, but maybe bits and pieces of it. I would invest all of those thousands of dollars into the actual retreat center and your own knowledge. You are going to want to see how far you can even go with a retreat center too. If things go well you might have the best luck in Colorado or Washington if you plan to come to the US as those two seem to be more and more open to this kind of stuff. Colorado is especially moving in that direction. There are also some protection with "religion" based stuff as we have protections in the constitution to protect certain things regarding that. That might be a route to research as well.

Managed to get a lot of cleaning and organizing done. This will cut out my $80 a month storage fee, so that will help me be able to reinvest into getting stuff set up to sell faster. I should have done this awhile ago, but at least it is done now and I won't have to pay anymore. I am not sure how much other expenses I can really cut out much. I pay a lot for my food, but I feel like that is worth it regardless. I might set it up so the $80 goes to the S&P 500 automatically, but I want to get things moving a bit first. I need to buy some gear to sell items. Going to try some new creative stuff with this other business. I am not sure exactly where I want it to take me yet, but it will be interesting. I have some really good ideas for it right now I think though. I have been practicing a lot for this and I think it will do well. I mostly just enjoy what I am doing though. I think the reselling takes up quite a bit of time and is kind of unavoidable though for this. Plus right now I want to ramp up sales and get inventory out, so a lot of my energy is going to that. It's what I need to do though regardless. I am working on resetting my creativity a bit though and not trying to force out stuff. I am excited to do some photoshop and stuff tomorrow. That will be a nice change of pace after 3 days of a lot of reselling work. My meditation practice is going really well. I can almost last the entire 25 minutes now without my legs completely falling asleep. I can get in so much more deeper meditative states. I start to notice it changes my reality a bit in regards to when I close my eyes or want to access this state while doing other things. Not really sure how to explain that exactly, but it gives me a lesser worry to my existence I suppose. It is still a bit difficult to pull this offer 3 times a day, but I am getting there. I am going to try to add some contemplation after it I think at some point too. Today I am thankful for Getting my space cleaned out! Feeling better! Sun!
