Really getting somewhere with this meditation practice. This is starting to open me up a lot more emotionally. I had a really interesting experience with it today, which I have never had before doing it. I am seeing massive gains it seems like at this point from building up this habit. I am sure it can go a lot deeper. This is likely just the start, but I am seeing a real pay off at this point it feels like. That was a very emotional experience and I have not really had any intense emotions in a long time. Really working through all of my old inventory. I have so much stuff to go through it seems like, but I am making swift progress. This is the fastest I have ever made this type of progress with moving stuff like this. I need really keep reinvesting into this and getting things flowing well. I have made so much progress it seems like since this quarantine started. It really give me the boost I needed to get through all of this stuff and really expand my business. I am excited to see how things keep progressing from here. I can't even imagine what things could look like next year if I keep pace with this. These trips have really elevated my inner growth. I am keeping pace with things it seems like and really growing a lot. I am going to keep track of it and make sure I really don't overdue it though. I can tell I could handle more, but I don't want to push the limit. I am sure there will still be a bit of fallout from this one maybe, but it seems like I already fought off some backlash. My habits are coming back in full force it seems like and my schedule is going very well. I feel much better today it seems like. Goals This Year:(I will update more in depth progress as I go. Read 44 Books $1,000 out of $6000 invested $1,200 out $3,000 saved (still waiting on check, but it counts for now lol I tended to all other expenses) Run Marathon I have some other various goals for each business and such that I will figure out how to maybe format them better to look at them more often. I was going to print them off for my door. Today I am thankful for Getting shed cleaned! Seriously needed to be done bad Clearer vision for reselling business Emotional progress

Caffeine was giving me anxiety and I was not even aware of it for a long time. You'll be glad you quit. For me it was one of the easier things to quit, but it depends on the intake you had and for how long. Your energy will be much more sustainable once you get rid of it. If you add in better diet and exercise it will really give you a good boost in your regular energy too.

You could learn how to set up a Roth IRA and invest for retirement. Even just putting a portion of that out into a index fund like the S&P 500 could give you a sizable return. You could start a business as well. You could also invest into your own development, books, seminars, retreats, water purifier, etc. You could probably just get a budget gaming system and do a lot of what I mentioned above.

@Rhia It's always good to analyze yourself and see how you can improve. You are in the most control of that anyone. From what you described that just sounds like someone that is a bad leader. It takes some time to learn to read people for sure. I have lost thousands of dollars from making poor choices of people that I associated with. I have learned some really good lessons though. You'll move forward and grow from the situation. I would work on less trying to paint a picture of them being a negative person if you can. More just observe from them in what you can improve yourself. Easier said than done and it is something that I am working on myself. You're going to run into a lot of people an situations you cannot control. You can use those to your advantage by using it to grow yourself. However, if you can limit and distance yourself from those situations that is likely a better route.

It sounds like this was more of a post to vent. Although, I figured I would say that in the future I would just avoid mixing friends too much with work and same with romantic relationships. It never seems to end well in my experience. Same with having a friend as a business partner is usually not that great. Although, you could find the perfect person to work with or run a business with you have to be a good judge of character and know your own work style. Your friend likely just has really poor leadership skills. Not that they want to hurt or manipulate you most likely. Rather that they think they are properly managing and helping the organization. Some people are definitely not cut out for it. Ironically a lot of bosses assume someone cut throat is the best, but that judgement itself shows poor leadership abilities. Your friendship is probably not that strong being as it has hardly been a year since you have been friends in the first place. Taking a commitment to working with someone like that is hard. You have to consider humans typically put their interests as a top priority as well, which you can use to your benefit if you can meet somewhere in the middle. People aren't usually wanting to just help others just because, but it does happen. It's a good experience to learn from though. I hope you can put this to good use.

I seem to be getting things back on track in terms of habits. Working on trying to get my reading back up to a higher level. I realize that I am likely just hitting ego back lash. I think especially with tripping as well too is ramping that up. I notice I am becoming much more conscious of other life and people feelings. I seem to be able to bare personal attacks really well at least at the moment. I am sure it will come in a bit of a cycle, but this seems to me my momentum overall. I notice I am buying myself a bit more stuff. Not really to that high of a dollar expense, but since I have been able to source reselling stuff online I just keep a bit of stuff that I want. I mean I don't mind having beat up and broken stuff, but it is nice to have a upgrade if it is cheap. I realize the more I am able to withstand from buying anything I will grow my savings and business faster. I want to be able to treat myself to nice stuff without breaking the bank. Especially if I really enjoy it or it will benefit my growth a lot. I think I need a fair degree of self love to treat myself every now and then. I say this and all I bought was a pair of $30 headphones and a $42 cracked ipad, but typically anything else is just business. Nothing crazy, but I could sell these for quite a bit more, so there is a loss of a realized gain. I am doing really good at bringing in consistent inventory too through online. I am trying out some new niches with it and expanding a bit. I have a pretty large knowledge of items, so I can pick up good deals in a lot of categories. I try to buy items that are cheap to ship like $3.5 and buy at about 50% of value or less. I don't make the whole 50% of course with fees, but it adds up nicely and the stuff I buy sells pretty fast. I just invested in professional white photo paper for my backgrounds. I need to invest into some more poster gear, so I can start listing those too. My items are going to look a lot closer to almost a stock photo and I take the picture with a 12mp phone camera, so things will look incredible. That is one of the main reasons I can charge so much more than others online too. I am doing really well at pace with reinvesting this money before taxes are due. I hope that I can keep things up though and get some more momentum going. I would like to invest about $400 into poster gear hopefully soon. I will see how it goes. I know that if I start to get things rolling with that I should see a lot higher revenues coming in. Today I am going to try to repair a 90s pc and if I can do that it will be worth about $400. I have a huge TV sitting in the back of my car that is the old crt style that I need to try to clean the vcr head and I think I can list that for about $550 if I get the vcr working better. Shipping will eat up a good bit of that. I also need to repair this macbook once the part comes and it will be worth about $600 once I do that. So knocking out these few big ticket items will really help. I am using an app with the ipad to help me manage which tasks I am on and it seems to be really helping so far. I am starting to get more on top of what needs to be done. Although the $20,000 is ambitious I will surely keep trying. I am going to focus in on more achievable goals. The main notable things in progress. While I want to set the bar higher I will surely keep trying. I feel like this is still really solid giving my current positioning. Read 44 books (About half way done) Invest $6,000 (1/6 done) Save $3,000 (1/3 done with stimulus) Run Marathon (Not sure if I will go to run one this year, but I bet if I keep training I could.) I am in quite good physical shape. Of course I would like to gain $20,000 in savings, but I think with how I am investing into my business it will take more time for me to get more cash flow. However, we will see. I could find items worth thousands once this season picks up more and I have a lot of systems in place to raise my income. Today I am thankful for Waking up earlier Feeling motivated Fixing free laptop! Will sell for $150 when I don't want it anymore

@Artiekee Glad you got some value of these posts! Yeah, I am a member of two groups. Right now it is all online, so it would be a good time for you to try it out and see how you like it. Basically each meeting has about two speeches usually 5-7 minutes, table topics (1-2mins impromptu speeches), and speech evaluations. It is $60 for 6 months, but it is worth it. You should be able to navigate their site or just do an online search for a group in your area.

@Raptorsin7 You have to consider though even being in gold is like the top 30% of a US players as it is. The more you narrow that down the harder and longer it will be until your progress. You're already good at the game and better than the average player. It will take some years to grow and develop the skill set required to climb that high. That's what makes it so valuable though. Why not show your journey on the way up there? To follow your progress as you build and progress in the game and in life. No one starts as just a master and I think you're missing an opportunity to grow that audience that is interested in those techniques to advance now. I give people "good" advice on how to run a business and it's not like I am a millionaire or something. I have helped people make more money than I do though and sometimes that is part of how it goes. Someone watching you might get that bit of extra edge that puts them to the next rank. from your tips. Tilt is the main thing that will keep you in gold in my opinion. I mean you can be really good to make up for it, but it throws your game off so much. If you can focus that energy on taking every little bit to win you will start seeing more wins. Take every little advancement and stall out games. I had won games that were 4v5 from that start in that win streak with my team only having 4. I would boost up as much the best teammates that I could and use them to lead us to victory. Can't win every game and I have to admit even at the time I would research some of my teams stats and stuff and I would literally have people on my team sometimes who were doing their first ranked games ever and had just reached level 30.
-
When I quit playing a few years back I was on a 14 game win streak that put me into gold. A few things that really helped get me winning so much was to not worry at all about the teammates. Barron plays were huge and control over that would win games easily at that rank. I ran a razor naga 6 button mouse and that made a massive difference in playing for me with the 6 buttons there. Following a lot of guides and keeping up with the meta was really important for me to move upward. A lot of it is just mindset. I would not worry so much about losing and instead just focus on the little bits where you can improve. I am not sure how high I would have ranked when I stopped because I was doing so good and just quit. Mastery mindset is huge with that game and that was my real first taste of it. It is much different than other games in the fact that mastery is so highly regarded within the community.

@Itsokimok I mean if your net worth is not really that high and you're not entering a risky business (I am not any sort of legal advisor). I would just hop in and start learning as you go. These things are really good to learn and you can learn them as you go. You won't need to know this stuff if you don't have customers or revenue. The marketing would help you get some of those, but still. Don't get too lost in the theory and work things out as you go. You will learn much better that way and retain it better most likely.

It likely will lead you down another path as you go. I do the same thing and it has found me a lot of good things while I am not 100% sure I should do it. It got me into toast masters and I would continue to do that even if I stopped the Youtube. I have found a lot of new skills and things to work on. It has also pushed me to go deeper into my work. My issue is more on the fact that I am teaching something, but feel like I am diving into a whole other level on my own growth and the stuff is much more implicit. I'd consider myself quite good at helping and guiding people from just having a natural skill in it. If I continued to hone it I would be quite good. I am still going to dive in deeper and deeper and see what I find. I am not just wanting to make a clone channel of Leo and if I really go into something I want to get to a level where I am exploring new depths and pushing the limits as I get masterful. I would not worry so much about competition for it though. The bar to entry is really high in this type of stuff. Just as you are feeling that imagine all the people you see here wanting to do the same thing and how they will feel as a year or so will go by without a lot of growth. I look at more of what I do right now as practice and for my own growth. Just feel it out. It is really hard to make the connections of stuff you do looking into the future, but easy to see how they connect looking back. Also, I would think maybe you chose the wrong thing if it just feels boring after a week. Usually I feel quite energetic and ready to go at the start of a project. Now when shit starts to hit the fan and you hit a dip that is tough that is where you will really be tested if you are in it for the long run or not. -
I have had a lot of luck with just going out and doing it and learning a long the way. I am sure you can find a good course to accompany you though. I would get some theory down, then go and give it a try. Some things I suggest learning How and why to form an LLC. How to do taxes with maximum deductions and keep good records. Both of the above can be paid for and done professionally. I would recommend that if you are not willing to deeply research it. Any mistakes on these can cost you a lot of money. Marketing (Will vary on what you want to do) These are probably the most essential things worth studying. Now if you have a specific field you want to enter I could probably come up with some more suggestions. But nailing these things down will help give you protection and maximum profits. It's a lot of work and it takes a lot of time and consistency to make something work. Once you find your field you are going to enter start studying the best in that industry and find good resources to give you the best tips and tricks to get your business rolling. You don't need to reinvent the wheel as there will likely be many others who have used proven paths to profitability. But that is not to say to just make your business a clone of others. By figuring out how to make your service different or better you are going to yield much better results.

Didn't make the progress I wanted to on video stuff for the two days. I did get a little bit of stuff ready. I am going to try to batch videos for this time and have a few things planned. I think that will help me get more on track with what I want to do with it. I am going to do some LPC today and some reading. Then tomorrow probably going to rest a lot. I have a couple little tasks I should probably take care of while I am at it too though. Feel like I have been slacking on a few habits and such. Not terribly, but I would like to get myself back on track. I think the main important thing to focus on is the consistent wake up time. I feel like this is causing me a lot of issues and really limiting the amount of stuff that I get done. It make my schedule feel cramped and I can't nearly get as much done with it. I set up a back up alarm and I need to think about what I should do right when I wake up. If I had a task or something on hand for when I get it up it would be a lot easier. Not getting as much stuff online it seems like to buy to sell. It seems like a bit of the influx of that has dropped off. I am not sure if that will be a temporary source or not. Either way I am pretty happy with the results of the stuff I got from it so far and if I can't get much more, then it is not too big of a deal. Going to continue to keep working on knocking out as much inventory as I can. Not going to worry so much about my profits right now. More so on what it will look like just having a large amount of stuff for sale at once is going to continue to increase my monthly revenues. This will give me a lot more flexibility and if I decide to travel I will be able to do it this year. It would be cool to do a retreat maybe if I can too. I am going to focus in on some high dollar items here for a bit too. I want to keep bringing up my average sale price. Today I am thankful for No rain Rest time Good health

@paprika Having your own clients is great. Especially once you work your way up you can choose who you want to deal with. If people are annoying, cheap, etc I just show them the door. But from the sounds of it though it sounds like you should explore some other options of new environments. It sounds like you are not working that well with others and have the skills and experience to make it work on your own. You will have to decide what you want. But if you want to do it on your own be prepared to work extra hard, but it will be worth it. You will have to liekly balance out figuring that out with your current position though too. Is the place your work for grant funded?

Seeing as much of a premium there is on electronics and stuff I do want to make sure I keep more of this stuff sold than held once these prices change a bit. I am wondering how spending will look like next month assuming that maybe only a few will be getting the stimulus and some stuff is opening up a bit. It will be interesting to see how things go. Of course I am just going to keep adding more items for sales and just seeing where it goes. I am working on knocking out as much old inventory as I can. I have so much stuff to work though it is going to take a long time lol. But I am happy that I am starting to work through these items and take the time to work on this stuff. I am really starting to keep track of it all and work on those items I have just kind of let sit around. I decided to invest into the professional microphone for my phone. I am going to keep at this even if there is resistance. I really like it deep down and it feels good to have this work out there. It is going to take time for it to grow and for my ability and skills to grow, so I am not really in any huge rush for it to take off or anything. I like the reselling and I am fine if that makes me my money. I am going to keep at it and do more work on LPC and keep diving deeper into my own development. It will be interesting to see how I progress with this. I feel so much more confident and my speaking skills are getting good. I have quite a ways to go to go with speaking though. It will take a lot of practice. My meditation habit is really becoming solid with the posture now. I am feeling sometimes like I could have easily went past the 20 minute time. The only struggle is usually just my first session in the morning, but I am working on that. I am starting to pick back up on reading a bit now too. I needed a bit of slow down for a bit as I was reading a ton. I want to be at a good level where I really enjoy it. Part of it was the topic I am reading though right now too. I am going to have to be able to break through that because not all the books that will further my growth are going to be a fun read. Today I am thankful for Inventory coming in No money issues Switching back to mostly organic foods

@Raphael I've started businesses with $100 or less before. It all depends on what you are doing. If you can sell a product or service with just a minimal investment go from there. It really just depends on your ability to make a profit on what you are selling or offering. Obviously the actual paperwork to register everything can be a couple hundred or so if you filed everything yourself to become a legitimate business. But in terms of getting something just off the ground a bit it is doable with not much money depending on your industry. What exactly are you wanting to start or do? You can be vague if you want, but just to give me an idea of the capital needed.
-
@PenguinPablo Yeah, I know how that is. It would be worth it to take some time to experiment with different fields. I found that really helpful for the year of college that I did. It is well worth exploring the options. If you are in a position with a bit more safety and can try to start a business that would be well worth it too. Even if just for the experience. I appreciate it. I am glad to help.

Yeah, you can even spawn some ideas off of it. Steve Jobs was able to transform computing by doing that. He just paid to see what Zerox was doing with their computer. Which in turn has made Apple one of the largest companies on the planet from the ideas he got just from look at what they were doing. Just don't take it to a point where it hinders your progress is more what I am saying. Yeah, you will have to work out what you want to do. If I were an investor like that I would want shares of the company. But I don't really know the situation and what they want. You are going to want to figure out what they want and discuss those terms with them. It is doable to have a foreign investor own part of it, or you could possibly have some from of repayment with interest etc.
-
Send out more applications and follow up with them in person. You will land a job eventually. I would not get too personal, or even bring it up unless they ask about it though if it were me. I realize some are asking, but just explain that you had personal matters to attend to. Saying what you are saying now would make someone wonder if you can handle the job or not. I would find a way to phrase it better.
-
@paprika It sounds like you are either really happy with what you already do, or the business you want to start is not the the fit then. It would be possible to make a business around what you already are doing though with traveling and teaching. I guess the real question would be is what would you want out of the business? Freedom, less hours, more money, or maybe more impact?

Looks like the item got shipped out, so I will see how it is when it gets here. I am going to really keep trying to ramp this up as much as possible and leverage this saved up tax money as much as I can. This has turned out to be a really good strategy. I am glad that I toned back a bit on the stock stuff for now and just put it into making bigger returns for my business. Granted I am putting myself more into a position with tighter money again, but it is alright. I am just going to keep focusing on this and get as much done as possible. I am really starting to see a lot of growth and expansion. I am working more and more on the forgiveness. I am going to do a few more sessions with the forgiveness video Leo made about a few more scenarios with my Dad. I am making good progress on the forgiveness. I can see more clearly how he did the best he could. Even if it was very limited it was really the best he had with his knowledge. It is unfortunate that just a lack of knowledge can cause something like that. I hope that he has changed for the better over the years. I am accepting that he took my money and if he feels he needs to keep it, then that it fine. I don't need anything from him. That and just working through accepting a lot of his violent actions and alcoholism. I am sure that his childhood probably had scarcity and likely physical abuse. So I can see how easy it would be to pass that on. Really working on using productivity applications to help streamline my workflow. I am making a lot of big changes with how I note take and keep track of my things to do. This is going to be extremely beneficial for me to work on. I think this is really going to help me streamline my business and my activities. I am going to try to work in more time for personal development stuff. I have a fairly good balance of things though overall I feel like. I do want to work more on the life purpose course again though. Some more time to read would be great too. I think if I can work more on the sleeping schedule that would be a big benefit there to those though. Today I am thankful for Good deals Progress Helpful friends

It will really help if you are interested in the stuff you are working on. That will play a big first role in it. Starting out something is not really that easy though and it takes a lot of time and concentration. You are going to have to pinpoint what you really want and figure out how to go about doing it with a clear strategy. For myself the beginning is usually pretty slow and gradual. I have noticed with a lot of work on myself though I am able to concentrate much better. I have removed a lot of distractions from my life like facebook and video games. I will probably do these activities seldom in the future, but for now I have completely cut them out. This has freed up a lot of time that I was originally wasting. Work on your concentration skills. Building a strong meditation routine and more discipline is really going to help you push through more of the labor intensive work. You are likely just hitting an emotionally intensive spot for your work. You might be able to find a way around it, but you will likely hit it somewhere else while working on this. So you need to figure out how to power through it if you really want to make it succesful. Build yourself a powerful routine that keeps your days more consistent with time. Building in strong habits that will build you up throughout the day is crucial. Then you are going to want to add in time that is purely focused on your business WITHOUT distractions. It is much better to have a little bit of time undistributed than to have a bunch of time with distractions. Figure out how to limit your distractions. I like to use a separate computer and an Ipad directly set up for productivity and work. That and spending an certain amount of allocated time to working on my business. I find that with less hours I can accomplish much more if it is just focused. You have to really want it. It is much easier to think about how good it would be and just not doing the work towards it. I have done this plenty of times myself. Once the work gets tough many will not be able to pass that point. Figure out what will motivate you and keep working on it. Try listening to this for 30 days.

I have seen people have some good success with some of the site building stuff too. It really depends on how crucial it is to your success. It is really good to come down to the amount of time or your budget you have to work on it. Having a well designed site is really going to make a huge difference on the retention and the level of interaction with the customers. So depending on how much you need it, then I would not cheap out on it. But you can grow and develop it over time too. It will really depends on what you need though ultimately. For me if I was just to do something for my reselling business shopify would be just fine for me as I am not looking to invest a ton of time into it. I would just want my application to move my listings there with ease, so I can offer recurring customers an incentive with discounts and pick up a bit more online traffic from web search. Now if I wanted something for my other work I would need something much more flexible and customized.
-
A lot of it will come down the industry you are entering into. You are going to be going against people who are depending on this to survive. They want to feed their families. Some people are ruthless and will do anything it takes to get ahead even if it requires harming other people. Not everyone is like that though. You can actually find those who want to work together and create something together. Make sure you have a written agreement for funding and I would suggest getting that through a lawyer. In your case you obviously have the advantage though since you are the one receiving the funds, so you would benefit from not having one. Regardless one should be made that clearly will state the roles and interest of other parties in your business and ownership. I would not worry that much about the competition. You can use it for a good gauge to learn from and see how you can expand. Depending on the niche most would likely just leave you alone. When I was younger I worried more about what the competition was doing. Bad actors usually take care of themselves and you really don't have to say much. In fact you look better if you say nothing at all about them. Especially if you are more established than the other.

Did a lot of work with a trip yesterday. I am really focusing on forgiveness. I have had a lot of childhood trauma from abuse. So this is something pretty significant for me to focus on. I have been already gradually working on this and was starting to forgive more. This is going to speed things up for sure and I think it will be a step in the right direction. I might be ready to try to add my dad back into my life after almost 7 years. I am not sure yet competently. Obviously if it is not a healthy relationship I am not going to tolerate that. My new niche for buying items online is going incredible. If things go as planed I literally just got a $1,000 for $260. Now I need to do a little fixing to it, but it should not be too major. About a $20 repair if it is exactly what I think it is. If I cannot fix it is still worth about $600-$700 in current condition, but I think this will not be a bad fix. This has been a major improvement on my sourcing. I am going to see if I can keep getting big ticket items like this or at least aim for higher dollar ones. I am not going to just do it this way, but this is seriously helpful for me. This is a big time saver and I find good stuff this way. The reselling is really ramping up. Everything I am putting in place is starting to give me massive results. I am hoping that I can at least double my income if not triple it by the end of the year. This will be a major advancement in the pace of me meeting financial goals. I am going to mostly keep focusing on reinvesting this money though. If I do not meet my savings goal I will not be disappointing. I need to generate more income and I cannot do that without money moving. I am going to save my entire stimulus check though. I would also like to keep working towards adding into my roth ira. Today I am thankful for Great healing trip New productivity app Increasing note taking
